00:00If you're looking for a free funnel building software thing, I've actually used two of them.
00:08I've used sender.net for a long time and I've also switched over to system.io.
00:14So I want to kind of share my experience, the pros and cons of both of them and why I
00:20switched.
00:21Hopefully it might be able to help you make a decision.
00:25Okay, so when it comes to funnel building software, they're really kind of cool because you can own something online.
00:34I highly recommend it.
00:36Plus it's free too, so that's also an extra bonus and it can help you make more money online.
00:42Okay, so with my experience, they're both awesome tools.
00:47I used sender for I think it was like a year maybe.
00:50I built a pretty good sized list and again, I kind of broke it down here, the head to head.
00:57It's sender, you can send 15,000 a month.
01:01System.io is unlimited, so that's kind of a cool thing and there's some, I kind of broke it down
01:07here.
01:09Okay, so what I don't like about sender, it's a little bit clunky to use, I really think.
01:15Okay, meaning when you have these messages, you kind of create messages and you kind of preload them up, right,
01:23to be sent out when people opt into your email list.
01:26It looks like this, okay.
01:29But the problem is, this is one page and there's four messages too.
01:34So to go to the very bottom, if you have a lot, you have to scroll for a very long
01:39time.
01:39And it's a lot of work to get to the bottom and what also I don't like about sender is
01:45say you want to add a message in between, like two of them.
01:50Well, you have to be very careful because you can actually delete all of your messages.
01:55So it's a little bit clunky in that regard.
01:57I don't like it, but it does work and it's free.
02:00So that's kind of cool.
02:01So what happened is one day I could not log into sender and I'm like, what the heck is going
02:06on?
02:06I can't log in, I want to, you know.
02:08So I sent them an email and they responded saying that their platform does not support affiliate marketing.
02:14I was like, wow, that's a big bummer.
02:16And I was like, okay, good thing I saved all my messages, which I highly recommend you do too in
02:22case something happens to the platform you use.
02:25So I was like, all right.
02:27So I responded, well, I can't respect your decision, kind of at least have the list so I can move
02:32to another platform that supports my business model.
02:35And then someone responded by saying, well, it's an error.
02:38You can actually log in now, which is true.
02:41I was able to log in, but it was a little bit spooky that I got that, you know, email
02:45and I couldn't log in.
02:46So the first thing I did was, of course, download the list of subscribers in case the website goes dark
02:51or whatever.
02:51And you could do that with Sender.
02:54How I did it is I went to subscribers and then you kind of click on, like, all your subscribers
03:01and you can export to, like, a CSV file, okay.
03:06And that's what you do.
03:07Okay.
03:07So after playing around with it, I kind of said, let me try this system I.O. thing, you know.
03:13I don't like this.
03:14We don't like affiliate marketing type of thing, right.
03:17So I kind of started with system I.O., which they have a free forever plan, okay.
03:21And I played around with it.
03:23And there's some pros and cons to it.
03:24The biggest con that I don't like is with the opt-in page here, you can see it, is you'll
03:32see this Powered by System I.O. dot, right.
03:36It's like a link.
03:37And there's no way to get rid of it.
03:40I used AI and I came up with everything in the book.
03:44And it's, like, hardwired into the free plan.
03:46The only way to get rid of it is you have to upgrade to a paid plan and then you
03:51can get rid of it, okay.
03:53So I don't like it.
03:54I really don't.
03:55But the good news is it's an affiliate link.
03:57So if somebody clicks on that and uses System I.O., you can get some money.
04:02That's the good news.
04:03However, I will say that I do like System I.O.'s opt-in page more than senders.
04:12Here's why.
04:13Well, if you notice, with System I.O., all someone has to do is enter an email address and hit
04:19download.
04:20There's no friction.
04:21With sender, what I had to do was I had to put a box.
04:25It was like a double opt-in.
04:27So there's more friction for someone to opt-in to the list.
04:30And I don't like that.
04:31People are lazy.
04:33We don't want friction.
04:35So with sender, I had to.
04:38And they forced me to do this.
04:39It was put a box saying I confirmed to get newsletters and promotions by sender.
04:46Something like that.
04:47With System I.O., I don't have to do that.
04:49It's just a single opt-in.
04:51Boom.
04:51So I think that's going to help me get more subscribers.
04:54And you as well if you decide to use System I.O.
04:58Okay.
04:59So that's what I like about it.
05:01Okay.
05:01There's less friction to sign up and the less friction, the better.
05:04All right.
05:06A third thing that I like about System I.O. is disclaimer.
05:11Oh, yes.
05:11So on all the messages here, you can just put a disclaimer and it automatically adds it to all of
05:18your little messages.
05:19What I mean by disclaimer is in affiliate marketing, you're supposed to say, you know, this has an affiliate link.
05:25And if you click through it, I get paid something at no extra cost to you.
05:30Something like that.
05:32They've gotten more strict over the years.
05:34Well, I got started, I think it was like 20 years ago.
05:38I'm old.
05:38Okay.
05:39I'm old.
05:39Or maybe it was 50 years ago.
05:41There was no disclaimers.
05:42You could just, it was like the wild west of the internet.
05:44You could do whatever the heck you want.
05:45Now, two.
05:46Nowadays, things are different.
05:47All right.
05:48So that's why I like it behind.
05:50With Sender, I didn't really like it because there's a little more clunkier.
05:53And I put the disclaimer at the top.
05:55And I don't like that.
05:57You know, they want to, you know.
05:59So.
06:00Anyways.
06:02Another really cool thing I like about System.IO is the way the messages are set up.
06:09So with Sender, it was clunky and you had to scroll to the bottom.
06:14With System.IO, it's really easy.
06:16Look at this.
06:17It's that they just got a list.
06:18And it takes you no time at all to scroll to the very bottom if you have a ton of
06:22messages.
06:23And what I really like about it is if you want to add a message in between, it's super easy.
06:29And there's no risk of like deleting every message that you made in all your work.
06:34So this whole system that they have in System.IO, I really prefer over Sender.net.
06:42And another reason I like System.IO is the exit balance.
06:48What I mean by exit balance is if somebody goes to like my website and they're about to leave after
06:53a certain amount of time,
06:54and a little thing will pop up and you're like, hey, you know, and talking about the landing page.
07:02And what's so cool about, well, System.IO is I was able to figure out how to put a video
07:07on that thing.
07:08And a video, I just, you know, people like videos, you know.
07:11It kind of builds a little bit more trust.
07:13I think it's going to help me convert a little bit better.
07:16With Sender, I couldn't figure out how to do that.
07:18I really tried.
07:19I couldn't figure it out.
07:20And it was just a little more clunkier and I don't like it as much.
07:23But it did work.
07:24So Sender does have that.
07:26But I like System.IO's exit balance thing and everything.
07:32So there's the pros and cons of both of them.
07:36And preferably I prefer System.IO.
07:39And what's so cool about System.IO is it has a lot more tools involved.
07:44So you're going to really need a website.
07:46You know, you can get started.
07:47You can collect emails, whether you're doing it through Pinterest or short videos, YouTube or other platforms like Substack.
07:55You can do that.
07:57So it really, really is cool.
08:00And, again, I'll put the link to this whole post that I made with a bunch of resources at the
08:04bottom that helps you in the description and the first comment.
08:08And you might be wondering, okay, well, how do you make money from this funnel building thing or affiliate marketing?
08:14Well, I made a whole video about there's a lot of offers out there.
08:18I think every program has an affiliate offer almost.
08:21Amazon, they all do.
08:23Even eBay.
08:25Almost all of them.
08:26And you can get paid for referring people to various platforms, basically.
08:32And there's a bunch of different business models.
08:35Like you don't even have to – I'll tell you one more thing, which I'm excited about too, is CPA
08:40affiliate marketing, cost per action.
08:42So if somebody fills out a form, they want more information on something, you can get paid.
08:46So they don't even have to reach for their wallet.
08:48So there's all kinds of ways you can make money with affiliate marketing.
08:51It's a wonderful side hustle hobby that you can have fun in.
08:55It can be in almost any niche you want.
08:57If you're into, I don't know, like fishing, yeah, you can make money at it.
09:02Talk about your experience and your stories and whatever you want to do.
09:06But anyways, I'm going off topic.
09:09If you're wondering how exactly do you make money, there's actually high ticket affiliate marketing where, you know, just one
09:15lead, one seller, you can make.
09:17You can make some pretty good cash.
09:19And I actually made a whole video about nine high ticket affiliate offers that you can at least look into
09:25and consider.
09:25You don't have to take any of them.
09:26Like, you can think they're all garbage.
09:28Some of them I think they're really, really cool and interesting.
09:31And I made a whole video about it.
