00:00In this video I will show you how to download YouTube videos to your laptop so you can watch

00:17So to do this as you can see we're currently here on youtube.com so I'll be showing you how
00:22to
00:22download your own videos as well as other people's videos. If you want to download any of your own
00:27videos from your channel all you need to do is make sure you're logged into your account click
00:31onto your profile icon in the top right hand corner and from this menu that comes up you want to
00:36come
00:36and click onto YouTube studio. Once you're on your studio come over to the menu on the left hand side
00:41and click onto content and once you're on the content screen what you want to do is find the
00:47video that you want to download. So what I'm going to do is use this one as an example and
00:52if you hover
00:53over the video you're going to see some options come up underneath the video title. What you want
00:57to do is click onto the three dots where it says options and from here from this menu you're going
01:02to see the options to download. Give that a click and that's going to download that onto your laptop.
01:07Now if you want to download other people's videos then what you want to do is come across to YouTube
01:11and of course find the video that you want to download. So what I'm going to do is just go
01:16ahead
01:16and select this video here. Now once you're on the video page if you come down below the video
01:21you should see a download button. If you don't see a download button click onto the three dots here
01:26for more options and you should find the option to download. Give that a click. What that's going
01:32to do is download this onto your laptop or computer. Just a note you do need YouTube premium in order
01:38to do this which is a monthly paid subscription to YouTube which allows you to download videos as
01:43well as some other features and benefits. Now as you can see it's now downloaded and to find your
01:48downloaded videos just simply come and click onto the three lines in the top left hand corner
01:53and from this menu that comes up you want to scroll down to the you section where you should see
01:57the
01:57downloads section here. Give that a click and that's going to take you across to this page where you
02:02can find all your downloaded videos which is great because it allows you to keep watching if you don't
02:07have a stable internet connection or something like that and that is how to download YouTube videos
