00:04why are you talking about Deshaun and Shador or who are frustrated or a pro
00:07one way, the other,
00:09I think we are going to end up having a pretty interesting and entertaining
00:13quarterback battle.
00:14I hope so.
00:15I hope it's not just a, you know,
00:17it's where I think you're getting out of this and maybe where it's stemming
00:21from is the idea that like yesterday,
00:22I asked Ashley the question,
00:24something along the lines of like who's in the lead or something like that.
00:27But I prefaced it of it seems like Deshaun is in the lead.
00:30Do you agree that it seems like right now, Deshaun,
00:32if you talk to people, that's, that's where it's at.
00:34And she's like, no, I think it's Shador.
00:35And it's like that,
00:35that I think is what's going to drive all this is that any given day,
00:39we're not going to have a conclusive answer and it's not going to be obvious.
00:42And there's going to be so many different opinions and people that at least
00:46feel they know one way or another.
00:48Well, and I think there's going to be a definitive Shador camp.
00:50And that's not, that's not just Shador fans, by the way,
00:53that is Browns fans that want to see Shador starred.
00:57And then I think there's going to be a Deshaun camp.
00:59And then I think there's going to be a swath of people in the middle that
01:03truly wants what I think Todd Munkin is going to want,
01:05which is who's going to give the, give us the best chance to win.
01:08And I think anytime you have three camps like that,
01:12and every day there'll be a different report of who looked better or who the
01:16media thought looked better, or Munkin is going to say something.
01:19I think what to right now, like I, I, there was a point and thank God the
01:23LeBron thing happened.
01:23There was a point where people were Shador and Deshaun out.
01:27And I understand that I really do because there's nothing new there.

01:33And, and that is like one of the things that the NFL has trained all of us
01:38fans are that new is the thing you're chasing.
01:41If it can't be great, it's gotta be new, right?
01:44There's always something follow the bouncing ball aspect of the NFL and how
01:49they specifically treat quarterbacks.
01:53I think that's going to change on what is it?
01:55July 28th or July 27th when veterans report.
01:58And all of a sudden this becomes a real, a real thing.
02:01I think, I think the stakes are going to flare up pretty quickly for people.

02:05but I think the new part of this that is people are going to be able to see
02:08now we have eight camps that are open for the public.
02:10So they'll be able to see with their own eyes.
02:12And I do think that helps a lot of this discussion.
02:14So while we're talking about the Browns and their quarterback decision and what
02:19they'll make, James Palmer was on his bleach report spot there and,
02:23and talked about one reason the Browns could be motivated to play Deshaun
02:27Watson.
02:28Deshaun Watson seems to be the leader in the clubhouse.
02:31From my understanding,
02:32why would they do that with the contract kind of expiring?
02:34It's essentially this.
02:35It's very similar to the Colts with Anthony Richardson.
02:37You hate to see a guy picked near the top of the draft with a ton of talent,
02:40go play well in another building.
02:42So they want to get one,
02:42maybe fun final look on the $230 million they spent on Deshaun Watson,
02:46the draft picks they gave up on Deshaun Watson and go,
02:49let's see if we can in the last year here,
02:51if he can actually play,
02:52we hate to see him not really give him a full honest chance.
02:55And then he goes somewhere else and plays great.
02:57I mean, man, that'd be so Browns,
02:58but that'd be what every other team tries to avoid is a quarterback going,
03:01playing well in another building.
03:03And guess what?
03:03If Deshaun Watson doesn't play well,
03:04if he wins the job,
03:05doesn't play well,
03:06is it the worst thing in the world for the Browns to be top near the draft in,
03:09in 2027 when they desperately need that quarterback of the future?
03:12So here's where I think he's right.
03:14I do think Deshaun being in this quarterback battle,
03:18whether he's at the lead,
03:19whether he's not the lead,
03:20I don't know.
03:21I haven't been there every day.
03:22I don't even know Todd Munkin knows right now.

03:25pads weren't on things change.
03:27Things get real when pads go on.
03:29I do think that the Browns look at this and say,
03:32let's get one last look,
03:34just remove any remaining doubt because you,
03:38it's easy for an organization.
03:39If they don't have something new to turn the page to,

03:43to live in their fears of,

03:45are we going to look even worse if he goes elsewhere and plays well?
03:47But when that same logic apply to your door as well,

04:05And so I just as much of a chance and opportunity as to Sean would like if

04:10if to Sean doesn't play this upcoming year,
04:13any team going to let them just start for their squad in 2027.

06:07And the idea that there was 700 days off in between for Vick,

06:13But like if Deshaun Watson goes elsewhere next year and has a decent

06:21what did you do wrong?

06:24I think the Browns are in a little bit at fault with the Stefanski offense and
06:28not just building a completely new offense around Deshaun from jump.
06:32I think that complicated Deshaun side of things.
06:35I also think Deshaun where he was mentally complicated where this thing
06:40was.
06:41And then I think the ultimate complication was too massive.

06:45just disastrous injuries,
06:47either one,
06:48which could have ended his career.
06:49So like whether it's circumstantial individual blame,
06:52if he goes elsewhere and does something interesting in the future,

06:57those five years really were just that bad of luck.
06:59The worst case of everything out of everybody.
07:02I don't know that it's going to be a bad reflection on the Browns.
07:05And I don't even know it's going to be a bad reflection on Deshaun at this
