“Goons Storm Lawyer’s Office”: Woman Advocate Dragged by Hair and Assaulted in Jetpur

A shocking incident raising serious concerns over law and order has emerged from Jetpur city in Gujarat’s Rajkot district, where four women allegedly stormed the office of a woman advocate and brutally assaulted her in broad daylight.

The incident took place at Maruti Complex near Teenbatti Chowk, a busy area in Jetpur, and the entire attack was captured on CCTV cameras installed inside the office. The footage has now gone viral on social media, triggering outrage.

According to reports, advocate Jyoti Makwana was working in her office when four women suddenly entered through the back door and allegedly began abusing her.

Before she could react, the accused allegedly grabbed the lawyer by her hair, dragged her to the ground and assaulted her mercilessly inside the office premises.

People present at the office immediately intervened, rescued the advocate and attempted to calm the situation.

According to the complaint filed by Jyoti Makwana with Jetpur City Police, the attack was linked to an old enmity connected to a divorce case. She stated that she had legally handled the divorce of a man identified as Karan Parmar nearly three months ago, and the accused women allegedly attacked her as part of a pre-planned conspiracy.

Following the incident, Jetpur City Police registered a case against the four accused women and launched action to detain them.

The broad daylight assault inside a lawyer’s office has sparked strong outrage within the Jetpur Bar Association, with lawyers demanding strict action against those involved.

Police are currently investigating the case based on CCTV footage and other evidence.
