A seven-year-old boy, Angadveer, was allegedly murdered in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut. Police arrested a bank manager who is accused of killing the child to conceal an alleged extramarital relationship with the boy's mother.

Investigators claim the accused lured the child into his car with the promise of chocolates, took him to Hastinapur forest and allegedly murdered him before abandoning the body. CCTV footage reportedly helped police arrest the suspect within 24 hours.

The tragedy has left Ramraj village in mourning, with the victim's family saying they had been trying to reunite the child's parents for his future.
