00:02I bring greetings to you all in the holy and the precious name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

00:11to come before the throne of His grace,
00:15to thank the Lord for all His faithfulness and goodness in all our lives.

00:22Almighty God and merciful Heavenly Father,
00:25we thank you and we praise you
00:28for the blessed and beautiful morning that you have given to us.
00:33Dear God,
00:34this morning as we prepare our hearts for your word,
00:38we pray and we ask you
00:40that you will give your word for us
00:43and strengthen us
00:45and guide and lead us for your heavenly coming.
00:50Lord, open our hearts,
00:53open our ears
00:54and open our eyes
00:57that we might concentrate on your holy word as you speak.

01:07This morning, if you have your Bible with me,
01:11turn with me to the gospel of Luke chapter 22
01:15from verse 39 to verse 46.
01:21This morning, we're going to talk on the topic of
01:24the Garden of Gethsemane.
01:28There are two kinds of garden in the Bible.
01:31One is from the Old Testament.
01:33That's the Garden of Eden.
01:35In the second one,
01:37in the New Testament,
01:39is the Garden of Gethsemane.
01:43We'll just think about the differentiation
01:46between the Garden of Eden
01:48and the Garden of Gethsemane.
01:51In the Garden of Eden,
01:52that Adam had sinned
01:55and in the Gethsemane,
01:57that the Savior, Jesus Christ,
02:00has overcome the sin.
02:02In the Garden of Eden,
02:04that Adam fell in his spiritual life.
02:07In the Garden of Gethsemane,
02:10Jesus had conquered.
02:13In the Garden of Eden,
02:14that Adam hid himself
02:16when he heard the voice of the Lord,
02:19could not able to be present
02:21before the Lord.
02:23In the Garden of Gethsemane,
02:25our Lord Jesus Christ,
02:27boldly presented himself
02:28before the Father
02:30for all of our sins.
02:35This morning,
02:36as we turn to Luke's Gospel,
02:38chapter 22,
02:40and verse from 39 on,
02:44that Jesus had took up his disciples
02:46and he went
02:47to the place called Gethsemane.
02:52Gethsemane is a place
02:54where there were
02:55many kinds of an olive trees.
02:58as the Bible scholars
03:01and the scientists,
03:02they prove
03:04still today,
03:05that there were some olive trees
03:08which are being
03:10existed from
03:12several thousands
03:13and hundreds of years ago.
03:16They still been
03:17in the Garden of Gethsemane.
03:20And in the Garden of Gethsemane,
03:22there will be
03:24the extraction
03:25of oil
03:26from the olives.
03:29So the fresh
03:30olive oil
03:31has been
03:32extracted
03:33from this garden.
03:36We will study
03:37this morning
03:37on the place
03:39called
03:39the Garden
03:40of Gethsemane.
03:42Number one,
03:43the Garden
03:44of Gethsemane,
03:45it is the place
03:46of a solitude.
03:48Luke chapter 22
03:50and verse 39,
03:51And he came out
03:53and went
03:53as he want
03:54to the Mount
03:56of Olives
03:56and his disciples
03:57also followed him.
04:00And he said to them,
04:01Pray that he

04:03into temptation.
04:05He was withdrawn

04:12Jesus had not only

04:31to the Garden
04:33of Gethsemane

04:37that they might
04:38not enter
04:38into temptation
04:39and he just
04:40moved forward
04:41to pray
04:42to his father.
04:45Remember
04:46brothers and
04:46sisters,
04:47through all
04:47the ministry
04:48of the Lord
04:49Jesus Christ
04:50about three
04:50half years
04:53that Jesus
04:55had always
04:56prayed
04:57to his father
04:59alone.
05:01In Matthew
05:02chapter 6
05:02Jesus has
05:04given the
05:04pattern of
05:05prayer
05:06and how
05:07we can pray
05:07to God
05:08he said this
05:08way,
05:09whenever you
05:10pray to God
05:11you enter up
05:12in your room
05:13and close
05:13up the doors
05:14and pray
05:14to the father
05:15who is in
05:15heaven
05:16who shall
05:17hear your
05:18prayer.
05:20And in
05:20Mark chapter 1
05:21and verse 35
05:22the Bible
05:23says that
05:23Jesus rose
05:24up early
05:24in the morning
05:25even it
05:26was dark
05:27he went
05:28to a lonely
05:29place to
05:29pray to
05:30his father.
05:33Just as
05:34the same
05:34way in
05:35the Garden
05:35of Gethsemane
05:36too that
05:37Jesus asked
05:37his disciples
05:38to pray

05:40might not
05:41enter into
05:42temptation
