00:00Dave, I'm going to go to you for your card here on this Saturday.
00:03We'll reset the best bet as well,
00:05but the other options here on your week eight card.
00:09Yeah, on my card, I like Tennessee.
00:11You know, I actually bought it up to three.
00:13It's sitting at two and a half.
00:14I think that's, as you said earlier, a disrespectful line.
00:17Tennessee's a better team here.
00:18I understand the spot coming off a big game against Alabama.
00:20Now on the road at South Carolina, I'm just not buying South Carolina.
00:23And that's a South Carolina team that I watched beat Florida and Gainesville.
00:26They're just not very good.
00:27And people underestimating a top 10 defense, if not a top five defense in Tennessee.
00:32I like Michigan, Indiana under.
00:34We just went over a few minutes ago, two of the best defenses in football.
00:37Indiana has struggled this year on offense,
00:39just like Michigan, who's been dreadful in offense.
00:42Michigan's 120 or their worst in every single statistical category.
00:45I understand they switch quarterbacks from Underwood to Carr.
00:48I'm still not buying it.
00:49Carr looked great against Penn State.
00:51This is a step up in Indiana.
00:53If Carr was playing somebody like Purdue, maybe it makes a difference for Michigan.
00:56Michigan, I'm still going under the 42 and a half.
00:59We just touched on the game, the big game day game in Provo with Utah and Houston.
01:04I'm going over 56 and a half.
01:06That one, we have two really, really good offenses, a bad Houston defense.
01:10And then I'm gonna go a little bit off the beaten path here.
01:12Most of those games that I just mentioned were all ranked games, big conferences.
01:16I like to dabble in the smaller conferences from time to time.
01:19And it's a big game, Kevin, a really big game for a group of six bid that's out there.
01:25The New Mexico Lobos right now have the shortest price of all the group six teams to make the playoffs
01:30at plus 80 at the sports books.
01:32And the good reason why, five and one this season against the spread.
01:35They're playing North Dakota State at home.
01:38Their head coach, Jason Eck, has taken the social media this week to scream and yell and get everybody they
01:43can to come and sell out University Stadium,
01:45a stadium that I spent three years down there in Albuquerque going to the games.
01:48No, it's not the SEC.
01:50No, it's not the big house.
01:51It's not Ann Arbor.
01:52But it can be a feisty place to play.
01:54They host a bowl game every single year.
01:56Lobos, four and one is a favorite this year of at least four and a half points.
02:00They've handled expectations.
02:02They lead the nation.
02:03And this is a little bit off the beaten path in terms of analytics.
02:06Defensive havoc.
02:07And for those that aren't aware of defensive havoc, it's disruption plays.
02:12It's turnovers.
02:13It's sacks.
02:13It's getting in there and disrupting the offense.
02:16They can do that to a New Mexico, a new North Dakota State team that has struggled at times on
02:22offense,
02:22scoring just seven points against UNLV.
02:25I like the Lobos.
02:26They have a very underrated defense.
02:28They've held five of their six opponents to 10 points or fewer.
02:31Look at what they did with Oklahoma.
02:32They lost that game 14 to 10, holding the Sooners under 300 yards.
02:36New Mexico, minus four and a half in Albuquerque versus North Dakota State.
