00:07was one of three people shot dead at his home along Sunset Drive, Lachus Road, Pinal.
00:13Burke and two of his closest friends were liming around 3 a.m. in the downstairs apartment of this house,
00:20when a relative asleep upstairs reported being awoken by the sound of several loud explosions.
00:26Checks shortly afterwards led to the discovery of the three friends dead lying in pools of blood.
00:34Their bodies bore gunshot wounds.
00:36Seventeen-year-old Jordan Cojo Burke was found leaning on the base of a bed.
00:41Twenty-one-year-old Ishmael Matthews of Smart Avenue, Lachus Road, Pinal, was on his back on the floor,
00:48while twenty-one-year-old Roberto Samuel Carlos of Corinth Hill, San Fernando, was found lying underneath a bed.
00:56Investigators say twelve live nine-millimeter rounds and ten spent nine-millimeter casings were recovered at the scene.
01:03Relatives of Burke say the Form 5 student of St. Benedict's College,
01:08though on bail for the possession of counterfeit money, was a bright student and a good child.

01:38The relative says far too many children are disrespectful and lack proper discipline,
01:44and it shows in the level and nature of crime in the country.
01:48Meanwhile, over in Smart Avenue at the home of Ishmael Matthews, his aunt says,
01:54the friends never got a chance at life to live and call the killings unfair.
02:00You see, the three of them is like three musketeers.
02:03They're always together, and the home base was always Jordan's home.
02:08So there was always one.
02:10I can't pinpoint and say it was one, but like I say, all of them was friends.
02:15So whatever had to go down, I want to believe, well, it's everybody.
02:20But I can't pinpoint one and say, well, the target was one or the target was the next one.

02:26It's unbelievable and ridiculousness because these is youth.
