00:00Hi there. A warm and sunny day for the vast majority with high pressure still dominating
00:06the weather across the UK. And with lighter winds as well we're going to see low cloud
00:11mostly restricted to coastal parts of northeast Scotland, the east of England as well where
00:18low cloud will still hug the coast. But inland it's widely sunny skies for the vast majority.
00:24It's still breezy towards the southwest but not quite as breezy as it has been.
00:28And lighter winds elsewhere will mean a warmer feel, particularly for the northeast compared
00:33with recent days. It's still cooler along that North Sea coast but not as chilly as it
00:40has been. And inland temperatures widely. High teens, low 20s, warmer spots, West Wales, northwest
00:46England, western parts of Northern Ireland. Now through the evening we're going to see
00:51a subtle change take place across the north of Scotland. Northerly winds strengthen, bringing
00:56cloudier skies into the northeast and east of Scotland. And some showers for Shetland as
01:01well as Orkney. We'll also see a return to low cloud mist and fog into the east of England.
01:06Frost in places as temperatures fall away. Less frosty towards the west and southwest because
01:13of cloudier skies pushing in. And some showers reaching the far southwest of Cornwall. Not a
01:20great deal of rain though. And the showers fade away through the morning. Although cloudier
01:26conditions will reach Northern Ireland and some cloud will push through Wales into the
01:31Midlands as well as the southeast for a time. We'll also see a continuation of the northerly
01:36winds across the north and east of Scotland with cloudy conditions here and the odd shower.
01:41Odd shower as well for parts of Northern Ireland. But these are the exceptions. For the vast majority,
01:46it's going to be another dry and bright day. Feeling notably cooler once again along the east and
01:51northeast of the country. Elsewhere, temperatures once more. High teens, low twenties with plenty
01:58more strong sunshine. Watch out for UV levels if you're spending long periods outdoors this weekend
02:04because the sun is strong. High UV levels in parts of the west and south, moderate elsewhere.
02:10Now into the evening on Saturday, a return to the low cloud in the east and northeast. Patchy
02:16cloud elsewhere and generally a cloudier start to Sunday. But Sunday once again is a largely dry
02:21and bright day.
