00:00Let's go back to the severe weather, though, because that's the more immediate threat here.
00:04This is the entire area we're concerned about for the rest of the evening from really southwest of Austin all
00:14the way up into Tennessee.
00:16Our most numerous severe storms expected from Dallas through Little Rock up through Jonesboro.
00:20All types of severe weather certainly possible here.
00:24However, wind and hail are going to be the primary threats.
00:27Into the overnight, we're going to see the heavy rainfall start to ramp up a little bit more.
00:31So that's where we could see a little bit of flash flooding and a few isolated tornadoes are certainly possible
00:36and something you should be prepared for.
00:38So especially since this goes into the overnight, make sure you have multiple ways to be woken up for any
00:42warnings that might be issued.
00:43So taking a look at future radar here, you can see by 1130, we have some of these storms and
00:48even could see a few squall lines going.
00:50But I really want to focus in tomorrow morning, heavy rainfall into Tennessee, and it's just one round.
00:55We have another round that kicks in later in the evening when we start to see more of the severe
01:00weather.
01:00But that's why flooding starts to be a bigger concern for tomorrow compared to today.
01:05That's one of the big differences from today's severe weather to tomorrow's, and we shift a little further to the
01:11east.
01:11You can see we really struggle to get rid of the rain and the storms, though, into east Texas and
01:16Louisiana.
01:16They linger even by Thursday once the focus really becomes the east coast.
01:20Still a southeast focus, getting as far north as Virginia, but we continue.
01:25And then Friday, we start to shift our focus down towards the Gulf Coast with another threat of mainly some
01:32flooding.
01:32Here's what we're concerned about for Wednesday, though.
01:35It's really a similar area, though, stretching farther to the east all the way to the western portions of the
01:41Carolinas.
01:41All types of severe weather possible here, a little bit of a larger moderate risk area here, level two out
01:47of four from Shreveport up towards Birmingham.
01:50A key difference, like I mentioned, between today and tomorrow, that flooding risk, it goes up to a medium.
01:56Still a low chance tornadoes, but we do expect to see a couple on the ground.
02:01Quick look at the flooding risk because it's just a little bit different of an area.
02:05Localized flash flooding, but still flash flooding expected.
02:08We'll see you next time.
