02:30I know social media teams are social media teams, and I shouldn't think that much into it, but you couldn't

02:39And, Daryl, you're either going to roll your eyes or you're going to say there's a possibility here.
02:44Here's Daryl Ryder last night about the significance of the schedule being released, the video, and a certain person who's
02:53in it.
02:53The Browns are extremely thoughtful about what they put out there on their social channels, and they don't make mistakes
03:01with what they put out there.
03:03It's really hard for me not to read something into that, that they promoted or mentioned Shador Sanders in this
03:09video, but they didn't mention Deshaun Watson.
03:11I think we know what part of it is, right?
03:13One kid's marketable, the other one not so much.
03:15It's not lost on me.
03:16I don't think that that really influences anything that Todd Munkin is thinking or what he's going to do or
03:21anything, but it's really hard not to try and read something into that, that he is the quarterback that gets
03:28the feature in the team video.
03:30I don't think that was done by accident.
03:33Again, everything they do is thought out, and there's a purpose behind it.
03:37Maybe I am giving them too much credit, and if I am, I'll admit it.
03:41What was the first thing that I said to you when I watched the video?
03:44You immediately pointed out the fact that Shador Sanders is in it.
03:46It was the first thing that caught your eye.
03:48Beyond it, you watched about the first 30 seconds of it, and you were like, oh, this is interesting, and
03:52then you got Shador's in it.
03:53I always kind of laugh at the people who put on the social media stuff.
03:57It's like, well, they don't pick the starters.
03:58They don't pick the lineup.
04:00This is any team in any city anywhere.
04:02It's like, well, they don't pick it.
04:03It is what it is.
04:04Maybe you're just frustrated, and you're going to get the opinion off, which is fine, but when I see Shador
04:09in the video, clearly we know who they want to start.
04:13They don't want to start Deshaun Watson.
04:15Dylan Gabriel's not a conversation.
04:16Taylor Green's not a serious conversation.
04:19Like, 53-man roster, some people took it the wrong way earlier this week.
04:22It's like, no, but you wouldn't be surprised if we got to that November 29th game, and here comes Taylor
04:28Green, because that's the way Brown seasons have gone in the past.
04:32But you can't tell me that when he's featured prominently in the video, the schedule release video, when he is
04:39featured prominently on a lot of things that they have, like, we know who they want to start.
04:44They might not start him, but we know who they want to get the job, which might end up being
04:47a good thing for everybody involved.
04:49But I see the same thing Daryl sees, and it's like, it's not a guarantee that he's going to start,
04:55because I want Todd Munkin to be empowered to make the decision and make the decision.
05:01And if he makes the decision to start somebody else, even Deshaun Watson, I'll deal with it.
05:05But it clearly shows who they want to win that job and to start for him this year.
05:11And I actually think, I mean, you look at where their schedule is, there's not great opponents here.
05:15There's not sexy opponents here.
05:17It's not a who's who.
05:19The Giants are a team that might be on the up, but a lot of these teams are kind of
05:23whatever.
05:23We'll see where they are.
05:25And you could look at it and go, hey, these are not terrible opponents.
05:29Maybe the schedule actually plays into Shador's hands a little bit here.
05:32Maybe you feel differently, because the games do start off on the road.
05:35Well, I'll just say, I'd love it to have some big opinion on the schedule release video and what it
05:41means to the team.
05:42I just think it's pretty common sense that you're not going to promote Deshaun Watson anywhere,
05:47especially knowing that these videos are all going viral, some for good, some for bad, many for bad.
05:54But they're all going to go viral, and given the sensitive nature of everything surrounding Deshaun Watson,
06:00even after all these years, there's just no planet where they're going to have fun, make light,
06:06and throw Deshaun Watson in a feel-good video that could go viral.
06:10There's no social media team on the planet that would do that.
06:14They just wouldn't.
06:15So I didn't read anything into that.
06:18But I can't accept, because Daryl says they're thoughtful with what they put out there.
06:21That's exactly why I say it's like, they want Shador to start over Deshaun Watson.
06:26I think they want it.
06:27Well, I think there's a hundred reasons why you'd want Deshaun.
06:29And that is another one.
06:31There's another one of those things.
06:33Like, if they really, like, I didn't see Dylan Gabriel in it.
06:36I didn't see Deshaun Watson in it.
06:38Dylan Gabriel's getting traded.
06:39There's a lot of, well, okay, but I'm using him as an example in the quarterback room, okay?
06:44Taylor Greene, there's obviously no conversation there yet.
06:47Like, you don't see those guys featured.
06:48So who was it?

06:50Quenchon Judkins, Miles Garrett, Denzel Ward was in it.
06:54Right off the top of my head, Shador was in it, obviously.
06:57A couple others were in it.
06:58I just got to try to remember who the hell it was.

07:06If I'm going to have a criticism, that was one of them.

07:21It's valedictorian, Medina, he was from.
07:23He's from here.
07:24And Duke, he went to Duke.
07:26And what's he do now?
07:27And he was studying theater.
07:28Is he an actor?
07:29I think he's just a social media influencer.

07:33Oh, I looked, somebody added him, and I saw he had 5 million followers.
07:37He owns his own media company.
07:38He's clearly well known by fans.
07:41I just, I've never heard of the guy.
07:42So they clearly had to spend some money to get him on it, right?
07:44Yes.
07:45So these teams spend a lot of money on these things.
07:46Yes, they do.
07:47And they want to get people excited.
07:49Nobody's going to get excited over Deshaun Watson.
07:51In fact, if they had Deshaun Watson featured prominently in it, what are we saying today?
07:55Like, you have to think about the other side of it.
07:56Right.
07:56So I don't think that the schedule, the schedule release or anything means anything to Todd
08:02Munkin or his staff.
08:03I don't think it means anything to them, but I do think it means something with the ownership.
08:07I do think it means something with everything in marketing and business where it's like,
08:12Hey, they really want your daughter to take this job and win this job.
08:14Cause if you got to play the other guy, then I got to get on the phone and I got
08:18to try
08:18to sell tickets to the other guy that bronze fans don't want to see.
08:20Like you can, if you're a bronze fan, I do talk to some bronze fans.
08:24They just, they're tired of the craziness.
08:26They're tired of all the losing.
08:28They just want to move forward with someone else or some way else.

08:31But they're much more open to Shador because he seems like a nice guy.
08:36Certainly gets around in the community.
08:38He's easily marketable.
08:38Very, very nicely.
08:40Exactly.
08:40And then the other one, it just reminds them of a terrible trade and a lost generation.
08:46Cause that's what it is.
08:47I mean, we're still wondering what Joel Batonio is going to do.
08:49It's like, if you, if nobody loses their minds and Baker gets settled down and the Browns
08:55get settled down, it's not, it might not be where we're all having diamonds, but it's
09:00also much better than what we're dealing with here over the last few years.
09:04Think about the fate and you could say whatever you want to about all allegations and things
09:09like that.
09:10Yes, that's part of the story, but also the losing, the playing a one great half against
09:17Baltimore and then getting hurt and being out for the rest of the year and then being
09:21out most of the next year at, at you weren't even playing well, that's a big part of the
09:25story as well.
09:26Reminding that it's bad football and you have this, this albatross contract in the word of
09:32Troy Aikman.
09:33That's part of the reminder.
09:34So if he were featured in it, your reaction is going to be so much more negative.
09:38Some people have some criticism over the video itself.
09:41Some people have criticism over street fighter or whatever.
09:45There's no criticism really of this.
09:47Cause it's like, Hey, Shador is a likable guy.
09:49They want Shador to win the job.
09:50We just don't know if he will.
09:52And as a lot of things that are seen, maybe he won't.
09:55If we're, if we're reading all the different reports and all the other things, it would
09:59probably be Deshaun Watson, but they ain't going to feature him.
