03:40O God whom I praise do not ignore me for they say cruel and deceptive things to me
03:46they lie to me they surround me and say hateful things they attack me for no reason
03:54they repay my love with accusations but I continue to pray
03:59they repay me evil for good and hate for love
04:05appoint an evil man to testify against him may an accuser stand at his right side
04:11when he is judged he will be found guilty then his prayer will be regarded as sinful
04:18may his days be few may another take his job
04:22may his children be fatherless and his wife a widow
04:27may his children roam around begging asking for handouts as they leave their ruined home
04:35may the creditor seize all he owns may strangers loot his property
04:42may no one show him kindness may no one have compassion on his fatherless children
04:49may his descendants be cut off may the memory of them be wiped out by the time the next generation
04:56arrives
04:58may his ancestors sins be remembered by the Lord may his mother's sin not be forgotten
05:07may the Lord be constantly aware of them and cut off the memory of his children from the earth
05:14for he never bothered to show kindness he harassed the oppressed and the needy and killed the disheartened
05:22he loved to curse others so those curses have come back upon him
05:27he had no desire to bless anyone so he has experienced no blessings
05:34he has made cursing a way of life so curses poured into his stomach like water
05:39and seeped into his bones like oil
05:43may a curse attach itself to him like a garment one puts on
05:48or a belt one wears continually
05:52may the Lord repay my accusers in this way
05:55those who say evil things about me
06:00O Sovereign Lord intervene on my behalf for the sake of your reputation
06:05because your loyal love is good deliver me
06:09for I am oppressed and needy and my heart beats violently within me
06:15I am fading away like a shadow at the end of the day
06:19I am shaken off like a locust
06:22I am so starved my knees shake
06:25I have turned into skin and bones
06:29I am disdained by them
06:31when they see me they shake their heads
06:34help me O Lord my God
06:36because you are faithful to me deliver me
06:39then they will realize this is your work
06:42and that you Lord have accomplished it
06:45they curse but you will bless
06:48when they attack they will be humiliated
06:51but your servant will rejoice
06:53my accusers will be covered with shame
06:56and draped in humiliation as if it were a robe
