T&T vice-captain Bryan Charles believes Team Red Force can get the better of Barbados in their play-off starting Sunday to get to the final.

Charles knows there are quality players on the Barbados team, but he thinks a team effort from T&T can take them closer to glory.

00:00It's crunch time as Trinidad and Tobago faced Barbados in their playoff from Sunday in Antigua.
00:04With both teams vying for a spot in the final against Guyana,
00:08TNT advanced further after taking care of the Leeward Islands in their three-match bilateral series.
00:13According to Red Force vice-captain Brian Charles, it was a total team effort which made it happen.
00:18I think it was a pretty good series. I think over the past few years we've been back and forth
00:22with Leewards.
00:23We won some and they won some as well.
00:25So I think it was really good for us. I think all round we came to the party.
00:30The fast bowling department did really well in all the games and the batting as well.
00:34We had two double sentries so I think that's what put them to bed.
00:39Charles played a key role in the opening match against the Leewards, taking five wickets to help TNT win that
00:44game.
00:44It turned out to be crucial in the end as the next one was abandoned on day three due to
00:49a dangerous pitch
00:50while the last match was drawn.
00:52Regarding his own performances, Charles has no complaints.
00:56I think it was pretty good. The Coolidge pitch which we played the first game on was a really good
01:00pitch.
01:00It offered something for the fast bowlers, the spinners and the batsmen and I think we have the semi-final
01:04there as well.
01:05So I look forward to playing there and the other two pitches, the second game and survey which was abandoned
01:10was really good for the Pacers.
01:11Probably like five overs, a spin bowl in that game and we all know the last game was a really,
01:16really flat wicket.
01:16So a lot of errands first down there. So it's pretty good to go back to Coolidge to play the
01:20semi-final but we have some confidence on that ground.
01:23Charles knows the Bajans are tough opponents despite the fact that TNT beat them last year.
01:28Even though he's not taking them for granted, the 30-year-old off-spinner is optimistic about TNT's chances against
01:35the opposition.
01:36I think we're pretty confident especially coming off those wins in that series there.
01:40I think it's just to go out there, put our best foot forward. We've been clicking in all aspects so
01:44it's just to keep that form going for the rest for the semi-final.
01:47Having said that, Charles knows the likes of Craig Brathwaite and Kevin Wickham, just to name a couple, have been
01:53shining for Barbados.
01:55So how do the TNT players plan to deal with them?
01:58I think it's a matter of sticking to what we have been doing well.
02:01As I said, the fast bowlers have been doing really well so the batsmen have to come good to really
02:05get through them first and then the spinners will come for them.
02:07And I think batting as well, I think we have that down pack.
02:11So it's just for the players to be confident and go well in the semi-final.
02:15Jaden Seals was rested for the last game, but Charles says the Pacer is set to play against Barbados, plus
02:22the final should TNT qualify for it.
02:24We know now on the team 6-4.
