00:09This week I got my makeup done by two YouTube legends.
00:15Sam and Nick Chapman, AKA the Pixie Woos.
00:18I was so excited to have their hands on this face.
00:21It was such a cool experience.
00:23They taught me how to do their go-to nighttime look.
00:26And then I tried to do it myself the following day.
00:34Don't eat that plant. Stop it.

00:45And without further ado, I'll shut up now and let Sam and Nick do the talking.

00:51Let's get started.
00:51Take it away, Nick.
00:52Nick is going to do skin and cheeks and I'm going to do the eyes.
00:57No matter what your skin type, you must moisturise.
01:00I'm still using a primer that has a shine to it because I don't want your skin to look matte.
01:05I just want it to stay in place a bit longer.
01:07My favourite is such a brush.

01:13It's had a facelift.
01:14I am using a By Terry foundation.
01:17It's great because it's got a little shine through it as well.

01:29I love this product.
01:30So I'm just putting this on the high points of the face.

01:34I want it to give you just a nice glow like you've been in the sun.

01:45There's two of us and one of us is left-handed.
01:47I am going to use Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze and Glow and start with the bronze.
01:53I'm going to use this Rebel Edge brush.
01:55And this is a new brush.
01:57I've never used this before.
01:58This is a Rebel Edge brush.
01:59This came about because we were designing brushes and they brought in a prototype of a brush
02:07that had been, when they made it, it hadn't been fully functioned around and we were like,
02:12I love that.
02:13Can you actually make it like that?
02:15I like to use two highlighters as well.
02:18So that goes on first just to give you a slightly pinky tone.
02:21Now I know I spend a long time on skin, but there's a reason.
02:24It looks lovely.
02:25Make me look alright.
02:27Your skin looks amazing.
02:29I don't mind saying so myself.
02:32I'm just using what's left on the brush as a base for the eyeshadow.
02:36Because I'm using shimmery eyeshadows, I want a little bit of the cream to really grab hold of.
02:44Always start with the brush where you want the most colour payoff.
02:48So we're going to start at the lash line and work our way upwards.
02:51That way we get a natural blend towards the brow.
02:54Now I know you're going to recreate this, so I want to make it a little bit challenging.
02:59That's cool.
03:00What trends do you really want to just like go away?
03:04You just don't get them.
03:04I'm so done with liquid lips.
03:06Yeah, I've actually heard a lot of people say that.
03:08What do you hate about them?
03:10I just think that they look really flat.
03:12Yeah.
03:12You know, just really matte, really flat.
03:14I also look like, I just think, lick your lips.
03:16They look so dry.
03:17When you go to do this yourself, I'm using the profile of the brush.
03:21So I'm just putting the product just on the very tip.
03:24Don't overload the brush or you're going to get in a right old mess.
03:27Say British.
03:27I love it.
03:30Now we're going to pop some eyeliner on.
03:32Sometimes your sister just makes too much fall down on your makeup.
03:36She's trying to sabotage me.
03:37I'm just going to push this on with my finger.
03:39Just a little bit of gold.

03:46I like doing eyes because I get bored very easily of doing the same thing.
03:50I just, I like all the colours and all the textures and I'm always mixing things to find something different
03:55and new and exciting.
03:56I think really our blog probably wouldn't have come about without both of our passions for trying out new things.

04:03We always, you know, we'll try things out on ourselves before we go on a shoot.
04:07Just so we have a couple of ideas and then take pictures of it, snaps of it.

04:12And then it became like this thing that it is.
04:15And that's it.
04:16It became this big thing.
04:27And then.
04:28And that's always been what your channel is.
04:30It's always been about that.
04:31It's always been an artistry channel.

04:34I want to pop a little bit of this on your brows.
04:36This is just a still a waterproof brow pencil, but I just want to give you a little bit more
04:41browish.
04:42Ultra rich lip colour.
04:44Tom Ford revolve around me.
04:45Hmm.
04:47Again, keeping it quite soft.
04:50I'm just running a little bit more concealer just down here where it was tidy ups.
04:54Tidying up my sloppy work.
04:56This is exactly why we don't set the skin until right at the end, because we can still go in,
05:01see where things seem to have worked into the skin, where we need more coverage, and correct it.

05:45It's me again, and I am back to tell you about how it went when I tried to do this
05:51look on my own.
05:52So Sam and Nick really broke it down for me because they are amazing individuals.
05:57Not going to lie, I don't think my look came out quite like theirs did, but I did my best.
06:03I started off with just doing my base, trying my best to mimic the really beautiful, glowy skin that Nick
06:08created on me.
06:09I used my own foundations for this, really loaded up on the bronzer, keeping it nice and light using a
06:14fluffy brush.
06:15That was actually pretty easy.
06:17A little odd that NARS Orgasm was used kind of as a highlighter, but I actually really liked the look.
06:23It kind of gave this nice kind of pinky glow.
06:25Then came the kind of harder part, the eyes.
06:29Sam did a really cool, like, smokey, kind of goldish, halo-y eye on me, which looked so gorgeous.
06:38I'm pretty bad at smokey eyes.
06:41So this is a good little exercise in practice makes perfect.
06:45Don't think I got it perfect, but maybe I'll try again next week.
06:48Sam told me to use a taupe shade all over my lid and then deepening it up with some of
06:52the darker shades in the palette
06:53and then following up with a little bit of the gold on my finger, not a brush, on the center
06:58of my lid.
06:59Then I followed up with some eyeliner just to define my eyes a little bit, some mascara.
07:04And then it was time to move on to the rest.
07:08Not going to lie, I'm not sure how well I did on this.
07:10Please let me know in the comments below if you feel the same way that I do about smokey eyes.
07:13But I just kind of called it a day and went on to my eyebrows.
07:17All three of us have had our eyebrows microbladed before.
07:21Stay tuned for a very fun video on that.
07:24So she used this cool eyebrow pen on me from Stila to define my eyebrows.
07:28Like, it's a really cool product because it really sticks on.
07:31And then I moved on to lips.
07:33I don't wear nude lipstick very often so it was fun to kind of pair the smokey eye that I
07:37don't wear very often with a nude lip that I also don't wear very often.
07:40I powdered a little bit using some of my trusty Laura Mercier translucent powder just in the areas that I
07:45need it.
07:45So my T-zone, because Nick was like, let's keep the rest of the skin dewy.
07:50Which is actually kind of nice because I usually powder my face like too oblivious.
07:54Definitely a surreal experience for the books.
