00:10O Lord, open our lips, and our mouths shall sing your praise.
00:17O God, make speed to save us. O Lord, make haste to help us.
00:26Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning,
00:32is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
00:40Let us praise the Lord. The Lord's name be praised.
00:49I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
00:59I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.
01:09God from God, light from light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the
01:19Father.
01:20Through him all things were made.
01:23For us men, and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit, was incarnate of
01:31the Virgin Mary, and became man.
01:35For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate.
01:39He suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
01:46He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
01:52He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
01:59I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father,
02:06who with the Father and the Son, is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
02:14I believe in one holy, catholic and apostolic church.
02:18I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins,
02:23and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
02:30Amen.
02:33The Lord be with you, and also with you.
02:39Let us pray.
02:42Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:45Christ, have mercy upon us.
02:48Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:53Our Father in heaven, holy is your name.
02:58Your kingdom come.
03:00Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
03:05Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
03:16Do not allow us to fall into temptation, but deliver us from every evil.
03:23Amen.
03:27O Lord, have mercy upon us, and grant us your salvation.
03:35Bless your ministers with righteousness, and make your chosen people joyful.
03:44O Lord, save your people, and bless your inheritance.
03:51Give peace in our time, O Lord, because there is none other that fights for it, but only you, O
03:59God.
04:01O God, make clean our hearts within us.
04:06Do not take your Holy Spirit from us.
04:15The book of Proverbs, chapter 12
04:20The one who loves discipline loves knowledge, but the one who hates reproof is stupid.
04:27A good person obtains favour from the Lord, but the Lord condemns a person with wicked schemes.
04:35No one can be established through wickedness, but a righteous root cannot be moved.
04:43A noble wife is the crown of her husband, but the wife who acts shamefully is like rottenness in his
04:52bones.
04:53The plans of the righteous are just, the counsels of the wicked are deceitful.
05:00The words of the wicked lie in wait to shed innocent blood, but the words of the upright will deliver
05:07them.
05:09The wicked are overthrown and perish, but the righteous household will stand.
05:16A person is praised in accordance with his wisdom, but the one who has a twisted mind is despised.
05:25Better is a person of humble standing, who nevertheless has a servant, than one who pretends to be somebody important,
05:33yet has no food.
05:36A righteous person cares for the life of his animal, but even the most compassionate acts of the wicked are
05:44cruel.
05:45The one who works in his field will have plenty of food, but whoever chases daydreams lacks wisdom.
05:54The wicked person desires a stronghold, but the righteous root endures.
06:01The evil person is ensnared by the transgression of his speech, but the righteous person escapes out of trouble.
06:11A person will be satisfied with good from the fruit of his words, and the work of his hands will
06:18be rendered to him.
06:20The way of a fool is right in his own opinion, but the one who listens to advice is wise.
06:29A fool's annoyance is known at once, but the prudent overlooks an insult.
06:36The faithful witness tells what is right, but a false witness speaks deceit.
06:43Speaking recklessly is like the thrust of a sword, but the words of the wise bring healing.
06:52The one who tells the truth will endure forever, but the one who lies will last only for a moment.
07:01Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil, but those who promote peace have joy.
07:10The righteous do not encounter any harm, but the wicked are filled with calamity.
07:17The Lord abhors a person who lies, but those who deal truthfully are his delight.
07:25The shrewd person conceals knowledge, but the foolish publicise folly.
07:33The diligent person will rule, but the slothful will become a slave.
07:41Anxiety in a person's heart weighs him down, but an encouraging word will bring him joy.
07:48The righteous person is cautious in his friendships, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
07:57The lazy person does not roast his prey, but personal possessions are precious to the diligent.
08:05In the path of righteousness there is life, but another path leads to death.
08:13This is the word of the Lord.
08:16Thanks be to God.
08:22The Lord said unto my Lord,
08:28Sit down on my right hand,
08:32Until I make thine enemies like the storm.
08:39The Lord shall send the Lord of thy power to Zion,
08:45Be thou royal,
08:49Be thou royal,
08:51Be thou kingdom rich,
08:52Thou come thine enemies.
08:56In the day of thy power shall the people of the decree will offer it,
09:04With an holy version,
09:07That you are my power shall the Lord of the decree will offer it,
09:16The Lord swear and will not repent,
09:22Thou art a priest for ever,
09:26After the order of his name,
09:31The Lord upon thy attention,
09:37Thou evil kings in the day of the drop,
09:44We shall judge upon the heathen,
09:48We shall fill the places with the dead bodies,
09:54And fight in thunder the heads of the divers' countries
10:02He shall drink of the prophet away
10:08Therefore shall he give the fit men
10:17Glory be to the Father
10:21And to the Son and to the Holy Ghost
10:27As it was in the beginning
10:31It now and ever shall be
10:37God will not ever
10:44Amen
10:57I will give thanks unto the Lord with my whole heart
11:04Secretly among the faithful and in the congregation
11:10The works of the Lord are great
11:15So taught on all effort and pleasure they live
11:21His work is worthy to be praised and had it all
11:28And his righteousness endureth forever
11:33The merciful and gracious Lord
11:38Hath so done his mother's works
11:42That they loved to be had in remembrance
11:48He hath given feet unto death and fear
11:53He shall ever be thine rule of his covenant
12:00He hath shown his people the power of his hands
12:07That he may give them the heritage of the people
12:12And the works of his hands of beauty and judgment
12:19For his proponents are true
12:24He stand fast for ever and ever
12:30He hath given feet unto him
12:31And the kingdom to them
12:34He sent redemption unto his people
12:41He hath given his covenant for ever
12:46For he hath given the peace is made
12:52The fear of the Lord is the beginning of righteousness
12:58How good at that standing have obeyed and through their heart,
13:06How great of each and all and forever.
13:14Glory be to the power, and to the sun, and to the holy ghost,
13:24As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be,
13:34When will the kingdom come? Amen.
13:42Amen.
13:42Amen.
13:43Amen.
14:22Amen.
14:30Amen.
14:36And to the glory of the light and of light in the darkness,
14:45He is merciful, loving, and righteous.
14:53For good God is merciful and friendly,
15:00and will guide His word with His treasure.
15:07For He shall never be new,
15:12and the righteous shall be happy, ever lost in remembrance.
15:21He will not be afraid of any evil twilight,
15:28for His God standeth not, and believeeth in the Lord.
15:38His God is established, and will not shrink,
15:43but till He see His desire among His enemies.
15:51He brought His paths of love and freedom to the full,
15:58and His righteousness be made in forever.
16:04He is strong, shall be exalted with other.
16:11He and God, which I seek, and which I grieve Him,
16:16He is strong, shall be exalted with other.
16:22He is strong, shall be exalted with other.
16:33He is strong, shall be exalted with other.
16:44He is strong, shall be exalted with other.
16:58Amen.
17:11Praise the Lord, each servant,
17:16O praise the name of the Lord.
17:22Let it be the name of the Lord
17:27From which I've come forevermore.
17:35The Lord's name is praise
17:38From the writing of the sun
17:43From to the growing ground of the same.
17:50The Lord is higher, far for even
17:55And his glory above the heavens.
18:04To which I have come to the Lord our God
18:08That have his dwelling so high
18:14And yet God let him serve to behold
18:19The things that are in heaven and love.
18:25He's taken of the sinful heart of the night
18:33And with death the poor heart of the night
18:42And he may search it with a great touch
18:48Even with the great touch of his people
18:55He may get the power of the Lord
18:59To keep us
19:02And to be a joyful father of children
19:13Lord, lead me to the time
19:17And to the sun
19:21And to the holy God
19:25What is wrong to come in thee
19:29Is now and never shall be
19:34One without end
19:43Amen
19:55The Acts of the Apostles
19:58Chapter 23
20:01When morning came
20:02The Jews formed a conspiracy
20:04And bound themselves with an oath
20:06Not to eat or drink anything
20:08Until they had killed Paul
20:11There were more than 40 of them
20:13Who formed this conspiracy
20:15And they went to the chief priests
20:17And the elders and said
20:18We have bound ourselves with a solemn oath
20:20Not to partake of anything
20:22Until we have killed Paul
20:25So now you and the council
20:27Should go and request the commanding officer
20:29To bring him down to you
20:31As if you were going to determine his case
20:35By conducting a more thorough inquiry
20:38We will lie and wait to kill him
20:41Before he comes near this place
20:47When the son of Paul's sister
20:48He heard about the ambush
20:50He came and entered the barracks
20:52And told Paul
20:55Paul called one of the centurions
20:57And said
20:57Take this young man
20:59To the commanding officer
21:00For he wishes to make a report
21:02To him
21:05So the centurion took him
21:07And brought him to the commanding officer
21:09And said
21:10The prisoner Paul asked me
21:12To bring this young man to you
21:14Because he has something to tell you
21:19The commanding officer
21:20Took him by the hand
21:21Withdrew privately
21:22And asked him
21:24What is it you want to report to me
21:28He replied
21:29The Jews have agreed to ask you
21:32To bring Paul down to the council tomorrow
21:35As if they were going to inquire
21:37More thoroughly about him
21:40So do not let them persuade you to do this
21:43Because more than forty of them
21:45Will be lying in ambush for him
21:47They have bound themselves with an oath
21:49Not to eat or drink anything
21:51Until they have killed him
21:54And now they are ready
21:55Waiting for you to agree to their request
22:00Then the commanding officer
22:02Sent the young man away
22:05Directing him
22:05Tell no one
22:07That you have reported these things to me
22:13Then he summoned two of the centurions
22:15And said
22:16Make ready two hundred soldiers
22:18To go to Caesarea
22:20Along with seventy horsemen
22:21And two hundred spearmen
22:23By nine o'clock tonight
22:26And provide mems for Paul to ride
22:29So that he may be taken safely
22:31To Felix the governor
22:36This is the word of the Lord
22:38Thanks be to God
22:45Collect for peace
22:48O God who is the author of peace
22:50And lover of concord
22:52In knowledge of whom stands our eternal life
22:56Whose service is perfect freedom
22:58Defend us your humble servants
23:01In all assaults of our enemies
23:04That we surely trusting in your defence
23:07May not fear the power of any adversaries
23:11Through the might of Jesus Christ our Lord
23:15Amen
23:20Collect for our safe preservation
23:23O Lord our Heavenly Father
23:25Almighty and everlasting God
23:27Who has safely brought us to the beginning of this day
23:32Defend us in the same with your mighty power
23:34And grant that this day
23:36We fall into no sin
23:38Neither run into any kind of danger
23:41But that all our doings may be ordered
23:45By your governance
23:47To do always that which is righteous in your sight
23:52Through Jesus Christ our Lord
23:54Amen
23:59Lord let me accept calmly all
24:02That this day might bring me
24:04And let me devote myself completely
24:07To your sacred will
24:09Direct me and help me each hour of this day
24:13Control my thoughts and feelings
24:16In all my deeds and words
24:18When unpredictable circumstances arise
24:22Do not let me forget that everything comes from you
24:28Lord Jesus Son of God
24:30It is better not to live
24:32Than to live without you
24:34I thank you God
24:36For the gift of this new day
24:38And for all the good deeds
24:40You will help me do
24:41Today
24:44Holy Spirit
24:45Help me to dedicate this day
24:47To my Lord and Saviour
24:49Teach me to be just toward my brother and sister
24:53Never to provoke wrath or cause sorrow
24:58Control my will and teach me to pray
25:01To believe
25:03To hope
25:04To suffer
25:05To forgive
25:06And to love
25:08Amen
25:13We pray for the work of your faithful servants
25:16Throughout the world Lord
25:19Lord in your mercy
25:21Hear our prayer
25:26May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
