Trinidad and Tobago Red Force coach Rayad Emrit is upbeat ahead of his side's next Regional Four-Day match against Barbados starting tomorrow at the Kensington Oval.

At the same time, he also has respect for the Bajans, who are one spot behind T&T in third position.

00:00Trinidad and Tobago's cricketers are coming off a hard-fought win against the West Indies Academy in Antigua.
00:06The next assignment is against Barbados in the opposition's backyard.
00:10Red Force coach Riyad Emrith is hoping TNT can improve in the batting department going into the match.
00:15As I've said before, the academy team never wanted to take them lightly.
00:19We know they're a team, they have a few good players in it and they would try to run us.
00:28Any team coming up against Red Force will try to run us to the ground and probably play their best cricket, so we expected that.
00:34I think the team recovered well in both innings. First innings where we were 91 for 6 and then second innings, 115 for 6.
00:44The batting really, really came well. The lower order especially were extremely well.
00:48I think we just need to look at those areas and hopefully improve in this game against the Barbados team.
00:57Emrith has respect for the Bajans who are also coming off a win against CCC.
01:01And how confident is he about TNT's chances going into the game?
01:05I think we have a very good chance because we're coming off three very good victories.
01:12The spirits in the team are good. We're very confident and hopefully we can get the job done again against this good Barbados team.
01:23Physical and mental fitness also play a big part if a team has to be successful.
01:28As far as TNT Red Force are concerned, one individual comes in and one is out.
01:34All the guys are fit. We have a squad of 13. We had to make one change. Vikash Mohan, he's injured and he's out, so Kamil Puran is back in.
01:47The last time TNT met Barbados in 2024, the Bajans won by 8 wickets at the Queens Park Oval.
