01:12We should not justify nor hide them before the face of Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, but confess them with
01:20a humble, lowly, penitent and obedient heart.
01:24To the end that we may obtain forgiveness of the same, by his infinite goodness and mercy.
01:35Although we ought always to humbly acknowledge our sins before God, we should do this particularly when we assemble and
01:43meet together,
01:44to give thanks for the great benefits we have received at his hands.
01:48To give him most worthy praise, to hear his most holy word, and to ask those things which are truly
01:57necessary as well for the body as the soul.
02:02Therefore I pray and ask you, who are present here today, to accompany me with a pure heart and humble
02:09voice to the throne of the heavenly grace, as we say together.
02:16Almighty and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from your ways like lost sheep.

05:57Yet, he delivered them for the sake of his reputation, that he might reveal his power.
06:04He shouted at the Red Sea, and dried up.
06:07He led them through the deep water as if it were a desert.
06:11He delivered them from the power of the one who hated them.
06:15Rescued them from the power of the enemy.
06:19The water covered their enemies.
06:22Not even one of them survived.
06:25They believed his promises.
06:27They sang praises to him.
06:30They quickly forgot what he had done.
06:33They did not wait for his instructions.
06:37In the wilderness, they had an insatiable craving for meat.
06:41They challenged God in the wastelands.
06:45He granted their request, then struck them.
06:49With a disease.
06:51In the camp, they resented Moses and Aaron, the Lord's holy priest.
06:57The earth opened up and swallowed Dathan.
07:01It engulfed the group led by Abiram.
07:05Fire burned their group.
07:07The flames scorched the wicked.
07:10They made an image of a calf at Horeb and worshipped a metal idol.
07:14They traded their majestic God for the image of an ox that eats grass.
07:21They rejected the God who delivered them.
07:23The one who performed great deeds in Egypt.
07:27Amazing feats in the land of Ham.
07:30Mighty acts by the Red Sea.
07:34He threatened to destroy them.
07:36But Moses, his chosen one, interceded with him and turned back his destructive anger.
07:44They rejected the fruitful land.
07:46They did not believe his promise.
07:49They grumbled in their tents.
07:52They did not obey the Lord.
07:54So he made a solemn vow that he would make them die in the wilderness.
07:59Make their descendants die among the nations and scattered them amongst foreign lands.
08:05They worshipped Baal of Peor and ate sacrifices offered to the dead.
08:11They made the Lord angry by their actions and a plague broke out among them.
08:18Phineas took a stand and intervened and the plague subsided.
08:23This was credited to him as a righteous act for all generations to come.
08:30They made him angry by the waters of Meribah, and Moses suffered because of them.
08:36For they aroused his temple, and he spoke rashly.
08:42They did not destroy the nations as the Lord had commanded them to do.
08:46They mixed in with the nations and learnt their ways.
08:51They worshipped their idols, which became a snare to them.
08:55They sacrificed their sons and daughters to demons.
08:59They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan.
09:07The land was polluted by bloodshed.
09:11They were defiled by their deeds and unfaithful in their actions.
09:16So the Lord was angry with his people and despised the people who belonged to him.
09:22He handed them over to the nations, and those who hated them ruled over them.
09:28Their enemies oppressed them.
09:31They were subject to their authority.
09:34Many times he delivered them, but they had a rebellious attitude and degraded themselves by their sin.
09:42Yet he took notice of their distress when he heard their cry for help.
09:48He remembered his covenant with them, and relented because of his great loyal love.
09:55He caused all their conquerors to have pity on them.
10:11The Lord God of Israel deserves praise, in the future and for evermore.
10:17Let all the people say, we agree, praise the Lord.
10:24Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning,
10:30is now, and ever shall be, world without end.

10:40The first book of the Chronicles, chapter 29
10:46Hezekiah began to reign when he was 25 years old, and he reigned for 29 years in Jerusalem.
10:53His mother's name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.
10:58He did that which was right in Yahweh's eyes, according to all that David, his father, had done.
11:07In the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the doors of Yahweh's house and repaired
11:12them.
11:14He brought in the priests and the Levites and gathered them together in the white place on the east side
11:19and said to them,
11:21Listen to me, you Levites, sanctify yourselves and sanctify Yahweh, the God of your father's house,
11:29and carry the filthiness out of this holy place.
11:33For our fathers were unfaithful and have done that which was evil in Yahweh, our God's sight,
11:40forsaking him, turning away their faces from the habitation of Yahweh and turning their backs on him.
11:49Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, put out the lamps,
11:53and have not burnt incense or burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Israel.
12:00Therefore Yahweh's wrath was on Judah and Jerusalem,
12:04and he has delivered them to be tossed back and forth,
12:07to be in astonishment, a hissing, as you see with your eyes.
12:12For behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword,
12:16and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity because of this.
12:22Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with Yahweh,
12:26the God of Israel,
12:30that his fierce anger may turn away from us.
12:35My sons, do not be negligent now,
12:38for Yahweh has chosen you to stand before him,
12:41to minister to him,
12:42and that you should be his ministers and burn incense.
12:48Then the Levites arose,
12:51Mahath, the son of Amasi,
12:53Jewal, the son of Azariah,
12:55of the sons of the Cowardites,
12:57and of the sons of Merari-Kish,
13:00the son of Abdi,
13:02and Azariah, the son of Jehalilal,
13:05and of the Gershonites,
13:07Jewa, the son of Zimah,
13:09Eden, the son of Jewa,
13:12and of the sons of Elisaphan,
13:14Shimri, and Jeul,
13:16and of the sons of Asaph,
13:18Zechariah, and Mataniah,
13:21of the sons of Heman,
13:23Jehoel, and Shimei,
13:25and of the sons of Jeduthun,
13:28Shemiah, and Uziel.
13:30They gathered their brothers,
13:33sanctified themselves,
13:34and went in,
13:35according to the commandment of the king by Yahweh's words,
13:39to cleanse Yahweh's house.
13:42The priests went into the inner part of Yahweh's house,
13:45to cleanse it,
13:46and brought out all the uncleanness,
13:48that they found in Yahweh's temple,
13:52into the court of Yahweh's house.
13:55And then the Levites took it from there,
13:57to carry it out to the Kidron book.
14:01They began on the first day of the first month,
14:04to sanctify,
14:05and on the eighth day of the month,
14:07they came to Yahweh's porch.
14:10They sanctified Yahweh's house in eight days,
14:13and on the sixteenth day of the first month,
14:15they finished.
14:17Then they went in to Hezekiah the king,
14:20within the palace,
14:21and said,
14:21We have cleansed all of Yahweh's house,
14:24including the altar of the burnt offering,
14:27with all its vessels,
14:29and the table of the showbread,
14:31with all its vessels.
14:33Moreover,
14:34all the vessels,
14:35which King Ahaz in his reign,
14:37had thrown away,
14:38when he was unfaithful,
14:40we have prepared and sanctified.
14:43Behold,
14:43they are before Yahweh's altar,
14:46in the proper place.
14:49Then Hezekiah the king rose up early,
14:52gathering the princes of the city,
14:54and went up to Yahweh's house.
14:57They brought seven bulls,
14:59seven rams,
14:59seven lambs,
15:00and seven male goats,
15:02for a sin offering for the kingdom,
15:05for the sanctuary,
15:06and for Judah.
15:08He commanded the priests,
15:10the son of Aaron,
15:10to offer them up on Yahweh's altar.
15:13And so they killed the bulls,
15:15and the priests received the blood,
15:17and sprinkled it on the altar.
15:20They killed the rams,
15:22and sprinkled the blood on the altar.
15:24They killed also the lambs,
15:25and sprinkled the blood on the altar.
15:28They brought near the male goats,
15:30for the sin offering,
15:31before the king and the assembly,
15:33and they laid their hands upon them.
15:37Then the priests killed them,
15:38and they made a sin offering,
15:40with their blood on the altar,
15:41making atonement for all Israel.
15:45For the king commanded that the burnt offering,
15:47and the sin offering,
15:48should be made for all of Israel.
15:52He said the Levites,
15:54in Yahweh's house,
15:55with cymbals,
15:56with stringed instruments,
15:58and with harps,
15:59according to the commandment of David,
16:02of Gad,
16:03the king's seer,
16:04and Nathan,
16:05the prophet.
16:07For the commandment was from Yahweh,
16:09by his prophets.
16:12The Levites stood with David's instruments,
16:16and with the priests,
16:17and the trumpets.
16:19Hezekiah commanded them,
16:21to offer the burnt offering,
16:22on the altar.
16:23And when the burnt offering began,
16:26Yahweh's song also began,
16:28along with the trumpets,
16:29and David,
16:30king of Israel's instruments.
16:33All the assembly worshipped,
16:35the singers sang,
16:36and the trumpeters sounded.
16:39All this continued,
16:40until the burnt offering was finished.
16:43And when they had finished the offering,
16:45the king and all who were present with him,
16:47bowed themselves down,
16:49and worshipped.
16:50Moreover,
16:51Hezekiah the king,
16:52and the princes,
16:53commanded the Levites,
16:55to sing praises to Yahweh,
16:56with the words of David,
16:58and of Asaph the seer.
17:01They sang praises with gladness,
17:04and they bowed their heads,
17:05and worshipped.
17:07Then Hezekiah answered,
17:09Now you have consecrated yourselves,
17:11to Yahweh.
17:13Come near,
17:14and bring sacrifices,
17:15and thank offerings,
17:16into Yahweh's house.
17:19The assembly brought in,
17:20the sacrifices,
17:21and thank offerings.
17:23And as many as were of a willing heart,
17:26brought in burnt offerings.
17:29The number of the burnt offerings,
17:31which the assembly brought,
17:33were 70 bulls,
17:34100 rams,
17:35and 200 lambs.
17:39All these were,
17:40for a burnt offering,
17:41to Yahweh.
17:43The consecrated things,
17:45were 600 head of cattle,
17:47and 3,000 sheep.
17:49But the priests,
17:50were too few,
17:51so that they could not,
17:52flay all the burnt offerings.
17:55Therefore their brothers,
17:56the Levites,
17:57were told to help them,
17:58until the work was ended,
18:00and until the priests,
18:02had sanctified themselves.
18:05for the Levites,
18:06were more upright in the heart,
18:08to sanctify themselves,
18:10than the priests.
18:12all the burnt offerings,
18:14and the priests,
18:14were in abundance,
18:15with the fat,
18:16of the peace offerings,
18:17and the drink offerings,
18:18for every burnt offering.
18:21And so the service,
18:23of Yahweh's house,
18:24was set in order.
18:26Hezekiah,
18:27and all the people rejoiced,
18:29because of that,
18:30which God had prepared,
18:31for the people.
18:32For the thing was done,
18:34suddenly.
18:36This,
18:37is the word,
18:38of the Lord.
18:39Thanks,

18:52Mary said,
18:54My soul exalts the Lord,

20:18The Gospel according to St. Mark,
20:21chapters 15 and 16.
20:25When evening had come,
20:27because it was the preparation day,
20:29that is,
20:30the day before the Sabbath,
20:32Joseph of Arimathea,
20:34a prominent council member,
20:36who also himself,
20:38was looking for God's kingdom,
20:39came.
20:40And he boldly went in to Pilate,
20:42and asked for the body of Jesus.
20:47Pilate marveled,
20:48if he were already dead,
20:49and summoning the centurion,
20:51he asked whether he had been dead long.
20:55When he had found out from the centurion,
20:58he granted the body to Joseph.
21:00He bought a linen cloth,
