00:00Hey friends, just wanted to talk to you this morning.
00:03I wanted to remind you that God is closer than you feel right now.
00:09You know, there are moments when you may not feel as close to God as you want to feel,
00:15but that does not mean he is far away.
00:19You see, sometimes life gets heavy.
00:22Sometimes your mind gets tired.
00:25Sometimes your heart has been carrying more than you actually realize.
00:30And in those moments, God is not looking at you with disappointment.
00:35He is meeting you with patience, mercy, and love.
00:40And I guarantee that.
00:42You see, I wanted this message this morning to feel like a hand on your shoulder today.
00:48Not pressure and not guilt.
00:51Not someone telling you to try harder.
00:54Just a steady reminder that God has not left you.
01:17You see, faith does not always feel loud.
01:21I know people are told all the time, well, if you have faith, you're going to feel it all the
01:26time.
01:27But you know what?
01:28Listen to this.
01:30Sometimes faith is peaceful.
01:33Sometimes it's just joyful.
01:36Sometimes it's full of gratitude.
01:38And sometimes faith is simply your heart turning toward God again and saying,
01:46I trust you.
01:48I still need you.
01:50And I still want to walk with you, Lord.
01:53And that matters more than you'll ever know.
01:57Because you see, God is not only near when your emotions are high.
02:01He is not only near when your worship feels powerful or prayer feels easy.
02:08He is near in the ordinary moments, too.
02:12He's near when you are driving alone.
02:15He's near when you are sitting quietly at the end of a long day.
02:20He's near when you do not know what to say.
02:23But your heart is still open to Him.
02:27And that's the beautiful thing about our God's love.
02:31It does not depend on how strong you feel in the moment.
02:35His faithfulness is steady.
02:37His mercy is steady.
02:39His patience is steady.
02:42And the same God who was with you when your faith felt alive
02:46is still with you when your faith feels tired.
02:50He has not changed just because your feelings have shifted.
02:55And sometimes we think we need to feel a certain way before we can come to God.
03:00We think we need to be more focused, more joyful, more confident, or more spiritually strong.
03:08But Jesus never asked tired people to pretend they were not tired.
03:14He said,
03:15Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden.
03:20And I will give you rest.
03:23Now, that invitation is so gentle.
03:26It's not a threat or a demand.
03:29It's the voice of our Savior,
03:31who knows how much you have been carrying.
03:34So, today, you can come to Him honestly.
03:40You don't have to dress up your words.
03:42You don't have to make your prayer sound perfect.
03:45You can simply say,
03:48Lord, I am here.
03:51Thank you for being here with me.
03:54And that kind of prayer,
03:56I know it may sound small.
03:58But you know what?
04:00Small, honest prayers often open the door to deep peace.
04:05And God can do beautiful work in quiet seasons.
04:09When you do not feel much happening,
04:12He may still be strengthening your roots.
04:14He may be teaching your heart to rest in Him
04:18in a much deeper way.
04:20He may be helping you to learn His presence is bigger than
04:24just one little feeling.
04:27And His love,
04:28stronger than your passing emotions.
04:32And there is hope in that, isn't there?
04:35There's peace in knowing that you don't have to carry
04:38the whole weight of your faith by yourself.
04:42God is the one who holds you.
04:44God is the one who draws you close.
04:47God is the one who finishes what He begins.
04:53Your part today may simply be to stay open,
04:58stay honest,
04:59and take the next small step with Him.
05:04And please hear this in the kindest way.
05:08You are not behind because you are tired.
05:11You are not a failure because you've had quiet days.
05:15You are not forgotten because you are still waiting for clarity.
05:21God sees the sincerest parts of your heart
05:24that nobody else sees.
05:26He sees the prayers you're trying to pray.
05:31He sees the tears that you've wiped away.
05:34He sees the way you keep going,
05:37even when no one else knows what it is costing you.
05:42That matters to Him.
05:44Your faith is not measured only by how you feel on your strongest day.
05:50Sometimes it's seen in the way you keep turning back to God in simple trust.
05:57Sometimes it's seen in the way you choose hope again.
06:00Sometimes it's seen in the quiet decision to believe that God is still good,
06:06still near,
06:07and still working even when life feels uncertain.
06:12You see,
06:14God is closer than your feelings can measure.
06:18And that's the anchor line I want you to hold on to today.

06:30He's not pushed away by your weariness.
06:33And He's not confused by your questions.
06:36He knows you fully.
06:39And He loves you steadily.
06:43So, I want you to take a breath.
06:45You know, you don't have to fix everything today.
06:48You don't have to understand everything today.
06:52You don't have to feel spiritually impressive today.
06:57You can simply receive the truth that God is with you right now.
07:03His grace is enough for this day.
07:06His presence is enough for this moment.
07:10And His hand,
07:11well,
07:13His hand is steady enough for your road ahead.
07:16Maybe the next step is not complicated.
07:20Maybe it's opening your heart again with a very simple prayer.
07:24Maybe it's reading one verse and letting it sit with you.
07:29Maybe it's just thanking God for one thing,
07:34even if life still feels unfinished.
07:37Maybe it's choosing not to give up on a relationship
07:41just because the season feels quieter than you expected.
07:47You see,
07:48God knows how to lead people through those quiet places.
07:51He knows how to restore strength slowly.
07:55He knows how to bring peace back into rooms of the heart
07:59that have felt unsettled for a long time.
08:04And He does not rush you with harshness.
08:07He walks with you in love.
08:11So, if your faith feels quiet today,
08:14do not be afraid.
08:17Because quiet,
08:19well,
08:19with our God,
08:21quiet does not mean empty.
08:24Tired does not mean lost.
08:27Waiting does not mean forgotten.
08:30God is still near you.
08:32Jesus is still gentle.
08:35And grace is still reaching
08:38for you.
08:40You're allowed to begin again today.
08:43Not with pressure,
08:45but with trust.
08:47Not with fear,
08:49but with hope.
08:51Not because you have everything figured out right now,
08:54but because God is good enough to guide you
08:58one step at a time.
