T&T cricketer Yannic Cariah, returned home recently following his title winning success with Fortune Barishal in the Bangladesh Premier League.

Cariah described the experience in Bangladesh was second to none and one that he will cherish.

00:06 of the winning team Fortune Baruchal but only played one game in the tournament taking a
00:09 wicket and scoring just four. Nonetheless, it was a moment to cherish for the 31 year

00:14 I think it was a fantastic tournament for me and for the team. I think it was my first
00:18 time playing in the BPL and actually winning the tournament was fantastic.
00:22 How competitive was it for you?
00:24 It was really good and it was really competitive because some of the best players in the world
00:28 was there and the competition was very high and the standard of cricket was very high
00:32 so it was very competitive.
00:34 He says being around top international cricketers and receiving advice from them has motivated
00:39 him to work harder. It also makes him want to shine for the West Indies team.
00:43 Yeah, most definitely. Seeing how the guys operate and seeing the level of cricket those
00:49 guys are playing and the way they prepare and the way they go about their cricket is
00:53 fantastic so I'm always looking forward to getting better.
00:56 There are lots of T20 tournaments taking place around the world with many players hoping
01:00 to make the cut. As far as Carrier is concerned, his aim is to work hard and see where it takes

01:06 Once I get to keep performing, the sky's the limit. Any cricketer gets to play outside
01:10 as a professional cricketer. Once you get the opportunity to play cricket at a high
01:15 level, you welcome it. I'm just looking forward to keep performing at a high level
