06:18And most important, which I'm going to be right back.
06:34But the question that I have to ask is, what are you going to leave behind?
06:40This is going to be a real deep one.
06:42This is going to be a powerful one.
06:45And you'll get something out of this.
06:46So, I'm going to be right back.
07:16where I'm at here now with this podcast. Six years ago, I couldn't believe it. We'll be
07:24celebrating the next few episodes. Just stay tuned because we will be celebrating six years
07:29of the 4-in-1 podcast. And like I said, just full circle, the things that we have going on
07:36here now,
07:38I will repeat the things that we have going on here now. I could not even imagine it when
07:44I was sitting in my mother's living room and I just had my cell phone and I was just on
07:53Instagram
07:54and all I did was just go live. August 2020, all hell was breaking loose. I was going through some
08:04things and I just decided to press play and look at what we have here now today. It's just amazing.
08:13And again, I cannot do this without each and every one of you out there supporting my friends that
08:20come through, my friends that are on the show. You're going to get a lot of that next week. So
08:26stay tuned for that. But again, I'm just thinking about just full circle of this elevation and this
08:33movement here. So I'm going to get off my little soapbox on that and we're going to get right into
08:39this. So song of the day.
08:50Boyz II Men, It's So Hard to Say Goodbye, released in 1991 off of their debut album,
08:59Cooley High Harmony. So I'm going to be on Boyz II Men for just a little bit.
09:05I was going back listening to the album as I was preparing for the show, but somebody very special
09:12to me, Mary J. Blige, she had Juan Moore, which is Juan Ye's sons. He has like four of them.
09:23They're basically a mini version of Boyz II Men, but Mary signed them to her record label
09:29and they sound amazing. I don't think they're still signed to this day. I think she's basically
09:35just focusing on her own career at this moment. But a few years ago, for those of you who follow
09:41the queen, you know that she introduced Juan Moore to the world. And I don't know what Juan
09:47Ye has done, but his genes are just crazy because it's a smaller version, a younger version,
09:54a mini version of Boyz II Men. That's exactly what they are. And they sound just like them.
10:00But I just wanted to put that out there for some reason. I just had to, but yeah, craziness.
10:10It just, Juan Moore is dope. Check out Juan Moore. But this song, I actually had, I sung this song
10:18a
10:18couple of times for some people, you know, at funerals and stuff. So I know the impact of this
10:24song and I've had it played at, you know, family members' funerals and it's hard. It is hard to say
10:31goodbye when someone has, you know, moved on when they've transitioned, but I'm going to remix it and
10:37keep it a little live here tonight. But how hard is it to say goodbye to the older version of
10:44yourself?
10:45See, it's like Jacob and Esau. One's going to be put in the forefront and the other one's going to
10:54have to take the backseat. But during that transition, it's never easy because internally,
11:01we have become so used to and so accustomed to the older version of ourselves. Like that's
11:07clockwork. We don't have to think. We really don't have to think when it comes to some of the old
11:12patterns and old thought processes and old things and behaviors that we have learned and that we
11:18have accumulated over the years. We just do it like clockwork. And some of us, you can cuss people
11:24out at the drop of a dime. Some of us can go to places that we shouldn't go and it
11:29just so naturally
11:30you can link up with people that you haven't talked to in years and it would just come back to
11:34you also
11:35naturally. But for those of us who don't live that lifestyle anymore and we are doing things a
11:40little bit different, it might be harder for you to think a little bit more positive about your
11:45situation. It might be harder for you to have a little bit more faith versus fear. And like I said
11:51before, as you go through this process, because it is so hard to say goodbye to yesterday, it's so hard
11:57to say goodbye to the older version of yourself. This is going to require work. I repeat, this is going
12:05to require work. This is going to require you to focus on the renewal of your mind and be in
12:12this
12:12process and be in this journey and be in a new version of yourself each and every single day. Now,
12:20I don't know what it's like to be on drugs. Thankfully, through the grace of God, I've never
12:25went down that path, but I have been in company. God has put me in company with people who
12:32were addicts. And I had to learn that process that I'm no better than somebody who was strung
12:41out on drugs. I'm no better than somebody who was strung out on alcohol. But one thing that I do
12:46know from speaking to a few people is that each and every day that they wake up, they have to
12:53make
12:53this choice. Am I going to go left or am I going to go right? Because we know exactly what
12:59left is
13:00because we've been doing left for, I don't know how long, but since I've changed my mind and I've
13:04made up my mind and I'm going to follow the new path, the righteous path, that means I have to
13:10make
13:10this decision when I walk out this door to turn right instead of turning left. This is what I mean
13:16when I say it's so hard to say goodbye because in that moment, and it only takes a moment for
13:22you to
13:22get off track if you decide to turn left instead of turning right. I don't know who I'm speaking to.
13:29So I'm only speaking from real life experiences, but I have been tested and I have been tried
13:35even up until now because it does not take me any effort to recite all of the cuss words that
13:44I have
13:44in my back pocket and be ready to go in upside somebody's head at the drop of a dime. But
13:50I have
13:50to speak to myself in aversion and say, okay, listen, we already know. We already know what it's like.
13:58We've been there before. We've done that. And that is no longer who I am. So we're going to have
14:04to go
14:04ahead and turn right because we want to follow this righteous path. I already know what it was like.
14:10At 40 years old, I realized that majority of my life, I have been doing things wrong. Now I'm
14:16stepping into the new version of myself and I have to go ahead and do things right. But oh, let
14:22me tell
14:23you people, it is so hard to say goodbye because it'd be that person on that good day that want
14:29to
14:29come and step to me and think that my kindness is a weakness and I'd be ready to step in
14:34like, okay,
14:35listen, let me go ahead and check you and show you exactly who I am. But now I can't do
14:39that today
14:40because I have to remember that God can handle people far way better than I can. And it ain't easy.
14:46I'm not even going to sit here and act like, you know, I got it like that because just last
14:50week I was ready to go in on somebody. Just last week I was ready to go in and I
14:55had to
14:55say, you know what, God, you did not take me this far for me to go ahead and turn around
15:00and lose it all. You know, it's so hard to say goodbye, but, but it's a must in order for
15:09us to
15:09get to the level that we need to get to. When so many people lose and so many people fall
15:15back
15:15and have to go back to what I say, you've already lost the game. You have already lost the game,
15:21ladies and gentlemen. The minute that you go back and forth, round and round arguing or debating with
15:28somebody else about something that is outside of you, something that you didn't create,
15:34you didn't do. They don't have nothing to do with you, but somebody brought it to your doorstep.
15:38Somebody projected their BS on you. And then now this is where we have to make this decision and say,
15:44okay, I know it's so hard for me to jump in and go in, but I'm not because they don't
15:49have nothing to
15:50do with me. And that's just one scenario. This could be anything. If you know full well
15:58and I'm a repeat this, this is for the people who are in their relationships, people who are out of
16:05relationships, people who are trying to figure this relationship thing out. And I'm going to get
16:10off of this. But if you know full well that the last three relationships that you've been in,
16:16you met this one at the club, you met this one at the bar, you met this one on an
16:21online dating
16:22website, whatever the case may be. And you know that you follow the same path during every single
16:28relationship and they all turn out the same way. It's all a physical thing before it becomes
16:34spiritual, before it even becomes mental. You just go right and jump into the physical aspect.
16:40This is where you have to practice patience and do something a little bit different.
16:46And I know it's so hard to say goodbye, but as you get into this new version of yourself,
16:52you want to get into this new relationship. You want to get into this new life, this new theme,
16:58this new era. Why would you do the same thing that didn't work three and four times before?
17:06I know it's so hard to say goodbye, but it's a must. If you want to level up and become
17:13the best version of yourself, I don't know what to say. Song of the day. It's so hard to say
17:21goodbye
17:21by Boyz II Men, released in 1991 off of their debut album, Cooley High Harmony. And in the meantime,
17:30go ahead and check out one more. They actually remade the Boyz II Men version of Please Don't Go.
17:36And that's amazing. That whole debut album from Boyz II Men was just crazy. Please Don't Go. It's so
17:44hard to say goodbye. Motown Philly. I mean, what more can I say? They definitely were it. Aside from
17:53New Edition that passed the torch to them, Jodeci was out directly after them. And then that became
18:01totally different with the hip hop thing. But yeah. All right. So now it's time to go ahead and reach
18:20out to my friends, author, poet, Burrman313.
18:42What's going on? Hey, how's it going? It's going good. It's going good. I can't complain. How about you?
18:49Oh, it's going good. I finally got a chance to see, uh, go to the allergy doctor and everything is
18:57clearing up, you know? So, Hey, that's good. Oh, that's good. That's good. And now the weather is
19:03going to be changing. So that'll be even better for you, right? Yeah. Changing the hot
19:10because I'm going to see this week and all of next week. It's going to be at least 98 every
19:20day.
19:20I love it. I absolutely love it. Bring it this way. Bring it this way.
19:27I'm sitting here like still enjoying this heat. It's like this last month, the heat definitely has
19:34turned up and it's that heat that, like I said last week, it'll, it'll turn your skin a different
19:38color. Like it has definitely turned up. I was a little nervous cause it's August and I know what
19:43happens. It starts to, you get them little fall elements, but we've been doing all right. It's
19:48been nice and humid and hot and people have been miserable, but I've been happy.
20:01And the storms and lightning and raining, but you know, that's past now. And they already said on the
20:09news up, you know, the rest of this weekend, all the next week, it's going to be 98.
20:1798. Well, now we start to get into like the hurricane season and all that mess too. Yeah.
20:25Yes, yes, yes. Ain't looking forward to that. Definitely looking forward to that.
20:29Definitely not. Definitely not. But yeah, I'm going to make it out to Texas. I'm going to
20:34experience this. I know I've been saying this for years, but I think it's next year. I'll put it on
20:39the list to be there. Yeah. You know, like I said, you know, I keep hearing that.
20:47No, I know. I know people say that. Well, you say you go on this and then I end up
20:51going in a
20:52whole different direction, going right past the place that I said I was going to go to. That's
20:57funny. Yeah. All right. So yeah, it's time to get into the money hacks. What number you got for us
21:07tonight here? Oh, let's try nine. Nine. That's so mystical. So mystical. I was listening to a podcast
21:17today and he was speaking about how nine is the number of truth. Like every number out there has
21:30the answer to the number nine. That's a whole nother story. But and he did this little demonstration,
21:36Mr. Myron Golden. I love him. But he did this little demonstration about the number nine.
21:43So let's see here. All right. We're going to do this here. Always keep paying at least the original
21:55minimum due every month. Your credit card issuer recalculates your minimum payment due every month
22:02based on your current balance. If you are paying down your balance, that means the credit card
22:06will reset your minimum lower. They want you to take more time to get out of debt because it means
22:14you'll end up paying more interest. Don't fall for this. Do not decrease your payment. Whatever your
22:22original minimum payment was, keep paying at least that much every month. For example, let's say your
22:31minimum payment due was $30 this month. Over time, as you reduce your balance, the minimum payment on
22:36your statement might say you might only owe $21. That's a trap. I want you to ignore the changing
22:44minimum and keep paying at least the $30 that you paid the first month so that you can tackle your
22:51credit card balance. So this here, I'm going to say I agree to disagree because I don't believe in
23:03paying the minimum balance due. I agree with paying all of the balance because for me personally,
23:13you shouldn't be paying any type of interest anyway because you shouldn't be robbing Peter
23:18to pay Paul. So if you rack up a credit card bill, that should mean that you had that money
23:25in your
23:25bank account and you had enough to cover it. You were just borrowing somebody else's money in the
23:29meantime, maybe to get benefits, maybe to get perks, maybe to get points, maybe to get whatever,
23:35but you really should not be borrowing money that you had no means to pay it back in the first
23:42place.
23:42So that's what I say. What do you say? I hear you, but you know, people are in a financial
23:50strain right now. Well, they've been, it ain't right now. It's been like that. So sometimes man,
23:56you know, just paying the minimum until, you know, things get better. Long they do that,
24:05but it won't wreck their credit. When you don't pay nothing, then that's when you have the issues.
24:13You are absolutely right. You are absolutely right with that. And as it was stated, once you start to
24:21pay, yes, that minimum balance will shift down and see, that's like, it is a trap because most people
24:27be like, wow, I was paying $30. Now all of a sudden I only have to pay 20. So I'm
24:33going to just pay the
24:3320 and the other $10. I'm just going to go ahead and blow it on whatever. Cause I mean, I
24:38know I had
24:40this habit of I'll pay you. Like if it was like 10 or $15, I would pay it. And then
24:47three days later,
24:48you know, I'm at the store spending it. Exactly. And it wasn't, I wasn't, I wasn't progressing or
24:57doing myself any favors. So now I just, what I try to do is just, I got a large amount.
25:04I try to pay it
25:06off and don't use the card period until I see it as zero, zero, zero. Absolutely. Absolutely.
25:22But I know everybody is not able to do that. Some are, and some are not. So.
25:29Right. Right. And, and for those of us who get to that point where you can see a zero balance,
25:36this is where it comes to, you know, you have to get that mental aspect together about how you think
25:44and feel about money and realize that if you don't have it in your bank account, you probably
25:51should not go ahead and swipe it on a credit cards because there's going to be some consequences. And
25:56that's a whole nother story, but yeah, you people have to learn how to use credit cards to their
26:02benefit. And a lot of times the credit card companies are using you instead of you using
26:07your credit card companies. So. Of course. Now, where are we going tonight? I have to do some digging
26:16here to stay. We are going to, for some reason. Oh, you'll be going to Cleveland, Ohio. What's up
26:28with Cleveland? You've been there before. Yes. Yes, I have. When I was playing while I was trying out
26:35with a team, I, I rode, I rode, I rode the bus back from Allentown, Pennsylvania to Lansing, Michigan,
26:46and we stopped in Cleveland for a couple of hours. That's the, that's, that's all it's been. But I
26:53mean, I've been to like, cause I have a son in Cincinnati high school, played a tournament in Akron.
26:59So, you know, I've been in Ohio. It's all right. Akron, Ohio. I've heard of that before. I heard
27:07of that before. Okay. LeBron James. Yeah. Just put it out there. So I know that's what you're thinking
27:15up. Yeah. All right. So we going to Cleveland, Ohio, and we are going to help out Andre. So this
27:29is what Andre has to say. Andre said, my father died eight months ago. I thought the hardest part
27:36would be the funeral. It wasn't. The hardest part came afterwards. My father left me approximately
27:42$86,000 from his life insurance policy and retirement account. I had never seen that much
27:49money in my name before. At first I didn't touch it. I was scared. Then everybody started having an
27:55opinion. Wow. That line right there. I'm a stop. Everybody started having an opinion. We won't go
28:02back to that. My sister said, dad would want me to enjoy some of it. Now his own sister is
28:10saying that
28:10dad would want her to enjoy some of it. My girlfriend said we could finally move into a
28:18better apartment. My cousin told me I should invest it. My mother reminded me that dad always
28:24talked about helping her get a house. And honestly, I started feeling guilty for keeping the money.
28:34Within four months, I brought a new car, paid off two credit cards, helped my sister with $5,000 and
28:42put
28:43a deposit on a luxury apartment. I also spent $8,000 traveling and going out because I kept telling
28:49myself life is short. Then I looked at the account. There was less than $30,000 left. That's when I
28:57got
28:57angry. Not at anyone else at myself. My father spent his entire life working. He wasn't rich. He wasn't
29:05flashy. He saved what he could and tried to leave something behind for his children. I turned part of
29:13that sacrifice into a lifestyle upgrade. Now I'm sitting here wondering what would he think? The money
29:19feels different now. Every dollar feels like a piece of his life. I'm realizing I wasn't prepared to
29:25inherit money because I was still trying to figure out what money meant to me. I don't want to spend
29:31the rest of it trying to make up for losing him. I want to honor him. Excuse me. I want
29:37to honor what
29:37he left me without letting grief make my financial decisions. How do you separate honoring someone's
29:44memory from spending what they left behind? What do you have for Andre? Well, I never had that much
29:52money left to me. Man, I had to think about this because I don't like to speak on other people's
30:01money. I will say only one person actually gave him some good advice when he said invest it. But in
30:16other
30:17words, really, I think he should have talked to a financial advisor at first. Now, you know what the
30:23first thing was? He shouldn't have told nobody how much money he had. Exactly. There you go, that part.
30:28That's the first thing. When he told everybody how much money he had, people seen dollar signs.
30:37Because actually, they was really asking him for some money. You know, that was there. But he should have
30:45spoke to a finance, you know, and then afterwards, he should have spoke to a financial advisor.
30:53And that way, he could kind of like, you know, ask, then, you know, he could find out what do
31:00when a, you know,
31:00the financial advisor was, you know, what do you really want to do with this money? I mean, I grew
31:07up
31:07where I grew up and I've had, I've had friends who, who, you know, when their parents passed away,
31:14and they was left a lot of money. And the situation came where some of them, they blew it. And
31:24some of it
31:25put it to, you know, good, good work. And it just depends on what all he wanted out of life,
31:32too. I mean, because it's like, like I said, man, when your sister and your girlfriend speak,
31:41oh, man, you know that you know what they're really asking.
31:45Yeah, that that that's something else. I'm gonna take it back to the things that I that stood out to
31:53me.
31:56Let's say, let's say, let's say. My sister said, my dad would want me to enjoy some of it. Who
32:04is
32:04this for? Is it for me or you? Did you get your part? I don't know if you did stop
32:10worrying about
32:12who should be enjoying it. That's that's a problem right there. My girlfriend said we can finally move
32:19into a better apartment. Now, I always like to say this. Who the hell is we?
32:28Yeah, like, don't say no, we you don't want to move. You don't want to want to move into a
32:34better
32:34apartment. I just said, who the hell is we? You don't come with that. That used to be said to
32:42me
32:42a lot of times. We know we didn't sign up for anything. You did stop trying to project that
32:47off on me. But now because we wanted to get into a better apartment, now you just lost some money.
32:53And now your cousin said that you should invest it again. Why are other people digging in your
32:59pocket and knowing what's going on? That wasn't no bad advice, but it is bad advice if you don't know
33:04what to do with it in the first place. So, yeah, that's that's the reason why I said, well, first
33:11of all, he shouldn't have said nothing at all to anybody. I always tell people, if you get a lump
33:18sum
33:19of money, keep your mouth closed because you know what? You're going to have all kind of people.
33:25all of a sudden, you're going to see the palms of their hands out reaching,
33:32asking for stuff and then go and then, you know, in the meantime, go to a financial advisor and try
33:40to at least get something, you know, a pathway to go. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to keep going a little
33:48bit, but it's a little bit, it's a little bit deeper than this here, even though I can't be so
33:53hard
33:53on Andre. It's a little bit deeper here. So now we said that the mother reminded him that getting a
34:03house, I don't know whether it was for her or whether it was for him. It sounds like it was
34:08for
34:08her because he ended up getting an apartment, but even still buying a house. I know people think that
34:14home ownership is everything, but that could be a trap too. You have to make sure you're prepared and
34:19ready for that. So that was a little interesting too. And he started feeling guilty for keeping the
34:26money. And that's basically a generational curse right there. When you start feeling a certain way
34:32about money and if it's not feeling anything that's biblically sound, that's signs of a generational
34:39curse. Um, and you know, I'm going on them vacation. Oh yeah. That's the next part. That's the next part.
34:47Now here's where it starts to get a little bit interesting. You bought a newer car. You didn't
34:53say a new car. You said you bought a newer car. So I'm going to say that that was probably
35:01a good
35:01move because who knew what the car was like before, but you needed a newer car. You paid off two
35:07credit
35:07cards. Now I like that part. Cause now we starting to get into some, some, some debt-free living here.
35:15This makes sense. Now you helped your sister with $5,000. Now, now I want to know for what,
35:25because see, you can't be helping people who don't want to help themselves. And the worst thing you can
35:29do is just give somebody money. And then you bought, you put a deposit on a luxury apartment
35:35because the girlfriend said so. Now see, now this is where it starts to go down. And then you almost,
35:42you spent about almost $8,000 traveling and going out because you kept telling yourself life is short.
35:50Life is short and the money is going to be short too.
35:55And then you looked at the accountant and only $30,000 was left and you basically got mad at
36:00yourself. Now I'm going to say that this is partially his problem, but it's really not
36:06because even his father has some responsibility here. Even though he's not here anymore,
36:12he has a responsibility because a good man, and this is Proverbs 13, 22. This is one of my favorite
36:19ones. A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children and a wealth of a sinner is
36:25laid up for the just. So that money was not Andre's to begin with. That money should have been put
36:31somewhere and set up so it can be for Andre's children because Andre needed some time to grow
36:38up and to get himself together. And this is where most of the time people lose it all. And this
36:43is
36:43where generational worth is squandered because they give money to the child when it's not supposed
36:52to be for the child. It's for the children's children. And if you do the right thing and save
36:57that money and keep it away from the child who might be reckless or not in their right frame of
37:02mind, it might give them an opportunity to go through life and learn and grow and learn how to manage
37:08money
37:09so that by the time they have children, they're able to place it in the right hands and teach
37:13their children how to handle that money and move forward.
37:19I'm going to leave with that one.
37:21Yeah.
37:21And then I can go in even more, but I'm going to pass it back to you.
37:26Yeah. I mean, you know,
37:29you said, well, you said basically the good things
37:33because I, well, what my curiosity is
37:38the dad didn't, did, did he leave
37:41everybody else some or was it just to his son?
37:44We don't.
37:45And that's, that's what I, you know, I, cause when I looked at it, I'm like,
37:49okay, so did he leave his daughter something
37:54or, or did he leave his wife something?
37:57Because both of them is chiming in.
37:59Like I said, he had too many people in his ears.
38:01Right. Right. Right.
38:04You know, and when you have too many people's,
38:06too many people in your ear, sometime you tend to, you know,
38:11get confused and then you just, okay, let me do this.
38:15Let me do this.
38:18Let me do this to keep their mouth closed.
38:24And that's why I feel as far as like, especially with his girlfriend,
38:28my girlfriend, it was like, let me do this to keep her mouth closed and keep her happy.
38:36And that, and she, and y'all ain't even married.
38:38So she can do the 180 on you and a drop of a dime.
38:41And now you done got into this luxury apartment and did whatever,
38:44because we wanted to get into a luxury apartment.
38:48Yeah.
38:48Yeah.
38:48And the thing, and the thing is, you got into this apartment, but can you keep up the maintenance?
38:55Exactly.
38:56You know, you know, all the other stuff that go along with it.
39:01Yeah.
39:02Because it sounds, it sounds like, I mean, he, he, he, he, he sounds like a good guy.
39:07Um, but it's just like people taking, like most people do when they find somebody that, um, is, I don't,
39:18I don't, I don't like to say weak,
39:20but somebody that's, uh, naive or soft hearted, then, Hey man, you know, they, and they'll, they'll use it.
39:30Um, they'll use it cause I mean, Hey, I'm quite, it doesn't happen to all of us where we was
39:36trying to do something and then somebody came along and yes, they see, oh yeah, they trying to do the
39:43right thing,
39:44but let me get advantage and get a, you know, arm up on him and I'm only going to let
39:53him feel just enough of it so he can keep going.
40:01Yeah. You know, this is interesting as we're getting ready. A lot of people are going back to school and
40:07we send our children to school, uh, so that they can learn absolutely nothing.
40:12Now I'll repeat that again. We send our children to school so that they can learn absolutely nothing. And we
40:16put all of the, the burden and the responsibility on a school system, thinking that that's going to make or,
40:24or break our children.
40:26When reality putting all of that responsible on them is what breaks the children. They don't teach them anything about
40:32financial literacy. And as anybody who's listening now that has children or has anybody that's looking up to them or
40:41plan on leaving any type of money to somebody behind, behind you, after you leave, you have a responsibility to
40:48teach them and instruct them what to do.
40:50Because if you think that, Oh, you're just going to go ahead and leave some money. If you leave a
40:54large amount of money to somebody who is not in their right frame of mind, it could be disastrous and
40:59it could be deadly.
41:01So you have a responsibility and more is caught than more is taught. So if you're reckless with money and
41:08all of a sudden you have this great big old life insurance policy and you know that your children are
41:14seeing you or your, your nieces, nephew, whoever you're going to leave money.
41:19Like seeing you seeing you seeing you seeing you seeing you for reckless life. All you were doing is passing
41:23down generational curses to the next level. And that's exactly what is going to happen. Go ahead.
41:32let me say this also though and and i know you've probably heard this where people say
41:42got all this money all this whatever it is but when i die is nothing i can't take it with
41:49me
41:49so i'm gonna give it i'm gonna give it to who you know the next person down and if they
41:57and i've
41:57heard people say this hey i'm giving it to them so but if they run through it hey i'm not
42:05here i can't
42:07do nothing with it i can't take it with me i gave it to them once i gave it to
42:11them they can do what
42:12they want with it that is that is one of the biggest things i've always heard i don't i don't
42:19know if you heard it but i've always heard that also when somebody has left somebody a bunch of
42:27money or some profit now but now i get the chime in here i'm glad you brought that up and
42:31i'm gonna
42:32tell you it's just one word what that is described and it's sometimes it's ignorance people don't
42:37know we could use that word ignorance but um i like to call it evil because that's basically satan's
42:44path now i know that that some people will not like that i'm saying this but it is the path
42:50of
42:50enemy the path that i told you what god said a good man leave it inheritance to his children's
42:56children so that's what he would like us to do he's saying a good man does that but an evil
43:02man
43:02because what's opposite from good an evil man is somebody who squanders wealth spending it all
43:08hoarding getting into debt leaving debt for people behind them to clean up and pay for the funeral
43:14this that the next the other fight off the uh the the um bill collectors after you have gone
43:22answering the phone calls dealing with that sending in death certificates to clear your name that's evil
43:28and again it's some of its ignorance you people don't know until they don't know what they don't
43:33know failure to instruct if you don't teach your children about money and how to handle money
43:39do as i say some of the same lines which you said um i can't i'm not gonna be here
43:45let them do whatever
43:46you can kill people i know that i that word that people may not like it but you can depending
43:54on what
43:55you leave behind it could aid somebody to to unaliving themselves that's what people say now because you
44:01can't use that word so excuse me people out there in the podcast and an atmosphere i did not mean
44:07to
44:07say that but you can help aid somebody unalive themselves if you they have a whole bunch of
44:13money worst thing you could do for a drug addict is someone who is a wealthy person and they have
44:18a
44:18child who is on drugs and you have a life insurance policy and you know full well that when you
44:24leave
44:24this earth your child is going to inherit it all types of money what do you think that person would
44:29think they wouldn't be able to sleep at night so they have to put steps in place to make sure
44:35that they
44:36don't aid in their child's destruction living recklessly partying up i've had somebody say well
44:43i can't take it with me so i'm gonna just go ahead and spend it all um i've had like
44:49i said i've heard
44:49that so many times but then again i've seen people who've gotten money and what they've done is they
44:58they they invested i mean i i i have some friends that have done that where they invested and they
45:05invested well and and then you know like somebody started a business and they said well i started this
45:11business and then i'm hoping that my child or my grandchild can grow into this business exactly and
45:22yeah and you know and but then like you said you have some and they get they get they get
45:28some money
45:29like my parents used to always say uh that money burning your burning a hole in your pocket
45:35and they just gotta spend it just to say oh i got i got money to spend now now we
45:42up against the clock
45:43this is so good i could go on for a whole nother hour but i'm gonna wrap this part up
45:47here
45:47so the biggest thing that i have to say is people when it comes to this whole thing here
45:52leaving money behind and stuff a rhetorical question do you care about your name or do you
45:56care about your legacy because yes you're here today but it's more so important about what happens
46:02tomorrow when you're not here do the generation underneath you do your grandchildren do your
46:07your great-grandchildren do they become something bigger and better than what you are see you're just
46:12here for a short moment in time you know it says that in a good book just for a small
46:17period of time
46:18but it's what impact do you put on somebody else's life so that that name that legacy can carry on
46:24and
46:24become bigger and better than the next this is how you get some of the the the famous people out
46:31here
46:31in the world because it comes that way and then they say okay we have responsibility it's this name
46:37that we're going to carry we have pride and we're going to go ahead and try to do what we
46:41need to do
46:42to keep this name alive so that's that and for the evil people out there maybe it might be ignorant
46:47on your part maybe i'm waking some people up by saying that that is evil and it might be something
46:52new that people haven't heard but check this out there is something that's called regeneration
46:58so if you don't get it right the first time on this earth here on this planet some of us
47:03may have
47:03to do it again and this may not be our first go-around see because when we were born into
47:09this
47:10atmosphere we weren't born into this environment it's the we forget of who we used to be and
47:17between the ages of one to seven that's the most time that you're going to remember what you've done
47:22in your past life so if you do something reckless here it is a possibility and i know this is
47:28not
47:28everybody's belief systems and there's different religions and all of that other stuff but i'm just
47:33saying regeneration is a thing and you could be your spirit could be regenerated into the same
47:43lineage and you could experience poverty because you didn't do what you were supposed to do when
47:48you were here the first time around and you can grow up into a very difficult situation and be raised
47:55in a very difficult situation in order for you to get it right and you'll keep repeating the same
48:00process over and over again and until you get it right and i'm gonna leave on that note and uh
48:08turn
48:09it over to you so we can go ahead and head on up out of here yeah um go ahead
48:15and i guess i don't have
48:17nothing to say about it i mean you know i mean we done said everything that we could have so
48:22i'm just
48:22gonna say hey you can go to amazon or goodreads um birdman 313 um see my books there they're available
