01:00and Hunter trying to make moves on Webb from third if you're Honda HRC this is exactly where you want
01:06to start if you're Jett Lawrence this is where you wanted to be at Hunter actually got a great jump
01:10out of that gate but he got out pulled by younger brother Jett Lawrence and Hunter firing around the
01:16outside that'll set him up on the inside here around Webb yeah not quite enough they put a little
01:21bit of water on the track in certain spots but uh come Hunter Lawrence I've seen this this story
01:26before if I allow my brother to get out front he's going to be hard to beat so I expect
01:29Hunter Lawrence
01:30is going to try to do everything carefully to get around that number two Cooper Webb and then shout out
01:35to Dylan Ferrandez there in fourth Plessinger coming back after a rough weekend last time out at
01:41Hanktown's fifth and Deegan has been shuffled to six but quickly making moves and I mean quickly he's already
01:46running around Webb and up to Hunter yeah hey Deegan some great passes getting around his teammate Cooper
01:51Webb he knows he needs to follow these guys said he learned a lot last weekend right to race him
01:55with
01:55the Lawrence since that first moto he's going to learn a lot today of this first moto as well
02:00Coonan is seven and listen to this crowd
02:09well it's the battle everyone wanted to see Deegan bringing the hype into this class we've seen huge
02:13crowds at these first three races and there's fans in both directions there's fans that want to see
02:19him win there's fans that want to see him get beat and he started with the Lawrence so we're going
02:23to
02:23see which way it goes yeah hey Deegan definitely is one of the fan favorites out here good or bad
02:28but
02:28he's doing a great job at you know keeping these guys preoccupied as he makes a small mistake right
02:33there I think with hate he's just got to keep the pressure on you know not necessarily trying to pass
02:38him at the moment but just let him know especially with Hunter Lawrence as he looks like he's going to
02:41go up the inside of his brother right here yeah some struggles for Jett so here comes Hunter

02:52this is close yeah this is really close last weekend I talked about if Hunter had the pace
02:57probably Jett will let him buy him I don't know if he's going to do that here because Hunter's been

03:01all day long when you look at that second practice Hunter looked comfortable
03:04more like the hunter we saw at the first race so Jett's going to have to do a good job
03:08at keeping
03:09him at bay we know how that game goes battle back here is Coonan working on Webb for fourth
03:15that's in the bottom box get Hunter still battling for the lead wow Lucas made some great passes that
03:22opening lap he was able to get around both teammates Jorge Prada and Aaron Flessinger so
03:26looks like he's got the pace and he can get around Cooper Webb maybe he has a chance while still
03:31early to
03:31catch on to the back he's got
03:36Deegan hanging in there with hunter as for Jett Lawrence yes he got the win last weekend but I
03:44think everyone is wondering with that foot and ankle injury will it be track to track will he be better
03:50some weekends and not as good as others so you never know in these first photos exactly what you're
03:56going to get Deegan looking to take advantage he's all over Hunter now yeah hey there's certain parts
04:01of this racetrack that I would say he's not as good in here and this this um part that we
04:07just went
04:07through Hayden's able to close in so it's gonna be hard one thing here in Colorado with these long
04:12ruts it's really hard to be up on a guy because you can't see as you can see Hayden kind
04:16of gives
04:17him the gap I think he's more doing that so he can have that vision because as I mentioned the
04:21ruts
04:21aren't very long easy to make a mistake Lucas Coonan oh wait a minute Prado's back Prado on the inside
04:28can he make the move on his teammate for the day and he does nice pass by Jorge I think

04:35that was Aaron Plessinger oh that's Plessinger sorry you're right Coonan's moved ahead of his group
04:39yeah I talked to Plessinger real quick this morning Ritzar's sword had a big flick in the first turn
04:45last week but he said man I don't want to miss this one so he's out here maybe not quite

04:50percent Hampshire and March Banks coming through next oh here it is another move by Hunter for the
04:58lead got it this time no Jets fighting back yeah Jets gonna have the momentum I don't think Hunter's
05:05gonna be able to squeeze unless if he hits the brakes square them up great racing between the
05:10brothers and Deegan shadowing them the whole way oh these boys are going that is sorry Pops gonna be
05:16awkward at the dinner table right now and Hunter oh I thought he had it but not quite enough
05:25Jett was able to weather that storm yeah Hunter had that pass but Jett had that momentum and he just
05:30drag raced him so all this is doing is keeping that number 38 come hey Deegan this is exactly what
05:35I want and if you look in that background right there is hey it's a little far on the inside

05:39there looks like Lucas Coonan that made his pass JT guys I know the battle for the front's heating up
05:45but look at Hayden Deegan I love what we're seeing from him because if you look he has just progressively
05:50gotten more and more aggressive last week in the first moto was a step forward this is even another
05:55he's actually applying pressure instead of having pressure applied to him yeah JT and this is a tough
06:01spot for Hunter I'd imagine right James oh really tough I mean he was so focused on Jett and this
06:06is the
06:07strong side where I feel like Hayden is really good now we're going to get past this jump the last
06:11couple laps they've been able to open this up but at the same time you see Hunter he's got to
06:16back it
06:16off here it is Deegan makes a run James looks like he's going to get it but this is off
06:20camera Hunter
06:21should have the outside which is going to put him on the inside Hunter's just got to get through this
06:25corner clean eight going around outside as we say that they're almost getting back on Jett Lawrence this
06:30month unreal racing between the three Hunter around the outside with Jett he got oh they almost made
06:36contact and that's enough for Deegan to make the move that's exactly what you were talking about
06:40Jason where Hunter's in a tough spot now if I'm Hayden Deegan I'm going to attack Jett right now because
06:45Jett probably doesn't know it's Hayden behind him he probably thinks his brother which means he knows
06:51Hunter's not going to like run it in on him Hayden Deegan will so Jett's got to pay attention to
06:55that
06:56you're going to hear that 38 Yamaha behind it wide open almost three wide over the finish
07:07this is what everyone wanted to see Deegan able to make the move on Hunter Hunter going back after him
07:14now Hayden's been really strong on this part of his racetrack so so let's see if he can close up
07:18to Jett Hunter's losing a little bit of tow which is only going to help Hayden Dale to Moore go
07:23offensive on Jett Lawrence
07:32Deegan's got different lines
07:35yeah for the moment they've opened a little gap on Hunter so it's Jett Lawrence can he hold off Deegan
07:41who's riding well now we've seen Jett in the past I would say this is kind of fool's gold
07:48in a little bit meaning Jett takes a couple laps to get going and once he gets going he starts
07:53stretching his gap out so they understand they got to close that gap on him if I'm Hayden Deegan
07:58as Hunter Lawrence is starting to lose the pace a little bit with these guys
08:03there's so much strategy in the way the Lawrence's race and energy management of when they go fast and
08:08when they wait it's so hard to know exactly what you're getting with wonderful gears with Jett but he
08:13maintains these small leads but right now he is absolutely under fire here it comes Hayden Deegan
08:20hanging it out almost got it yeah you see how those lines play out like it gets on the camera
08:26angle Hayden has it in the beginning part but he goes a long ways around and at this point let's
08:31just let's not be kidding ourselves Hayden Deegan at this moment like yeah he's in it for the championship
08:35but what do you really want to be able to pass that number one what that'll do for his confidence
08:39move forward now he knows he has that pace he can beat those guys and this is the section he's
08:44been
08:44really strong at oh this is it right now that's loving in action
09:03JT I just watched the mechanics boards there and uh Brent Hayden Deegan's mechanic put breathe on the
09:08pit board I was expecting breathe the waiter attack now because I think right now he has a chance to
09:14get in on Jett if Jett settles in that's the worst thing that can happen to Hayden so I actually
09:18kind
09:18of disagree with the mechanics bit board there well they're playing the long game in their own way JT I
09:24asked his mechanic look they work on a lot of things during the week to adapt to the 450 and
09:28I said but
09:29how do you make sure what happens during the week actually happens on race day and he said I put
09:34it on
09:34the board and Hayden does read the board every lap a lot of riders do not they are very focused
09:39on
09:40the notes during the week that are made will be on that board and follow it yeah but you know
09:45in this
09:45moment right there I don't think Hayden's looking Hayden's like breathe we barely got oxygen up here
09:50what are you talking about will that's right it's tough breathing up here James going back Jason to
09:55what you were saying about what they're working on in the week talking to Brent Duffin myself today as
09:59well so this is a lot about him getting used to the 450 and a lot of that James is
10:05going to be
10:05deciding what gives you he's used to that kind of wide open high rev style of racing racing that we
10:10have seen him do in the 250s now for many years and getting out of that rhythm of doing that
10:16breaking
10:16a habit as Brent put it has been the most challenging thing but he said actually the
10:20altitude is going to make that tougher so this potentially the biggest test for him James do
10:25you agree with that is his altitude conditions it going to make keeping those revs low tricky for him
10:31yeah yes and no but I also feel like with the altitude because we are at elevation it's going to
10:35make the bike slower so it's going to make him feel more like he did on the 250 so he's
10:40going to be able to
10:40hang it out which we're seeing it and I think Hayden's doing a good job as Jett throws that foot
10:45out because he wants to get in his run now Hayden's been the strongest in this last segment he's been
10:49four laps in a row quicker than Jett but as I mentioned Jett's starting to get comfortable and
10:54you can see one corner he's getting that gap so back to what you're saying altitude yes but I think
10:59Hayden he's a young kid he wants to go out there no matter how he gets it done well yeah

11:04mentioned confidence oh no Deegan lost the back end almost sent it off the side of the track
11:10and now Hunter's right there yeah if it's double the trouble you got one getting away you got the
11:15next one I think what Hunter was doing is found what he did that first moto last weekend sitting
11:19back as you can see these little white pebbles on this racetrack there's a lot of rocks here today
11:24so Hunter's probably sitting back getting away from that roost letting this thing settle down and try
11:30to attack and preoccupy Hayden at the moment but Deegan quickly able to get back away just a bit up
11:37to the top of the hill
11:41do we have enough data already to say that this is an improvement for Deegan even over last week
11:46what do you think yeah I mean it's the kid's going to improve every single weekend yes he's up here
11:51fighting and he's been fighting he's the only one really that's been able to fight these two guys
11:55besides the first lap the second moto so Lucas is doing a great job as we'll highlight him right now
12:01but
12:01I think let's finish let's see how this moto goes that's where it's really going to play out how
12:05much is he's gotten better because Hayden has the speed he can run up the pace of Jet Lawrence
12:10Hunter Lawrence any lap just whether he can do it over 30 minutes and as for Coonan here solid in
12:16court did race in America last year at motocross of nations but this is first pro motocross race
12:22they raced in Latvia for MXGP last Sunday flew to California rode a bit there two days this week
12:29and had to drive the motorcycles out to the KTM shop in California to get him ready to race as
12:36they say and he's doing well right now back to this Deegan about a second off of Lawrence yeah this
12:44fight
12:44we're gonna find out to speed wise on on Hayden Deegan sometimes when you make a mistake and drop back
12:49especially on this racetrack when you're too close to the guy you can't see so sometimes those mistakes
12:54are made because you're so close now he's gonna have an opportunity to go but I believe Hayden
12:59I think he made a mistake yeah I think he was off the track JT yeah I was just gonna
13:04I was just gonna
13:05compliment Hayden on the resilience of that lap being able to close back in on Jet immediately goes
13:10right back off the racetrack and we had the same setup we had a lap ago where Hunter's all over
13:14him
13:14yet again yeah look like he got off balance in one of those runs I thought he was going to
13:19go down
13:19but then we just saw him off the side of the track here it is yeah we're gonna get down
13:23you can notice
13:24all these ruts I'm assuming yeah he starts losing the front end does a great job a really good save
13:29right there this track is a lot of off camera so the corners are always falling away from me it's
13:34hardly any flat ground around this racetrack and once you start getting leading one way it's easy to
13:39continue going that way and once again quickly able to shed the pressure from Hunter to the kid
13:4920-year-old two-time 250 champ hanging tough
13:54yeah now this if Hayden's able to close back up on Jet I think that's the improvement that you'll be
14:00able to see and I believe no matter how this race ends he's able to do that Hayden's gonna start
14:04believing like okay I got the pace not only I'm just not hanging with him I'm able to make a
14:09mistake
14:09lose that time and gain it back which means next time I've been there I'll just calm down a little
14:14bit
14:14let this thing go because I have the pace as you can see him he's starting to make a few
14:18mistakes
14:18I believe a lot of that's coming to him changing his lines track hasn't fully developed but Hayden's
14:23doing a good job he's gonna have that number 96 on him in the moment if he doesn't get it
14:27going yeah
14:28this has become the yo-yo battle he makes the mistake Hunter closed in he pulls away a little
14:32bit makes another mistake Hunter gets him again and it is on for second yeah Hayden switched his line
14:38up if you notice he was on the outside now he went to the inside and swearing like that you
14:44know
14:44being a rookie and not really understand I wouldn't say not understanding but really trying to learn how
14:49these guys race because Hayden clearly he's still right there on jet but sometimes you get nervous
14:53as this mechanic said you need to breathe calm back down and it's hard to do that when you got
14:58another
14:59brother coming up on you putting that pressure on you yeah this is about the closest Hunter has been
15:04going up consistently for about 10 minutes now deep breath since Brett Duffy the mechanic
15:16Oh Hunter supplying it now yeah Hunter's definitely applying it and I wonder is Hunter gonna get a signal
15:24from his pitbull because if you look in the background that number the guy in fourth place it's starting to
15:29come up
15:30he was the fastest guy on the racetrack right now he is starting to catch these guys so Hunter probably
15:34understands maybe I can't sit back like I did last weekend and because I'm gonna have Lucas on me but
15:40nonetheless all three of these guys are riding great on a challenging racetrack
15:44it's really this section right here where Deegan is able to shed that pressure from Hunter just a little bit
15:50half of the last few laps and the 96 able to close back in
15:54yeah I think a lot of that hey we've got an interesting line right here on the far inside
15:58um but sometimes like in that open part there's so many rocks here I think Hunter's probably sitting
16:04back or if he's trying to change up his line he's not able to follow but as we say that
16:08wait a minute
16:09he's right back to jet and we're only halfway through this moto quick reminder to stock up on monster
16:16energy not sure if jet Lawrence made a mistake or what it was but Deegan is right back in the
16:22fight
16:23yeah that was I mean right back in it yeah really really quickly uh yeah we got to catch keep
16:30an eye
16:31on that well certainly there's always a concern with jet and the crowd senses this three-way battle on
16:36again you're always watching maybe aggravates the injury you got to worry about that you're gonna
16:44check it with the monster energy riders out there you got Deegan second March makes up to six
16:47we're back to eight and it is about as close between these three as it was in the first half
16:54now this is one area where I know they're brothers and they're racing against each other but sometimes
16:59you can work together if Hunter knows hate starting to close up on my brother then I need to get
17:04up on
17:04hate and keep them preoccupied how hate was doing me earlier maybe make a mistake and notice everybody's
17:10starting to start to tighten up here that's where hate's been really quick after this finish line so
17:17see if he can do that in another lap in a row oh this is great racing for sure and
17:25still 13 minutes
17:26and two laps to go Deegan is right in it there's Coonan yeah he is inching up just a bit
17:37gap was a
17:38little closer to eight seconds now it's down to 7.1 will they're doing an incredible job right now
17:46Jason as he said James I got a little question for you here you may not realize how much of
17:51an important
17:51part you've actually played in the Coonan twins being over here but talking to them yesterday about
17:58them describing this as their dream to race in America they said that that started in 2013 watching
18:05you race forward in a supercross race they thought it was the most exciting thing they'd ever seen and
18:10at that point they decided they wanted to race dirt bikes their dad actually a four-wheel racer so they
18:15did a little bit of go-kart racing too so I just wanted to let you know James the fact
18:20that they're here
18:20we're seeing oh wow thanks thanks for that mistake by hate and I'm kind of getting a little choked up
18:28that's an honor that both these brothers are over here and they look up to me so really cool oh
18:35Deegan's
18:35got another problem and now Cooning is five I was going for the lead hustling and now two crashes
18:44yeah that's that's easy can happen the first one he's just trying to push it on a track that's
18:48really slippery and that second one's probably just a little lack of focus and difficult this
18:53racetrack is but he's still in four right now JT guys I'm a little upset that Hayden went down
19:00because I wanted you guys to see this line the next lap at the top of the hill he is
19:04using an inside
19:05and I'm not an AMA official so I'm not going to say that this line is out of balance but
19:09he's
19:09dangerously close to being so well I think Hunter picked up on it last lap we'll see if he goes
19:14there
19:14Jet has not seen it so when they come around it's at the very top of the hill Hayden is
19:19going farther
19:19inside than anybody and I think a couple of track parkers got blown off the track allowing him to go
19:24inside of the berm he was making up huge amounts of time every lap I think that would have been
19:29the
19:29difference yeah that's what I was saying earlier he's got an interesting line up there but
19:36yeah this is on the very top of the hill now watch Hayden he's going to go you see those
19:39track
19:39markers lay it down now he's able to get on the gas he's on the inside of there's
19:44a little a burn right there that's a lot of time made up and one of the reasons best made
19:49up is
19:49because he has something to bank off of clearly he's able to make a lot of time on these guys
19:57but the damage done with the two crashes fourth and there was so much wondering of where Lucas
20:02Coonan would sit fit into this group man he's two seconds closer now another half second closer
20:09so that he's made up over three seconds I'd say the last two laps now he is coming
20:14uh he's got a great pace and I think if you notice Jack kind of took a couple looks back
20:19so not sure what's going on if he's looking where Hayden is or whatnot and Hunter Lawrence
20:25I'm assuming he's not going to sit behind him if he can he's not going to do what he did
20:29last week and he understands he needs to try to pass him because there's a guy in yellow gear
20:33a little throwback to Roger DeCosta coming up right now yeah Lucas Coonan on the gas Hunter Lawrence
20:39this is his time to go
20:49still great racing between the brothers as they try to suss each other out and what makes it so interesting
20:56I
20:56mentioned there's so much strategy in the way they race but they also know each other's strategy so it's even
21:02harder to figure out what's happening when they're racing each other yeah this is a dynamic between
21:09brothers um I'm more curious how Jett's feeling and Willie he understands that Hunter's probably has
21:17that pace if Hunter almost goes down will he hold him up at this point because clearly Hunter has that
21:23pace
21:23and Jett's kind of got something else going on but as we say that one mistake that gap comes but
21:28look at that
21:29number 104 in the background he is there he is coming
21:35and I would imagine at this point I don't know if they know that maybe it's on the board but
21:40you've got a figure they were battling Deegan
21:44and he didn't see 104 he was eight seconds back and there he is yeah and what's impressive about what
21:49Lucas is doing
21:50he didn't have a toe so they were just far enough away from him that he didn't have that rabbit
21:55to chase so for him to put
21:56his head down and lock in able to do that now he can kind to see him so it makes
22:01it easier as a rider because you've got that rabbit to chase
22:03he has that pace by just his normal lines
22:08oh this is absolutely incredible now the guy that stabilizes back to 4.1 now 4.6
22:15and it's so hard to get a read of what you're getting out of Jett when he's leading these races
22:22this race blew by we only have eight minutes left in this
22:25wow that flies when you're having fun with
22:27yeah it is
22:27four riders really throwing down the Lawrence's Deegan and Kunin
22:31this is exactly what the fans wanted to see today
22:37and it is not over because Hunter is still there
22:42oh Jett
22:45look we have to mention the obvious here the foot the ankle injury and these ruts and this track
22:50any time you see the mistake it almost makes you wince
22:55and I asked Jett yesterday we haven't really seen a running track yet
22:58how's it going to go and he said we'll see
23:02and he's got a fight now
23:03yeah he's got a fight and at no point he's been able to rest
23:07because any time he does that the guys behind him are able to close
23:09so it makes him push and what makes this track even more challenging
23:12you have all these ruts but if you notice in our screen
23:15there's these light pebbles around the racetrack
23:17the tires don't like those pebbles
23:19they don't grip into that so the bike is continuing
23:21sliding then you're sliding into this hair comb
23:24which makes it more challenging
23:25so injury or not it's easy to get a foot caught out or anything here
23:29and I think that's what you're starting to see
23:31and that's what you saw when Hey Deegan went down
23:34and now we hear Deegan it is under review
23:37where he was going inside in that corner
23:41so race control will eventually have to make a ruling on that
23:44as four laps click off and it's still Lawrence versus Lawrence
23:50they picked up the pace a little bit that last lab
23:53which kind of bridge that gap to Lucas
23:55they kind of stayed the same lost a little bit of time but
24:00and I'm very impressed by this Jet Lawrence
24:03I mean just little things like that
24:05just being able to hop on it
24:06it must be really hard for Hunter and these guys behind him
24:10because they're like he's right there we feel him
24:11wounded duck and the next thing you know
24:13he just puts in a quarter of a lap
24:15and just gets that gap and it's demoralizing
24:18because you're like I got to work really hard to get back up to him
24:22I've been calling it micro dosing
24:24it's like a section a corner one little area
24:28he just supplies it real quick and just gets that gap again
24:32the amount of times it has looked like in his career
24:34250 class as well that someone has Jet on the ropes
24:38and next thing you know he's just able to get back away
24:41and what happens mentally because he's been able to do that
24:44in his whole career that little bit of micro dosing
24:46so when they lose that time they've seen him
24:48they've been able to just pull away at that point
24:50so it's not like another rider
24:52where they feel like they just
24:53alright I'll just get back
24:54they've seen this story before
24:55so they don't they stop believing
24:57because he does it so many times
25:00the lap riders here is Kunin in that yellow gear
25:04like you said that is styled to look like
25:06the great Roger DeCoster
25:07a fellow Belgian who runs KTM's
25:10motorsports program over here in America
25:12one of the all-time greats of the sport
25:15and they built gear to look like his from the 1970s
25:18now the one part with this racetrack
25:20just how it's set up
25:21Jet's able to rest in certain parts like this section
25:25he's able to rest and I know it's really challenging
25:27but what's gonna happen
25:28Hunter can't pass him so Jet knows that
25:30so if he's starting to feel it a little bit
25:32or something bothers him
25:34he knows if I just get through this section
25:36I can sit down a little bit more
25:37gain my energy back
25:38to when we get to the open part
25:40now I can fight Hunter off
25:42and maybe that's why you're watching Hunter close up
25:44on these tighter parts
25:45every section where it's a one line
25:47they close up on them
25:48and then Jet picks up the pace
25:49on those opening sections
25:50so it might just be the form
25:52Will?
25:53They've just been talking about
25:54what his new week puts like
25:56because the guys usually ride
25:58kind of a couple of days a week
25:59maybe more than that
26:00if they're sort of testing
26:01making changes on the bike
26:02but Jet's only been on the bike once a week
26:04this is the new pattern
26:05and that's to rest the foot
26:07because what he said is
26:09I've got to get back
26:10to kind of what I feel like
26:11on you know
26:12before I start racing
26:13on a Saturday
26:14and he's like that just takes time
26:16it takes the whole week
26:17to essentially be set
26:18so that he's not going
26:19through these race weekends
26:20making it worse every week
26:23but he also reminded everybody
26:24that his fitness pace James
26:26is there
26:27so he wasn't at all concerned
26:29that he would lose that
26:30in fact he said actually racing
26:31at the weekends
26:32is going to keep that fitness pace
26:33but his week does look different
26:35so it's just more things
26:36that Jet Lawrence is adapting to
26:38and yet it doesn't seem
26:39to be changing the results
26:40yeah I mean that's a great point Will
26:42and yeah his fitness is good
26:44eventually if he's not able to ride
26:46it really comes down to like
26:48bike setup
26:48working on that
26:49and then eventually
26:50if you're not able to do it
26:51the fitness will come into a point
26:53but they've done so much work
26:54off the motorcycle
26:55he feels pretty good
26:57clearly he knows how to ride a motorcycle

27:39they're going to take the positives out of it

27:59did not ride yesterday
28:01they opened up a practice session for everyone
28:03because with the elevation
28:04the teams always want to get into the press day ride
28:06which is usually for a limited number
28:08of teams and riders so
28:11teams suggested
28:12can you just let everybody ride Friday
28:14so we can adjust to the elevation
28:15they did that
28:16but Prado elected not to do it
28:17so really haven't seen him much this weekend
28:19didn't get the customary good start
28:21a solid ride here
28:22in fifth
28:25that's the good news
28:25the bad is he lost a ton of points
28:28with a bike problem
28:29last week
28:30came into this one
28:3141 points down
28:33and he's going to need to respond quickly
28:35if he has any hope of climbing back
28:36into title contention
28:38yeah it's a tough position
28:39but I also believe
28:40what I was saying about Lucas
28:41that gap got built up
28:43between those top four
28:44so Jorge hasn't had anybody
28:46to really chase
28:47so sometimes that gap
28:49looks a lot bigger
28:50than what it actually is
28:51maybe if he was closer
28:52he might be able to run
28:53hey Deegan's pace
28:54or those guys
28:55but he's not able to see them
28:56so now
28:57he doesn't have anybody
28:58behind him
28:58which Garrett Marksfanks
28:59is running sixth

29:21I've seen him take a look behind
29:22to kind of gauge where Hunter's at

29:31break the will of Hunter
29:32and Hunter noticed it as well
29:33and you wonder if it's a little bit

29:35but if it's happened the last two laps

29:41from Jett
29:42Hunter made that mistake
29:43put it in a hot lap
29:44and then make Hunter just start

31:40where he was picking his bike
31:41I was on the tallest point
31:42of the racetrack
31:43so
31:44we got it on the top

31:49yeah just kind of the way he looks
31:50looks like he just lost the front end
31:51you can see the marks going there
31:53and all those rocks and mulch
31:54I'm talking about
31:55it's easy for that to happen
31:57those guys are going but
31:59Hunter's trying to straighten that front end
32:00because look at these ruts here
32:01can you imagine going through these things
32:03with a fender that's pointing the wrong way
32:06that's why it's important for him to
32:07straighten that thing out
32:08needs the alignment job
32:10and he's only three seconds up the track
32:12from Deegan who you can see back there
32:13and you know Deegan would love to pass him
32:16and there's still two laps to go
32:21yeah Hayden
32:22I'm sure his mechanic probably told him that he's there
32:25Hayden's going to put a full-on sprint
32:26because this would be another win for him
32:28in the bank if he's able to get back up on the podium
32:31and you know he's going to come
32:32if Hunter has a bent up motorcycle
32:34that's going to make it easier for Hayden
32:35to be able to do that
32:37and how about Lucas Coonan now in second
32:40yes he inherited it
32:42because Hunter went down
32:44but credit to him for being close enough
32:45to take advantage
32:46and Deegan is sending it

32:53that's one way of slowing down

32:59yeah I know a lot of people
33:00they don't like him revving a bike
33:02but what that's also doing
33:03that these Yamahas are so loud
33:05Hunter can hear that
33:07so sometimes you rev that motorcycle
33:08make a guy think you're a lot closer to what you is
33:11and there he is

33:14oh what a massive change this would be
33:16first of all
33:16even the third is going to make it difficult for Hunter
33:19to win the day overall
33:20just lost a couple of points there
33:22to a rider that is not in the championship
33:24Coonan
33:25and Deegan could make it worse

33:30he's going to use that line
33:32which I believe is out of bounds
33:33we'll probably hear more about that later
33:35but he's going to use that line

33:39and he'll go right by it
33:41again that's under review that line
33:43that Deegan's been using
33:48yeah there's there's a few lines on this racetrack
33:50that you can see all the stakes laid down
33:52and these guys are searching for that
33:54that traction but
33:55yeah that line
33:57that's back up there
33:59we will let the AMA make the call on that
34:02now just as quickly as Deegan got though
34:04to Hunter
34:05now the gap has stabilized
34:06and the white flag will be in sight soon

34:34just trying to get to the end of the race

34:38but what this is doing for Lucas
34:39he's kind of smart
34:41he kind of pushed him to the end
34:42so maybe he's not resting up
34:44and starting to recover
34:45between the boat
34:46if you push him to the end
34:47that means he's going to have to exert that energy
34:49the lap rider
34:50he found that line
34:52hey they're just trying to

34:54they're just trying to do as
34:55the middle amount of riding as possible
34:59three-quarters of a lap
35:00three-quarters of a lap to go
35:01there's Jet
35:03there's Koonan in that yellow gear
35:05on the Red Bull KTM
35:07yeah you see Jet take a look back
35:09and it almost had a double turn right there
35:12quickly as you see the bike sliding around
35:14this track is very difficult
35:16because the tires are always pushing away from you here
35:19on the racetrack
35:20and you throw all these rocks and this mulch on it
35:22makes it really tricky and easy to make a lot of mistakes
35:32and the fans have loved every minute of this 30 minute and two lap race
35:37because every time the riders came through that valley
35:40there was a battle
35:41this time it is Lawrence versus Koonan
35:47and Jet's got a quarter of a lap to go
35:48but a tough section right here
35:50yeah this is as far as important for Jet to get through it
35:53if he can get through this
35:55look at that for Koonan
35:57came into that corner hot
35:59no problem
36:01he can see the one now
36:04they were close but strong round by the champ
36:08expert class in race management
36:11Koonan is right there
36:13but Jet Lawrence hangs on
36:15for a big first moto win
