00:00In this video I will show you how to take a screenshot on a HP laptop.
00:05Now to do this from your desktop what you want to do is come down to your search box
00:09in the taskbar at the bottom and in here you want to type Snipping Tool.
00:14Underneath Best Match you should see the Snipping Tool come up,
00:17give that a click and that's going to open up a window like this.
00:19From here what you want to do is make sure you've clicked onto the camera icon
00:23and then click the new button here.
00:25Now what it's going to do is bring up a cursor like this
00:28and what you can do is hold down your left mouse button and just drag
00:31and basically use that to capture part of your screen.
00:35So for example if I drag it to here and let go of my left mouse button
00:38as you can see that's going to take a screenshot of the area that I specified.
00:43Now what that's going to do is automatically save this in your screenshots folder.
00:47So to find that from this window which is going to pop up when you've done the screenshot
00:51if you come up and click onto the three dots in the top right hand corner
00:54you will see there's an option here to open the screenshots folder.
00:58Give that a click and this is where you're going to find all your screenshots that you've taken.
01:02And what you can also do is just hold down the Windows key,
01:05Shift and S on your keyboard which is the keyboard shortcut to also start a snip as well.
01:11So that is how to take a screenshot on your HP laptop.
