00:00Hello there, good morning.
00:02Some Sunday sunshine is on its way for some of us today.
00:05It's certainly going to be a dry day for all, but perhaps a bit more cloud around compared
00:09to what we saw yesterday afternoon.
00:11Now there are some lingering showers across the far north of Scotland, they'll drift their
00:15way southwards and largely become quite isolated, turning much drier and brighter by the afternoon.
00:21And it's a similar story across Northern Ireland, a cloudy start here but then brightening up
00:25by the afternoon.
00:26Now we've got this wedge of cloud across northern central parts of England and Wales, and this
00:31could be thick enough to produce the odd light shower, though you'll be very unlucky if you
00:36catch one.
00:36For most, it's a dry, settled day with bright, if not sunny spells, though like I say a bit
00:41more cloud around perhaps compared to yesterday, creating more hazier spells of sunshine.
00:47Now it's going to feel warm in some areas, particularly in light winds.
00:50North Devon Coast, for example, we could reach temperatures of around 25 to 26 degrees Celsius.
00:55Also, western areas of Scotland will see a much warmer day compared to yesterday, that's
01:00quite a similar story across Northern Ireland, North West England, also parts of Wales and
01:04South West England too.
01:05So a warm day ahead, but elsewhere temperatures are round about average for this time of year.
01:10Now heading through into the evening, once again plenty of late evening sunshine, it should
01:15be a dry night, a mix of cloud, also some clearer skies.
01:18We'll eventually start to see cloud thicken up across parts of Wales, South West England,
01:21some showers starting to move through here through the early part of the morning.
01:25Also across parts of Wales, particularly in the west, in the south, also many areas of
01:29Devon and Cornwall, temperatures aren't going to drop too much.
01:32It's actually going to be quite a warm night here, perhaps seeing around the mid-single figures
01:36as overnight lows.
01:37But elsewhere across Scotland, northern central parts of England, Northern Ireland as well,
01:42it's going to be quite a cool night and quite a fresh start to the new working week.
01:46Now once again on Monday, high pressure still mostly dominates, so another dry, settled day,
01:51lots of sunshine still, that's away from the south-west though, cloudier here and we'll
01:56start to see showers push their way north-eastwards, the odd heavy downpour and also we could hear
02:01the odd rumble of thunder, but once it starts to clear the far south-west, it will be in
02:06improving pictures, a little bit blustery too if you catch any of the heaviest downpours.
02:11But once again similar temperatures, still feeling warm in the sunshine, highs reaching around
02:1524, maybe 25 degrees Celsius.
02:17Western areas of Scotland, once again we'll see another warm, settled day.
02:22Just once again quite a lot of cloud in some western areas and some showers in the south-west.
02:27Now this is a very similar picture to what we'll see in the coming days.
02:30There will be some unsettled weather, some clouds, some rain, some showers depending on
02:35whereabouts you are, but actually we're going to start to see temperatures increase day
02:39by day, particularly across parts of the south and south-east.
02:43By Wednesday we start to introduce a bit of a warm plume of air, so from Wednesday onwards
02:47temperatures will start to get rather warm, if not quite hot in parts of the south-east.
02:52But of course for more updates on that, don't forget you can subscribe to our YouTube channel.
02:56and we'll see you next time.
