02:24Especially because that bye doesn't, it's not like at the start of November.

03:09Yeah, well, I think probably it's just, we've seen so much bad quarterback play.
03:14And we've also seen very few times where a QB has even been able to do it in the fourth.
03:21To pick up things in the fourth of a game that looks, a relevant game.
03:26A game early in the season where, you know, every game is life or death.
03:30And teams are battling for the playoffs.
03:31I know, you know, you win games at the end of the year when it's that zombie portion of the
03:35schedule.
03:35In this case, you know, Carolina was the, Bryce Young was one of the hot commodities.
03:41One of the stories of the league the first two weeks.
03:44So to have a chance to beat that team that seemed to have all that momentum, we just hadn't seen
03:49that.
03:50Other than Deshaun in the fourth quarter, the second half of that Baltimore game.
03:55But that seems like an eternity ago.
03:57So we just haven't seen any of that.
03:59So I think the bar was so low that winning two straight weeks in the fourth quarter, that did amount
04:06to something for a lot of fans.
04:07And are there people who are afraid to buy in?
04:12Like, to buy in is a big, big ask of someone emotionally.
04:16Are there people not afraid to buy in?
04:18They're just not going to buy in because they haven't seen enough yet.
04:20Like, if this thing takes off to 6-1 or something like that, maybe they would.

04:43I don't think that that's happened.

05:16Zach doesn't sugarcoat anything, so he comes off as a downer.
05:19And so he can be a little bit of a punch in the face when it comes to what he
05:23feels is being realistic.
05:25He doesn't have a good bedside manner.
05:27And so when you're 2-1, you just won a big game, you're getting ready for Thursday Night Football, another
05:33big game against a team that everybody hates, and a guy comes on, who knows what he's talking about, and
05:39says that he still doesn't think that he's going to be the starter by the time the bye week comes
05:43around.
05:43Yeah, it's going to get people a little bit riled up.
05:45Well, there is one unknown that we have here, I guess a combination, the young wide receivers, new offensive line,
05:51but Munkin, right?
05:52We had seen that ship kind of sail with Stefanski where we thought, there's nothing redeemable here.
05:58It's not going to get better for Watson.
05:59Well, if it were Stefanski, he wouldn't be playing.
06:01Right, right.
06:01Well, we talked about it yesterday.
06:02But what are the odds the 10-year vet, which is what Watson is now, is actually going to get
06:09better than the version we see right now?
06:12Can Munkin slow it down?
06:14Can he also figure out the things that Watson can still do, and I think him running with his feet
06:22last week, and a few of the times, he actually kind of took off.
06:26I know he got tracked down on the one that people brought up by the defensive end.
06:29He also had another one where it wasn't vintage Watson, but holy cow, he was sprinting down the field, and
06:35I didn't know he could do that post-surgeries.
06:38So, is the head coach, the offensive staff, are they figuring out, oh, he can do a little bit more
06:44than we thought he could do?
06:45I'm not sure.
06:46And can they grow into that?
06:47I'm not sure about that.
06:48I think they might have asked him, because remember, they had to shorten down some of the things there.
06:53So, I think that they thought maybe he could do more than what he was capable of anymore, and then
06:58they had to shorten that down.
06:59I'm talking about with his feet, though.
07:01Now, with his, well, yeah, but they had design runs in training camp.
07:04I think he has surprised them, because he's definitely surprised me, as somebody who used to be a big-time
07:09Deshaun Watson advocate.
07:10I didn't think he could even roll off some of the runs that he's had so far this year.
07:15I did not think he could do that.

07:17So, he has kind of surprised me by virtue of some of the ball skills, like those pump fakes.
07:24I didn't think he'd be moving in quicksand or anything like that, though.
07:27See, I did.
07:28Wow.
07:28And I've seen some of the mechanics of those pump fakes to keep linebackers at bay.
07:34Like, that's Mahomesian.
07:35He's not Mahomes.
07:36But you get what I'm saying?
07:37Like, he is starting to figure out what he can do.
07:40And the more starts he gets, maybe the confidence level improves, and he, working alongside the staff, can come up
07:47with,
07:48because this is not the version of Deshaun from eight years ago, seven years ago.
07:51That guy's gone.
07:52So, if there were any delusions that that guy isn't, that's so far gone.
07:56He doesn't have that arm strength.
07:58He doesn't have that athletic ability.
08:00There's more elusiveness than I thought there would be.
