00:00In this video, I will show you how to download apps on your HP laptop.
00:05So if it's a case that you've just got a new HP laptop and you're wondering how to download apps,
00:11then what you want to do from your desktop is come down to your search box in the taskbar at
00:15the bottom
00:15and in here you want to type Microsoft Store.
00:19Once you do this, underneath Best Match, you should see the Microsoft Store come up,
00:23give that a click and that's going to launch the Microsoft Store.
00:26So this is kind of like an app store where you can download different apps and games from.
00:30And there's two ways you can actually download apps from here.
00:32So if there is a particular app that you're looking to download, there is a search box at the top.
00:37So what you can do is type that into here.
00:40For example, let's take Facebook.
00:41And what you can then do is click onto Facebook and you should see a blue button which is going
00:46to say get or install.
00:48I've already got mine installed so you can see it says open.
00:50So just click install to install the app onto your HP laptop.
00:55Now another way to do this is if you come over to the left hand side of the store,
00:58you can see we've got an apps option here.
01:01Give that a click.
01:02And what that's going to do is take you to this screen here.
01:05We can browse through the different apps available.
01:07You can see at the top we've got some different categories.
01:09For example, we've got like entertainment apps, apps for developer tools, music, creativity and so on and so forth.
01:16So again, you can just scroll through and check out the different apps available.
01:20And if there's one you like the look of, like you want to try and download or install,
01:23just give it a click and again, you're going to see the get or install button,
01:27which you can use to download that app onto your HP laptop.
01:31So that's how to download apps on a HP laptop.
