00:00In this video, I will show you how to install Gmail app on your laptop.
00:05To get started with this, what you want to do is head over to gmail.com
00:09and you do need Google Chrome to do this.
00:11So if you currently use a different internet browser,
00:14like for example, Microsoft Edge or Firefox,
00:16download Google Chrome and then use that to come across to your Gmail.
00:20Now, once you've done that and you're logged in,
00:22all you want to do is come up to the top right hand corner of Google Chrome,
00:25click onto the three dots to open this menu.
00:28And from here, you want to come and hover over the cast, save and share option.
00:32On the sub menu that comes up, you're going to see an option to install pages app.
00:36Give that a click.
00:37What it's going to do is come up with a window asking if you want to install this page as
00:41an app.
00:41What you can do is give the app a name.
00:43So I'm going to leave it set to Gmail and then click onto install.
00:47Now, what it's going to do is install this as its own individual app.
00:50So you'll see if I close this down, come to my desktop
00:53and you can see we've got the Gmail app here.
00:56So you can also use your search box and search for Gmail.
00:59You're going to see it come up as an app.
01:00And then when you click this, it's going to open Gmail as an app on your desktop.
