00:08Hi friends! I just got this plastic safety eye haul from Teemu and I'm super excited to open
00:14it up and share them with you guys. Let's start with these puppies right here. They're all the
00:20same type of eye, just different sizes. They have both the black part of the eye and some eye white.
00:27So I love how it's a little bit offset and this will be really nice for those of you who
00:34want to
00:36skip embroidering the whites of the eyes. Let's take a look here. I've got them in several different
00:42sizes. I think these are the 18 millimeter eyes and as you can see you can place them so that
00:48they're a little bit offset. So cute. Here's a doll that I have where I put in normal black safety
00:55eyes
00:55and I had to embroider the little white of the eye. So if you use these eyes it would just
01:02have the
01:02same effect except it's a lot cleaner and neater and you don't have to do that extra step of
01:07embroidering. I definitely prefer this method so much more and I can't wait to use these for my
01:15amigurumi. Here are some other sizes available. As you can see they come in the pouches all with the same
01:25size and they have these
01:27backings on as well. I love how they're shaped actually. Looks like they'll be much easier to put on.
01:34So I've got these here that are slightly larger. And this bag includes eyes that are just a tad smaller
01:44than the other two.
01:52So cute. Here's a project I have that's a work in progress. I'm making a little Easter bunny basket for
02:00my
02:00daughter this Easter. I love that this end is pretty thin. It's not too thick so you can just push
02:06it into
02:06your stitches quite easily. And you can adjust the eye so that you see where the white falls. It can
02:14be
02:14under or you could put it off to the side for different looks. For some further contrast I decided
02:21to stick the eyes into my bag directly because the colors are darker here. So you can see what the
02:28whites
02:28would look like above some color. I'm really surprised by the quality. It's quite nice. No chips and it looks
02:43like everything is very smooth. I got out the 18 millimeter eyes that I have and I've got the blacks
02:51up and the whites down.
02:53So I am ready to attach these eyes. And let's see how it works.
03:07Quite easy. I don't need to use much force at all.
03:14Typically these larger eyes are a struggle to get in, especially with how thick the backs are.
03:22But you'll see that these are not that thick at all. They're thinner and the backings already have
03:27little divots in them to make it much easier for attaching. So it's definitely very well designed.
03:34And look at that.
03:37So cute.
03:39Alright, really excited about these eyes. I think they'll get lots of use in my Amigurumi projects.
03:45Let's take a look at the other sets that I received.
03:50These two are both eyes that have glittery backs. And we don't have the contents to show you.
03:59They are massive eyes, by the way. Oh my goodness. I don't think I've ever used such large eyes before
04:06in my Amigurumi.
04:08They have, look at that huge backing. Oh my gosh. Okay, I love that they're covered and protected.
04:17So the quality is very well kept here. It looks like you can add the backings to the, or not
04:26backings, sorry.
04:27The glittery backs to the eyes. So I have green eyes here. And I can also make blue eyes.
04:36This other pack that I have is multicolored. There are lots of different colors available.
04:41Let's go ahead and open that up too.
04:48I love how they are separated by size. You can easily differentiate between them.
04:54I got some really huge eyes here. Let me pull them out to show you.
05:01Oh my goodness. Look at that.
05:07Massive. And these come with the backings and the backs, like the colored backs separately. They're all glittered.
05:15So what you would do is put the back behind the glass piece of the eye. I'll go ahead and
05:21demonstrate that in a bit.
05:23I'm going to pick one of these out to attach to one of my new Amigurumi designs.
05:28By the way, I should add that these eyes range from 16 millimeters to 30 millimeters. So this huge one
05:35that I showed you is 30 millimeters across.
05:39And the smaller ones that I have here are 16 millimeters across.
05:45Pulling out this set of 18 millimeter eyes. And I'll be using this for my project.
05:52You can see all these different backings that come with. You've got choices like pink or I guess that's kind
05:59of purplish pink.
06:01There's gold and green and blue. And it looks like this is black. Pretty neat.
06:10All right. I'm going to choose pink for my project because I've got a floppy little pink kitty that I
06:17wanted to finish up here.
06:20All you would need is to find the color backing you want.
06:24Insert your backing behind your eye like so.
06:33And you're going to do that for both of the eyes.
06:37All right. My floppy cat here is super excited to finally get her eyes.
06:41As you can see, her head isn't even stuffed. So she looks really funny.
06:45But let's go ahead and make sure we get those eyes in so we can get this Amigurumi going.
06:53All right. So I picked out these 18 millimeter eyes and got those pink backings on.
07:02I'm going to push it into my Amigurumi where I want the eyes to go.
07:08And I'm going to push it into my eyes.
07:08Like so.
07:10Let's stick in that second eye.
07:21All right. And we're going to add those backings.
07:26And we're going to add those backings.
07:27And we're going to add those backings.
07:37So there you have it. Those are the eyes attached.
07:41I think they look fantastic.
07:43And I'm so surprised at the quality for the value or the affordability of these eyes.
07:50You really don't have to pay an arm and a leg to get great looking Amigurumi eyes.
07:56Let's go over pricing now.
07:58So this whole value pack has 56 pieces.
08:03And it comes with 16 to 30 millimeter eyes.
08:06As you can see, they're all packaged in different bags according to size.
08:11And I love that they have a variety of colors too.
08:14Everything you see here in this set is $9.99.
08:17So you get so many pairs of eyes in various sizes and colors for $9.99.
08:24This other colored pack that I shared earlier where the eyes are protected with film.
08:30And these are a bit higher quality than the value pack.
08:36As you can see, it's very, very protected and it's clean cut.
08:41You don't have any chips or little blemishes on the edges.
08:47This value pack is only $3.99.
08:51And they come in a variety of different sizes.
08:54And you get a good number of different eyes here.
08:57There are eight pieces in this set.
08:59So you would have four different pairs of eyes.
09:03And I chose to get them in the colors blue and green.
09:08There are other colors available.
09:10Check the link in the description box to see the product.
09:14Lastly, let's talk about these black and white eyes with the curved pupils.
09:19These are really great once more if you want to avoid embroidering the white onto your amigurumi's eyes.
09:26They are just so nifty and clean to attach and put on.
09:30So these are all sold separately as different sizes.
09:34I got the 13 millimeter eyes.
09:37I think it's this one here.
09:38They're all in sets of 20.
09:41So 10 pairs of 13 millimeter eyes for $2.99.
09:4510 pairs of 16 millimeter eyes for $3.49.
09:50And 10 pairs of these 18 millimeter eyes for $3.99.
09:56My amigurumi here has the 18 millimeter eyes in.
10:00And I love how it looks.
10:03Thank you friends for tuning in to my Timu haul here of plastic safety eyes.
10:08They have so many other options available.
10:10I wanted to pick these because they looked unique and quite cute to me.
10:15I personally have never seen these black and white curved pupil eyes before.
10:19So I was really happy to get my hands on them and use them for my amigurumi.
10:24And of course, having these glittery eyes makes amigurumi's really pop with a lovely finishing touch.
10:33All right.
10:34Thanks so much.
