00:00We are chasing a supercell to the south of Albuquerque.
00:03There have been numerous of these supercells today.
00:06They are a little bit higher based in central and northern New Mexico,
00:09lower based down in the southern part of the state.
00:11There you can see a pretty dense rain and hail core there,
00:14even a bit of a lowering in the middle of this storm.
00:17It's pumped out a lot of rainbows as well.
00:19We are getting a little bit more concerned about the flash flood situation
00:23down near Alamogorda, New Mexico, through Ruidoso.
00:27There are some burn scars up there in the mountains,
00:29and supercells are organizing across southern New Mexico.
00:32They're going to slam into the western slopes of those mountains
00:35where the burn scars exist,
00:37and there could be a pretty decent flash flooding event overnight tonight
00:40across especially the mountains with the burn scars in southern New Mexico,
00:44including Ruidoso, Alamogorda as well.
00:47But look at this supercell storm.
00:48A massive, crisp updraft base on this.
00:52Mesocyclone above it.
00:53Some lightning happening as well in that core of this supercell storm.
00:57A beautiful storm here near Belen in New Mexico to the south of Albuquerque.
01:02This has a special weather statement, likely to go severe very soon here,
01:06especially with this very dense rain and hail core.
01:09You can get a lot of microburst action out here as well.
01:12But we are about to shift to flash flood mode
01:14as we head south into southern New Mexico near Alamogorda to Ruidoso.
01:19Do something with youreterial...
01:19Let's go.
