Youth football is alive in Tobago!

Shaw Park was the home for over 50 teams taking part in the 11th edition of the Kick It With Karyn football tournament.

High off of success, the organizer Karyn Forbes is considering expanding the two day competition to three days.

00:08they've managed to attract a growing number of teams to the competition 11th edition was a major
00:14success i think knowing that a lot of teams is going to show up and actually seeing it happen
00:22and come to fruition it was such a great feeling to see so many kids out there having fun and

00:28am really grateful that i'm able to do this for 11 years and to be able to impact society positively
00:34forbes indicated ball blasters and trendsetters did well this time around so we have ball blasters
00:40doing well in the u9 category we had ultimate unison from chanagan and boss blasters from tobago
00:46we also had lambo fc winning the u11 category which is one of our tobago teams that has been
00:53doing well you know we had other participants such as titans jared titans you know um doing well as
01:00well and then we had chancellor hawks you know from port of spain doing well which they came second in
01:05the u11 category we also had legions in the female category from chanagan forbes indicated that they
01:12would like to improve on the time that they completed the tournament moving forward yes
01:16definitely i have already been in talks with one team from guyana right i'm going to be coming in
01:22in the female and youth categories um next year please go so we definitely going to be not only
01:28impacting sports tourism domestically but also regionally forbes says the aim of the tournament
