04:19When the Queen of Sheba heard about Solomon, she came to challenge him with difficult questions.
04:26She arrived in Jerusalem with a great display of pomp, bringing with her camels carrying spices,
04:33a very large quantity of gold, together with precious gems.
04:39She visited Solomon and discussed with him everything that was on her mind.
04:44Solomon answered all her questions, for there was no question too complex for the king.
04:51When the Queen of Sheba saw for herself Solomon's extensive wisdom, the palace she had built,
04:57the food in his banqueting hall, his servants and attendants, their robes,
05:02his cupbearers and his burnt offerings which he presented in the Lord's temple,
05:08she was amazed.
05:09She said to the king,
05:11The report I heard in my own country about your wise sayings and insights was true.
05:18I did not believe these things until I came and saw them with my own eyes.
05:23Indeed, I didn't even hear half the story.
05:26Your wisdom and wealth surpass what was reported to me.
05:32Your attendants, who stand before you at all times and hear your wise sayings, are truly happy.
05:39May the Lord your God be praised because he favoured you by placing you on the throne of Israel.
