00:14However, it is a really good idea to consider investing in a domain.
00:20There's a lot of reasons, but the biggest one is it can really improve your deliverability of the emails that
00:27you send.
00:28There are some free options as well, which I want to kind of talk about.
00:32So what's so cool about System.io is the whole autoresponder, as we call it, is completely free.
00:40So you can collect emails for free.
00:43You can send out unlimited emails per month for free.
00:47So you might be wondering, well, that's good, but what's the catch?
00:49Well, the catch is with a free plan, you're required to stick an affiliate link on the landing page,
00:56which you can get paid for.
00:58So I don't think it's that big of a deal, but I don't like it, but that is one catch.
01:03And there's also only one automation with the free tool,
01:07and I kind of made this little tool here so that it kind of breaks it down,
01:10what you get with each free plan, startup plan, and stuff like that, with System.io.
01:18Now, collecting emails is a really good thing to do, and there's so many reasons.
01:24But for starters, these platforms, they change all the time.
01:29So if you build your entire business on TikTok, right, like you have a TikTok shop,
01:34and TikTok changes rules or goes away, your whole business is gone.
01:38And I actually went to this training class with TikTok shop,
01:42and the teacher was on the verge of losing her shop due to violations.
01:47She was like on the cusp there.
01:49So it's kind of like building a house on a solid foundation than sand.
01:55So for having a domain, it's a good, good investment.
02:00And I even know a place where you can get a domain for 99 cents.
02:02So you own something online.
02:04Nobody can take that from you and take it from me,
02:07and I've built a whole business on Reddit.
02:10I had a big old Reddit group, and on a Sunday,
02:13I went outside to go enjoy the outdoors, and someone made this post.
02:18I don't even know what it was.
02:19Monday, the whole group was gone.
02:21They said there was no moderation.
02:23I was like, hey, you know, give me another chance.
02:25Like, no, you're done.
02:27It was gone.
02:28All the work gone.
02:29So these platforms change all the time,
02:31and having, you know, collecting leads is one of the most valuable things that you can do, okay?
02:38All right.
02:39Another way is you can make more money with the list.
02:41You know, you can send more emails.
02:43You can share multiple products in your niche and thus earn more money
02:49and improve your closing rate as well.
02:51Those are just some benefits.
02:53You can even make money off the list.
02:56So there's lots of benefits.
02:58There's solo ads.
02:59You know, you can go on and on and on.
03:01And what's so cool is a lot of these autoresponders are free.
03:06When I got started a long time ago, they all cost a lot of money, okay?
03:09Because they have to maybe compete with other products out there.
03:13Okay.
03:14So, what are the drawbacks, okay, of a free account with System.io?
03:20Okay.
03:20You can build a business for 100% free.
03:23You don't have to spend a penny, okay?
03:25However, there are some limitations.
03:28The biggest one is you can't set up custom DNS records.
03:33So if you send emails with, like, a free address, like a Yahoo or a Gmail or whatever,
03:40there's a very high chance that your emails will more likely get bounced, get blocked,
03:46or landing in a spam folder because it's not from a custom domain.
03:50I guess the email providers don't like that if you're sending emails, okay?
03:56So that's why with this place, you can get a domain for 99 cents, you know, for the first year.
04:00And, I mean, it greatly increases your chance of your emails landing so they get seen and clicked on and
04:07you get sales.
04:09Plus, there's other benefits, like, it builds trust.
04:11You build SEO value.
04:14You can actually put ad networks and tracking on your website and you can make money with ads, right?
04:21That's really cool.
04:21And there's a tool called Pretty Links, which I love.
04:24Completely free, right?
04:25And what Pretty Links does is it allows you to turn ugly links into pretty ones and track them.
04:33And there's also a big benefit, too.
04:35So I'll give you an example of this.
04:37Say you're with an affiliate product and they change or cancel you and you put those affiliate links everywhere.
04:44Instead of going, oh, that's a bummer.
04:47With Pretty Links, all you've got to do is change one thing and it updates all the links that you
04:51set out for a brand new product so you don't lose money.
04:55So it's an amazing thing, but you need a website to have it, okay?
04:59All right.
05:00Yeah, you own something online, okay?
05:05So how I got started is I used, like, a free email tool called Sender.
05:12And after a little bit of time, Sender, like, blocked my account for some reason.
05:16So then, because I was using affiliate marketing, they kind of closed me down.
05:20So that's why I was like, oh, that's a bummer.
05:22So then I moved to System.io.
05:23And I think System.io is just a much better platform, you know, that you can make money online, okay?
05:32All right.
05:33So you might be thinking, okay, well, that sounds good, Kevin.
05:35But, you know, with System.io, how do you make money off of that?
05:38Well, there's a lot of ways, but the easiest way is with affiliate marketing.
05:43What's so cool is nearly every company has an affiliate program.
05:46Like, say, Amazon.
05:47You think of a website or a company, there's a good chance they do, you know, and all you do
05:54is refer people and you get paid.
05:57There's no customer service or shipping, stuff like that.
05:59There's even the ways you can make money if someone fills out a form for more information, you know?
06:04And without reaching for their wallet, you get paid.
06:07So there's a lot of ways to make money in that.
06:11And you can do it in almost any niche, which is a lot of fun as well, okay?
