00:05Malik Neighbors, who we heard a couple of months ago, oh, boy, the rehab is not going well.
00:11He may not even be ready for.
00:13Well, it turns out he's not on the physically unable to perform list.
00:17He's actually out and they expect him to be with the team starting next week.
00:23And that is great news because Malik Neighbors, I think, is that if I'm Jackson Dodd, I am bubble wrap
00:31them, put them in the corner, all good to go, get it going.
00:35It just feels like Ken Harbaugh put together a lot of young guys, a lot of, you know, a lot
00:44of different personalities rolling on that team.
00:46I think Harbaugh is the right guy for that job, but Baltimore ain't New York media.
00:52So this is going to be a very interesting season for, I think, Harbaugh and the Giants.

01:04But I would also say, Joe, it kind of feels like the NFL is sort of state run media now.
01:09It doesn't feel like the media matters that much in the NFL.
01:13Yeah, like, I mean, you know, your access to the locker room is now so limited to what it was
01:1910, 15 years ago.
01:20So the chances that you have to stir it up as a media member, I mean, those days are kind
01:26of gone.
01:27I mean, in baseball, you still have that access.
01:29And in the NBA, you get the shoot around and hockey, the skate around.
01:32You really don't get access to the players like you used to in the NFL.
01:35So I don't know that the media is a huge factor for a guy like Harbaugh.
01:38He's also been around a long time.
01:40So I but but the difference is, is that when he got to Baltimore, he didn't really have expectations.
01:47And then he rose them up the expectations now because of what has happened.
01:52And he signed that mega deal with New York.
01:53I think that's that's why is that he's one of the highest paid coaches now in the NFL after letting
01:58go by the Ravens.
01:59But it's funny, we were talking before the break.
02:01And just to sort of drive the point home that the league is so crazy from year to year used
02:07to be you build for three years and it's a system.
02:11And you're talking about Malik neighbors being hurt.
02:14What Joe, if I would have told you we're sitting doing these shows in August two years ago, and I
02:20told you that Debo Samuel would not be on a team and Stefan Diggs would not be on a team
02:28and Tyreek Hill would not be on a team.
02:32And it's literally two years ago.
02:35You would have said you're out of your mind.
02:36These are like the three of the best five wide receivers in the NFL.
02:39Well, the league, the amount of pressure on these teams and these like if you are a sliding player in
02:46the NFL and a fading player, you basically don't get signed.
02:51So there are still some players out there that could make an impact.

02:57You just fell apart and you're and you're kind of done.
03:00Your career is kind of over so fast.

03:03So, you know, we that's why we're benching Pierce, all maybe Debo Samuel, someone else.
03:07And we looked it up and, you know, Christian Kirk is there and Demarcus Robinson is there.
03:11I think the 49ers probably feel like they have enough.
03:14But I do think that we will have, you know, probably another wacky year like we always see in the
03:20league.
03:20And, you know, certainly there's going to be there's injuries every year in training camp.
03:24Now, we've seen less the last couple of years injury wise because teams aren't playing their players in the preseason
03:29at all anymore.
03:30And they're they're only playing them in these joint practices, Joe, a little bit.
03:35And that's been like the joint practices that you'll start to hear about.
03:38That's the preseason now in the NFL.
03:40When they have those, the guys play in that and then they don't play in the actual games.
03:43But still, you have to pay $100 ticket.
03:45Go figure that one.
