00:00Greetings to you all in the masterless name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
00:04Dear brothers and sisters, I hope that you're all doing well.
00:08Though, whatever things that happen surrounding us,
00:11but the Lord is always with us.
00:15I hope that you're all being blessed by this morning meditations,
00:19which the Lord has been teaching us every morning.
00:22The Lord is good, so that's the reason
00:24He has given us this blessed morning to study His Word.
00:28Let's pray.
00:30Our loving Heavenly Father,
00:32we thank and we praise You for the blessed opportunity
00:35to come before Your presence,
00:37to thank You and to call You as our Father.
00:41Precious Father,
00:42this morning as we wait for to hear Your Word,
00:45as You said,
00:46Man shall not live by bread alone,
00:48but he liveth by every word that proceedeth out from the mouth of God.
00:52We pray and we ask You, Father,
00:54give Your Word for us and strengthen us.
00:56In Jesus' mighty name we ask and we pray.
00:59Amen.
01:02Hope you have your Bible with me.
01:05Turn with me to the Gospel of John, chapter 21,
01:08beginning with verse 1 to verse 14.
01:14In this passage,
01:17that Simon and Peter,
01:20and along with the disciples of Jesus Christ,
01:24they were back to the fishing.
01:27Dear brothers and sisters,
01:29there are oftentimes, even in our spiritual life,
01:33when things does not seem to be happening good for us,
01:39or when sickness,
01:40when troubles,
01:41when trials,
01:42when crisis we are going through in our lives,
01:45we curse God
01:47and we lose our faith
01:48and we lose and broke a relationship
01:53with our Lord Jesus Christ.
01:55and we lose our first love
01:57upon Jesus Christ too.
02:01That's the Lord Jesus said
02:03in the book of Revelation, chapter 2.
02:06He's speaking about the church of Ephesus
02:11and was telling to them
02:12that you have lost your first love.
02:17The moment when we have trusted in Jesus Christ
02:20and when we have received the gift of salvation
02:23from the Lord Jesus Christ,
02:25we are well-bounded in faith
02:27and relationship with Him.
02:30But when things and when days pass on by,
02:33we lose our faith
02:34and we lose our first love upon Him.
02:38Just as the same thing was happening here,
02:42that Simon and Thomas,
02:44Nathanael,
02:46the sons of Jebedee,
02:47which means James and John
02:49and the other two disciples of Jesus Christ,
02:52they went back for fishing.
02:57They went back to the profession
02:59from where the Lord Jesus Christ
03:02have called them into His fellowship
03:05to build up His spiritual kingdom.
03:09Even this morning,
03:11maybe if you are in lost the relationship
03:13with the Lord Jesus Christ.
03:16But the Lord is always looking for
03:18that when you can come back to Him.
03:22He will never say that you have left me,
03:26but He is the Lord
03:28who will be always with us
03:29and who will always desire
03:33that we might return back to Him.
03:39because the Father
03:42has always been looking for
03:44the prodigal son
03:45who has left Him
03:47and moved away
03:48to a far away country.
03:51and He is always seeking
03:53that when His Son
03:54repenteth Himself
03:55and turneth back to me.
03:58That's the Bible says,
04:00Jesus said this way,
04:03He that cometh to me,
04:04I will never reject them,
04:06but I will accept them.
04:08Let's all turn back to God
04:11if you are fallen away
04:12from God and His fellowship.
04:15Now when Simon Peter
04:17and the disciples of Jesus Christ,
04:19when they have been back to the fishing
04:21and Jesus had appeared
04:25to them by the third time.
04:28What happened when Jesus
04:29had appeared to them?
04:31What had brought to them
04:34when He had appeared to them?
04:36Turn to the Gospel of John chapter 21
04:39and verse 4.
04:41But when the morning was now,
04:43Jesus stood on the shore.
04:46Number 1.
04:47When they have moved away from God,
04:49Jesus came to them
04:51early in the morning.
04:54These people have already been tired
04:56of by tolling all the night
05:00in the sea
05:01to catch a fish.
05:03But they did not even
05:05get a single of fish.
05:08That's the Bible says
05:09in Psalm chapter 30
05:11and verse 5.
05:13Sorrow comes in the night,
05:14but joy comes in the morning.
05:17The disciples of Jesus Christ,
05:19they have laid down their nets
05:21and they're thinking
05:22that to get a fish,
05:25even though they toil all the night.
05:27But they did not get
05:28any single fish.
05:30It is a night of sorrow.
05:33But the joy that is
05:35the Lord Jesus Christ
05:36stood on the shore.
05:38This morning,
05:39dear brothers and sisters,
05:41the moment when you are facing
05:43failures and loneliness
05:44and disasters
05:45and shared relationship
05:47in your life,
05:48but always,
05:50Jesus comes to you
05:51when you are feeling alone
05:53and the time that when you are
05:56being distracted in your life.
05:58He comes to you
05:59in the morning
06:00to give you joy
06:02and peace
06:03and happiness,
06:04to take away the troubles
06:05in your life,
06:06to fill your heart
06:07with joy.
06:09Though they have been
06:10toiled all the night
06:11for a fish,
06:12but they did not get
06:14because the reason
06:14that Jesus was not with them.
06:17Now Jesus came to them
06:18and stood
06:19by the seashore
06:21early in the morning.
06:24No matter what happens
06:25in your life,
06:26no matter who will be
06:27with you in your life,
06:28but always,
06:29Jesus will be with you
06:30and will strengthen you
06:32through all the days
06:33of your life.
06:35And the second thing,
06:37Jesus had not only
06:38come to them,
06:39but Jesus also
06:40had showed pity
06:41upon them.
06:43John chapter 21
06:44and verse 5,
06:45Then Jesus said unto them,
06:47Children,
06:48have ye any meat?
06:49They answered him,
06:51No.
06:52You know the way
06:53that Jesus had called
06:54his disciples.
06:55He didn't say
06:55disciples.
06:57Or he didn't say
06:59servants.
07:00Or he didn't say
07:01people who have left me
07:03and back to the fishing.
07:05Or Jesus did not
07:07call them as brothers,
07:09but Jesus have called
07:10them children.
07:11He called them
07:12as a children.
07:15Jesus as being a father,
07:17he was calling
07:18his disciples
07:18as a children.
07:21It is the word
07:22of a love
07:24of a father
07:25towards his children.
07:28And the Bible says
07:29in Psalm chapter 103,
07:32As a father pitieth
07:33upon his children,
07:34so as the Lord
07:35pitieth upon those
07:37who fear him.
07:40the disciples
07:41of Jesus Christ
07:43have moved away
07:43from Christ.
07:45But now,
07:46but now,
07:47Jesus was calling
07:49them as children
07:50that they might
07:51return back
07:52to Christ.
07:55You know,
07:55once upon a time
07:56that we are
07:56the children of wrath,
07:58we are the children
07:58of disobedience,
07:59but now,
08:00through the blood
08:00of Jesus Christ
08:01and his death
08:02and his burial
08:03and his resurrection,
08:04we are made
08:05righteousness
08:07and we are made
08:08in new creation
08:09and with a new name
08:10that we are called
08:11as a children of God
08:12and God has adopted us
08:14and we can call him
08:16as Abba,
08:16our father.
08:19And the third thing,
08:21that he did a miracle
08:22and he blessed them.
08:24John chapter 21
08:27and verse 6,
08:29And he said unto them,
08:30Cast the net
08:32on the right side
08:33of the ship
08:34and you shall find.
08:36And when they obeyed
08:38to them,
08:39and they caught
08:40many fishes
08:42in their nets,
08:43they obeyed
08:44to him.
08:46Dear brothers
08:47and dear sisters,
08:48there is a blessing
08:49when you obey
08:50to the Lord
08:51and his voice
08:51and his command.
08:53The Bible is very clear
08:54about this.
08:55In the book of Exodus,
08:56in the book of Deuteronomy,
08:57the Lord said,
08:58If you follow my statutes,
08:59if you follow my commandments,
09:01and if you follow
09:02my ordinances
09:03and obey to my words
09:05what I give to you,
09:06and you will be blessed
09:07in everything.
09:09Now,
09:10Simon Peter
09:11and the other disciples
09:12of Jesus Christ,
09:13they obeyed
09:15to the word
09:15of Jesus Christ
09:16and they laid down
09:17their nets.
09:20when they laid down
09:21their nets,
09:22there was a many fishes
09:23that has been caught
09:25in their nets.
09:28There is a great blessing
09:30when you obey
09:30to the word
09:31of Jesus Christ.
09:34The fishes
09:35that they have caught
09:35is 153,
09:38153 fishes
09:39they got.
09:41Why did they
09:41did not get
09:42a single fish
09:43even though
09:43that they have been
09:44toiled all the night?
09:45Because Jesus
09:46was not with them.
09:47Now the moment
09:48when they have
09:49obeyed to him,
09:50the creator,
09:52the one that
09:52who had feeded
09:53the fishes
09:54in the sea,
09:55that's the same one
09:56who has blessed
09:58them with
09:58a multitude
09:59of fishes
10:00and the nets
10:01did not break.
10:05and Jesus
10:06blessed them.
10:09The desire
10:10of the Lord
10:10Jesus Christ
10:12always want us,
10:13always wants
10:16that we
10:17to be blessed
10:17by God.
10:20So there are
10:21three things.
10:23Jesus came
10:24to them early
10:24in the morning
10:27and Jesus
10:28showed pity
10:29upon them
10:30and also
10:32Jesus
10:33hath blessed
10:34them.
10:36When this
10:37thing was
10:37being happened,
10:40but before
10:41this miracle
10:42that the
10:43disciples of
10:44Jesus Christ
10:44could not
10:44able to
10:45recognize
10:45him,
10:47that's the
10:48reason that
10:48Jesus appeared
10:49to them
10:49by the third
10:51time.
10:53He appeared
10:54to them
10:54by the third
10:55time.
10:57So dear
10:58brothers
10:58and dear
10:59sisters,
11:01whenever you
11:02face failures
11:03in your life,
11:04when you
11:04turn away
11:05from God,
11:06there is
11:07always God
11:07standing with
11:08you and
11:10he always
11:10be with you
11:12and he
11:13always want
11:13you have
11:14to restore
11:15your fellowship
11:16with you.
11:16We serve
11:17a God
11:18who always
11:18wants us
11:19to restore
11:20us back
11:21into his
11:21fellowship,
11:22who always
11:23wants us
11:23to bless
11:24us.
11:25This is
11:26the third
11:26appearance
11:27of the
11:28resurrection
11:28of Jesus
11:29Christ
11:30to the
11:30disciples
11:31of him.
11:34God
11:34can even
11:35restore you
11:35if you
11:36are being
11:36fallen away
11:37from him.
11:39What you
11:39need to do
11:40this morning
11:40is you
11:41just need
11:41to turn
11:41to God
11:42and say,
11:42Lord,
11:43I'm sorry
11:43for what
11:43I've done
11:44and forgive
11:45me.
11:46May the
11:47blessings of
11:47the Lord
