Brian Lara is as busy as a bee.
That's because he's been engaged with book signings across the country, following the latest publication, 'Lara, The England Chronicles.'
Just yesterday, he went back to Harvard Club which was just the beginning.
Having retired from international cricket nearly two decades ago, Lara's aim is to give back to the club.

This was the historic return of Brian Charles Lara to the Harvard Club.
00:05
Just recently, a book launch invitation on the batting legend took place at his home,
00:09
the name being Lara, The England Chronicles.
00:11
Thereafter, book signings took place at the Queen's Park Oval and the Brian Lara Cricket
00:16
Academy in Tiruba, and now Harvard.
00:19
As such, it has been a busy period for the former West Indies batsman who addressed the
00:23
gathering at the club where it all started.
00:25
My sister Agnes had read a newspaper, an advert from the Harvard Coaching Clinic, which was
00:32
looking to recruit kids.
00:36
It was November 1975.
00:40
I was six years old, and the clinic was starting in January, the start of the dry season.
00:48
Agnes told Dad that he should get me there.
00:51
He agreed.
00:53
I was learning to play a lot of good cricket on the streets on undue pitches, but it was
01:00
time to move up.
01:01
Lara, who's now 55 years of age, feels extremely proud to have passed through Harvard, where
01:06
he learned a lot.
01:07
For him, it's an honor to be a member of the club and to have addressed those present.
01:12
It was such wonderful times.
01:14
I visited all corners of Trinidad and Tobago through this coaching clinic, Ecacus Point,
01:21
Mayaro, Manzanilla.
01:23
I remember playing against Renwick Bishop and his brother, and we were under 16, and
01:29
those guys looked like if they were pretty much grown men.
01:34
Lara has the highest individual test score of 400 not out, and also an unbeaten 501 in
01:39
first class cricket, having achieved so much, he wants to give back to Harvard.
01:44
To every single member, past and present, thank you.
01:50
To the young ones, I'm not sure if there are much young ones here, but there are a
01:54
lot of parents here.
01:55
I want to say that this is such a wonderful place to start your career, and one thing
02:02
I want to promise the Harvard members is that I want to come back.
02:08
I want to come back and be a part of this club.
02:10
I want to come back and see this club.
02:17
I want to come back and see this club prosper.
02:21
Lara also presented a copy of the book to Harvard President Brian Lewis.
