00:01you prayed and nothing changed.
00:06You know, that's one of the hardest things a person can feel
00:10is the silence that comes after a real prayer.
00:14Now, I'm not talking about a casual prayer.
00:16I mean the kind you prayed when your heart was all the way in it.
00:21The kind where you were honest, you were hurting,
00:25you asked God for help because you did not know what else to do.
00:31Then you waited and waited,
00:34and somehow the same problem was still there.
00:38The pain was still there.
00:41The fear, still there.
00:44Pressure, still there.
00:47The situation did not move.
00:50The door did not open, or the answer did not come.
00:56Now, that can do something to a person.
00:58Trust me, I know.
01:00It can make you feel tired in a deep place.
01:03It can make you wonder what you're supposed to do
01:06when you really did pray and nothing seems to be changing.
01:12That's where a lot of people are right now.
01:16They're not cold toward God,
01:19and they're not trying to run from Him.
01:22They're just worn down.
01:25They asked.
01:26They hoped.
01:27They trusted as much as they knew how.
01:32They keep believing,
01:34and then the days pass.
01:37Then more days pass.
01:39Then the thing they were praying about
01:42starts to feel heavier, not lighter.
01:45Now, they're carrying disappointment
01:48on top of the original burden.
01:51That's what hurts so much.
01:54It's not just the problem itself.
01:56It's the silence around it.
01:59It's the feeling that you brought something real to God,
02:03and life, well, life still looks the same.
02:08And a lot of people hear shallow answers at that point.
02:12And you know what?
02:14Those do not help.
02:16Somebody says, you just need more faith.
02:19Or somebody says, maybe you're not praying right.
02:23Or somebody says, God is working.
02:26Just hold on.
02:27But they say it in a way that feels too clean
02:30for the pain that you're currently in.
02:33When you're really hurting,
02:36fake, easy answers can make it worse.
02:39They can make you feel more alone.
02:42They can make you feel like there is
02:44no room to tell the truth.
02:47So, let me just say this plainly.
02:50Listen up.
02:51It hurts when you pray and nothing changes.
02:56It hurts when you cry out and the situation stays heavy.
03:01It hurts when you're trying to trust God
03:04and your real life still feels stuck.
03:09I understand because that pain, that pain is real.
03:15You know, the mistake a lot of people make
03:17is thinking that silence means God is absent.
03:22I understand why they think that.
03:24Because when you're in it, the silence feels personal.
03:28It feels like distance.
03:30It feels like being overlooked.
03:33But silence is not always absence.
03:38Sometimes, silence is the place where your faith
03:42stops being built on quick relief
03:44and starts being built on who Jesus really is.
03:49And that's not a small thing, you see.
03:53Anybody can feel strong when the answers come fast.
03:57Anybody can feel full of hope
04:00when the breakthrough shows up right away.
04:10Now, that's where this gets real, right?
04:14Because nothing changes on the outside.
04:17Something inside you starts getting tested.
04:20You start finding out what you really believe about Jesus.
04:27Not what you say in easier moments
04:29and not what sounds right when you're at church.
04:33What you really believe when life is still heavy
04:37and your prayer still feels unanswered.
04:41Do you believe he is still good when you're there?
04:45Do you believe he is still near?
04:48Do you believe he is still working?
04:52Do you believe he is still Christ?
04:56And I think part of the struggle is that
05:05people want Jesus to prove himself
05:08by changing the situation fast.
05:10And sometimes he does.
05:13Thank God for that.
05:15But sometimes he does something deeper first.
05:19He keeps you.
05:21He holds you together.
05:22He stops you from collapsing all the way.
05:26And he gives you enough strength for one more day.
05:30When you thought you had no more left.
05:35He stays with you in the pain
05:37before he changes the pain sometimes.
05:40Now, that does not always feel dramatic.
05:43And sometimes it feels almost too small to count.
05:47But it matters.
05:50If you are still here,
05:51still praying,
05:53still holding on,
05:55still trying not to go numb,
05:58that matters.
06:01You see,
06:02there are people listening right now
06:04who are tired of carrying the same thing.
06:07Tired of praying about the same relationship,
06:11the same money problem,
06:13the same fear,
06:14the same grief,
06:16or the same mental battle.
06:18And they still have the same unanswered question.
06:23They feel embarrassed that they are still struggling with it.
06:27They feel worn down because they thought they would be further by now.
06:33Maybe that is you.
06:36Maybe you thought by now God would have changed the situation.
06:41But here you are.
06:43And it still hurts.
06:45So, what do you do when you pray and nothing changes?
06:49You keep bringing the real thing to Jesus.
06:54Not the polished version and not the cleaned up church version.
06:59The real thing.
07:01The tired thing.
07:02The disappointed thing.
07:05The confused thing.
07:07The part of you that does not understand why the answer has not yet come.
07:13The part of you that is tempted to shut down.
07:17The part of you that wants to stop hoping because hoping feels expensive right now.
07:34You also stop measuring God's presence by visible results because that can trap you.
07:42If the only way you believe in Jesus is the problem disappears fast,
07:48then your heart is going to stay on a roller coaster.
07:51But Jesus is not small enough to be reduced to immediate results.
07:58He's with people in hospital rooms.
08:01He's with people in financial stress.
08:04He's with people in grief.
08:07He's with people in long seasons of waiting.
08:11And he's with people whose prayer feels like it's not being answered.
08:17He is with people who are trying to hold on, who are shaking.
08:23His presence is not canceled just because your answer is delayed.
08:29And sometimes, what you do is simpler than people want it to be.
08:35Sometimes, you breathe.
08:39Sometimes, you pray one honest sentence instead of trying to sound strong.
08:44Sometimes, you open your Bible, even when you do not feel much.
08:50Sometimes, you say,
08:52Jesus, I do not understand this, but I'm not walking away from you.
08:59And you know what?
09:01That kind of prayer matters.
09:04That kind of honesty matters.
09:07That kind of faith matters.
09:10Now, it may not look impressive to the world, but it is real.
09:17And I think a lot of people need to hear that.
09:20Delayed answers do not mean you were foolish for praying.
09:24They do not mean God is ignoring you.
09:27They do not mean your tears mean nothing.
09:30They do not mean your faith was wasted.
09:35Sometimes, the hardest seasons are the ones where Jesus becomes more than an idea.
09:42He becomes the only reason you did not completely break.
09:46He becomes the one steady thing in a life that still feels unsteady.
09:53He becomes the one who kept your heart alive when everything around you felt heavy.
10:01So, if you're in that place right now, do not let the silence convince you that Jesus is gone.
10:09Do not let the delay tell you that God doesn't care.
10:13Do not let the unchanged situation become the only truth you're listening to.
10:18It hurts, and yes, it's hard, and it can wear you down.
10:25But Jesus is still near, in the middle of what has not changed yet.
10:32And maybe, maybe that's the word for somebody today.
10:36Not that everything is about to change by tonight.
10:40Not a fake promise or a polished answer.
10:44Just this simple truth.
10:47The fact that nothing seems to be changing does not mean nothing is happening.
10:54God can be holding you in ways that you do not yet fully see.
10:59Christ can be keeping you in ways that matter more than you realize right now.
11:06The silence may be real, but it's not the whole story.
11:11And it does not mean that big things are not coming your way.
11:18So, keep coming to Him.
11:21Keep being honest with Him.
11:23Keep bringing Him the burden.
11:26Even if it's the same burden again and again.
11:30Keep refusing the lie that your unanswered prayer means you are abandoned.
11:36You may feel tired.
11:39You may feel disappointed.
11:41You may feel like you are barely holding on.
11:45But if you are still turning toward Jesus in the middle of that,
11:50you're not finished.
11:52You're not forgotten.
11:54And you are not alone.
12:06God bless every single one of you.
12:10Every single one.
12:13And I'm going to pray for you and your needs as well.
12:16So, now that there's both of us asking Jesus for what it is you need,
12:21can't get much better than that.
12:24Everybody else who watches this video,
12:27let's all pray for each other.
12:30And watch a miracle happen.
12:33God bless you.
12:35Bye-bye.
12:38Bye-bye.
