00:00I'm Paul Rasmussen. Numerous flash floods, severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings were issued
00:04Tuesday afternoon, but not in Pittsburgh and its suburbs. The majority of yesterday's storms were
00:10south and north of Allegheny County. In fact, the National Weather Service reposted video of a
00:15tornado briefly on the ground last night in Butler County. It was recorded near Portersville along
00:20Botter School Road. The weather was rough in West Virginia, where late last night the governor
00:25declared a state of emergency for all 55 counties. National Weather Service meteorologist Colton
00:31Milkeric. We had a number of warnings out, you know, as soon as you cross the state line, well down
00:36through central West Virginia. Unfortunately, tragic to hear about all the flooding going on down there
00:42and impacts that they're still going through. Yeah, in addition to the flash flooding landslides and road
00:47closures reported across West Virginia. The first legal challenge has been filed against Pittsburgh's
00:53new youth curfew policy in Market Square. Newsradio KDK's Tamira Rush has that in the newsroom.
00:59Paul, the lawsuit was filed by Renee Wilson in Allegheny County before the case was moved to
01:03federal court. She claims the policy was created without an ordinance, city council approval, public
01:09notice or legal authority. KDK-TV reports Wilson is asking the court to address what she calls an
01:15unwritten curfew and argues the policy violates constitutional protections, including freedom of
01:21movement, freedom of assembly, equal protection and due process. In the newsroom, Tamira Rush News
01:26Radio, KDKA. First came the explosive diarrhea. Now come the lawsuits. ABC's Jim Ryan tells us about
01:33the growing roster of legal claims against a fast food chain linked to an outbreak of illness.
01:38The good news about cyclosporiasis comes from Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
01:43We do have the outbreak under control. The bad news for Taco Bell is that at least four lawsuits have
01:49been filed by people who say they caught the brutal stomach bug after eating at the fast food restaurant.
01:53Up the supply chain, says Kennedy. We and the companies that are involved have implemented a recall.
02:00The CDC is investigating nearly 7,000 confirmed or suspected cases of cyclosporiasis. Jim Ryan, ABC News.
02:07Senator John Fetterman is one of more than a dozen Democrats reintroducing a bill to legalize
02:12marijuana use and expunge non-violent marijuana-related offenses. News Radio KDKA's Paul Alexander has that.
02:20Senator Fetterman said in a statement that he wasn't going to judge anyone for using
02:23marijuana to knock the edge off life. I think your path to wellness should be without judgment
02:28or punishment, legal, safe, and regulated. Two dozen states in Washington, D.C. have legalized
02:33marijuana for recreational use, while medical marijuana is legal in 41 states, including
02:38Pennsylvania. Several attempts in Pennsylvania to legalize recreational use have stalled in
02:43Harrisburg. The bill includes several provisions such as eliminating pre-employment and random
02:48marijuana testing for federal workers. President Trump signed an executive order to reclassify
02:53marijuana as a less dangerous drug. Paul Alexander, News Radio KDKA.
02:58St. Vincent College is preparing to welcome the Steelers and the team's fans to training camp in
03:03one week. College President Father Paul Taylor told KDKA-TV he's optimistic about the new head
03:09coach and quarterback Aaron Rodgers and...
03:11I think that there is the talent and the motivation and now just putting it together at training camp for
03:18the season is the key. Attending training camp is free for Steelers fans, as always, but they must
03:24register for a free ticket to attend the public practices. KDKA Sports brought to you by Nasco

03:38rather in New York was postponed, the Pirates and Yankees are playing a doubleheader today. Mitch Keller
03:43starts for the Bucks in game one and you'll hear it on KDKA Radio starting at 12.05.
