01:44The futures are mixed at this moment.
01:46The Dow is down 538 points.
01:49The S&P is up about 6.
01:50And the NASDAQ is up 353 points.
01:54State Senator Jay Costa is weighing in on new Medicaid rules that could affect thousands of Pennsylvanians.
01:59We have more on that with NewsRadio KDKA's Tamara Rush from the newsroom.
02:03Paul, nearly 26,000 Allegheny County residents could lose Medicaid under new federal rules taking effect January 1st.
02:10Costa discussed the changes on the Big K Morning Show, saying Medicaid remains a priority.
02:15The number of people who are going to roll off of Medicaid and also the hundreds of thousands and 100
02:20,000 people who have already lost health care coverage because of the big, beautiful bill.
02:24We're going to take steps to make health care more affordable along those lines.
02:27Some adults will have to work, volunteer, or attend job training for 80 hours a month.
02:32Eligibility reviews will also increase from once a year to every six months.
02:37Residents can call 211 for assistance.
