00:01:24made heaven and earth. Lord, for us your wounds were suffered. O Christ Jesus, have mercy on us.
00:02:00Blessed is he who trusts in God Almighty, and he who hopes in God's most gracious mercy.
00:02:15He shall acknowledge God is my protector. In life's dark journey, I shall fear no danger.
00:02:32I shall fear no danger. From all the powers of evil, God shall save him.
00:02:46Under the pinions of the Lord Almighty, in God's protection, he shall dwell in safety.
00:03:11He shall dwell in safety. God's mighty strength shall be his shield and buckler,
00:03:26and shall protect him from all nightly danger.
00:03:35Thousand shall fall, yet he shall wait without fear. Kept from the arrows of the foe that is near.
00:03:50Of the foe that is near.
00:04:00Good evening, my dear brothers and sisters, all those who are with us virtually as well,
00:04:05as today we join together to celebrate the beginning of the Paschal Triduum,
00:04:12this time in which we walk with our Lord and Savior through his Last Supper, his arrest,
00:04:21his trial, his journey to the cross, his execution, his death, and his burial,
00:04:29so that we may arrive, if we walk with him, at the joy of his resurrection.
00:04:36Today's Holy Mass is offered for all of our parishioners, all of the members of our Holy Church
00:04:41here in Schenectady, as well as for all of our loved ones and all of our benefactors.
00:04:47Today's Holy Mass, the contemporary rite, found in your pew missile on page 63,
00:04:54as well as in your program booklets.
00:04:56In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
00:05:00Amen.
00:05:01Lord, bless us with the wisdom to praise you in spirit and in truth,
00:05:05so that by following your holy will, we may gain eternal salvation.
00:05:09Amen.
00:05:10My dear brothers and sisters, let's now pause to confess our sins to God
00:05:14and prepare ourselves so that we may worthily participate in this holy sacrifice.
00:05:20Please now complete your examination of conscience,
00:05:23confessing your sins privately to God, and seeking his forgiveness.
00:05:41Have we called our sinfulness, and seeking reconciliation with God and each other,
00:05:46let us now recite the second form of the Confidure, found on page 66.
00:05:51I confess to Almighty God, in the presence of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
00:05:57all the saints, and you, my brothers and sisters,
00:06:00that I have sinned through my own fault, in my thoughts, in my words,
00:06:05in what I have done or failed to do.
00:06:08I ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, all the saints, and you, my brothers and sisters,
00:06:13to pray for me to the Lord our God.
00:06:16This evening, as an act of penance before we go to bed,
00:06:20let us just repeatedly thank Jesus for the wonderful gifts that he has left us on this very night.
00:06:29The gift of his body and blood, the gift of forgiveness through the sacrament of penance,
00:06:35and the gift of the holy priesthood.
00:06:37And so, in thanking him, realize the great love he has for us.
00:06:43May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life.
00:06:48May our Lord Jesus Christ absolve you with his authority vested in me.
00:06:52I absolve you from all your sins.
00:06:54In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
00:07:00May you be blessed by him in whose honor thou art burnt.
00:07:20May you be blessed by your Lord, and of the Son, and of the Son, and of the Son.
00:07:27Boo!
00:07:35May have mercy on his throne.
00:07:36May have mercy on yourPER, for all your grace to come and have mercy on your hand,
00:07:48may have mercy on him.
00:08:10May I never boast of anything
00:08:12but the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,
00:08:15through which the world has been crucified to me
00:08:18and I to the world.
00:08:20May God have pity on us and bless us.
00:08:23May he let his face shine upon us.

00:13:53We have assembled to share in the sacred mystery of the body and blood, which your only Son instituted to
00:14:00reveal his love.
00:14:02We pray that this Eucharist may draw us ever closer to you.
00:14:07We ask this through the same Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you in the Holy Spirit, one God,
00:14:16forever and ever.
00:14:20Amen.
00:14:23Let's now be seated and attentive to the Lord's Word.
00:14:36Our first reading for this Holy Mass is taken from the book of Exodus.
00:14:42The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt,
00:14:46This month shall stand at the head of your calendar.
00:14:50You shall reckon it the first month of the year.
00:14:53Tell the whole community of Israel,
00:14:56On the tenth of this month, every one of your families must procure for itself a lamb, one apiece for
00:15:03each household.
00:15:04If a family is too small for a whole lamb, it shall join the nearest household in procuring one,
00:15:11and shall share in the lamb in proportion to the number of persons who partake of it.
00:15:16The lamb must be a year-old male, and without blemish.
00:15:20You may take it from either the sheep or the goats.
00:15:23You shall keep it until the fourteenth day of this month.
00:15:27And then, with the whole assembly of Israel present, it shall be slaughtered during the evening twilight.
00:15:34They shall take some of its blood and apply it to the two doorposts and the lintel of every home
00:15:40in which they partake of the lamb.
00:15:43That same night they shall eat its roasted flesh with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
00:15:49This is how you are to eat it, with your loins girt, sandals on your feet, and your staff in
00:15:56hand.
00:15:56You shall eat like those who are in flight.
00:15:59It is the Passover of the Lord.
00:16:02For on this same night I will go through Egypt, striking down every firstborn of the land,
00:16:08both man and beast, and executing judgment on all the gods of Egypt, I, the Lord.
00:16:15But the blood will mark the houses where you are.
00:16:19Seeing the blood, I will pass over you.
00:16:23Thus, when I strike the land of Egypt, no destructive blow will come upon you.
00:16:28This day shall be a memorial feast for you,
00:16:31which all your generation shall celebrate with pilgrimage to the Lord as a perpetual institution.
00:16:39This is the word of the Lord.
00:16:41Thanks be to God.
00:16:43Our responsorial psalm.
00:16:45Our blessing cup is a communion with the blood of Christ.
00:16:49Our blessing cup is a communion with the blood of Christ.
00:16:53How shall I make a return to the Lord for all the good he has done for me?
00:16:58The cup of salvation I will take up, and I will call upon the name of the Lord.
00:17:04Our blessing cup is a communion with the blood of Christ.
00:17:08Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his faithful ones.
00:17:12I am your servant, the son of your handmaid.
00:17:15You have loosed my bonds.
00:17:18Our blessing cup is a communion with the blood of Christ.
00:17:22To you will I offer sacrifice of thanksgiving,
00:17:25and I will call upon the name of the Lord.
00:17:28My vows to the Lord I will pay in the presence of all his people.
00:17:33Our blessing cup is a communion with the blood of Christ.
00:17:38Our epistle for this evening is taken from the first letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians.
00:17:44Brothers and sisters,
00:17:47I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you,
00:17:50that the Lord Jesus, on the night he was handed over, took bread,
00:17:55and after he had given thanks, broke it and said,
00:17:58This is my body that is for you.
00:18:01Do this in remembrance of me.
00:18:03In the same way, also the cup after supper, saying,
00:18:07This cup is the new covenant in my blood.
00:18:10Do this as often as you drink it in remembrance of me.
00:18:14For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup,
00:18:18you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes.
00:18:21This is the word of the Lord.
00:18:24Thanks be to God.
00:18:31Please rise for the tract.
00:18:34I give you a new commandment.
00:18:36Love one another as I have loved you,
00:18:39so you also should love one another.
00:18:42Father, this is how all will know that you are my disciples,
00:18:46if you have love for one another.
00:18:51The Lord be my heart and my lips and my word
00:18:54that proclaim this holy gospel through Jesus Christ our Lord.
00:18:56Amen.
00:19:10The Lord be with you.
00:19:13A reading from the holy gospel according to St. John.
00:19:17Glory be to you, O Lord.
00:19:19Before the feast of Passover,
00:19:21Jesus knew that his hour had come
00:19:24to pass from this world to the Father.
00:19:27He loved his own who were in the world,
00:19:29and he loved them to the end.
00:19:31The devil had already induced Judas,
00:19:34son of Simon the Iscariot,
00:19:35to hand him over.
00:19:37So during supper,
00:19:38fully aware that the Father had put everything into his power
00:19:42and that he had come from God
00:19:44and was returning to God,
00:19:46he rose from supper
00:19:47and took off his outer garments.
00:19:50He took a towel
00:19:51and tied it around his waist.
00:19:53Then he poured water into a basin
00:19:55and began to wash the disciples' feet
00:19:58and dry them with the towel around his waist.
00:20:01He came to Simon Peter,
00:20:03who said to him,
00:20:05Master, are you going to wash my feet?
00:20:07Jesus answered and said to him,
00:20:10What I am doing you do not understand now,
00:20:12but you will understand later.
00:20:15Peter said to him,
00:20:16You will never wash my feet.
00:20:18Jesus answered him,
00:20:20Unless I wash you,
00:20:21you will have no inheritance with me.
00:20:24Simon Peter said to him,
00:20:26Master, then not only my feet,
00:20:28but my hands and head as well.
00:20:31Jesus said to him,
00:20:32Whoever has bathed has no need
00:20:34except to have his feet washed,
00:20:36for he is clean all over.
00:20:38So you are clean,
00:20:39but not all.
00:20:41For he knew who would betray him.
00:20:43For this reason he said,
00:20:45Not all of you are clean.
00:20:47So when he had washed their feet,
00:20:49he put his garments back on
00:20:51and reclined at table again.
00:20:52He said to them,
00:20:54Do you realize what I have done for you?
00:20:57You call me teacher and master,
00:20:59and rightly so,
00:21:01for indeed I am.
00:21:02If I therefore the master and teacher
00:21:04have washed your feet,
00:21:06you ought to wash one another's feet.
00:21:08I have given you a model to follow,
00:21:10so that as I have done for you,
00:21:13you should also do.
00:21:15This is the gospel of the Lord.
00:21:19Praise be to you, O Lord Jesus Christ.
00:21:22Amen.
00:21:39Amen.
00:21:40Amen.
00:21:41Amen.
00:21:41Amen.
00:21:46Amen.
00:21:47your sevenfold gifts upon us. As we hear your word, O Salam, teach our hearts to know your
00:22:03wisdom. As we hear your word, O Salam, teach our hearts to know your wisdom.
00:22:32He said to them, Do you realize what I have done for you? You call me teacher and master,
00:22:40and rightly so, for indeed I am. If I therefore the master and teacher have washed your feet,
00:22:46you ought to wash one another's feet. I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have
00:22:52done for
00:22:52you, you should also do. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
00:22:58amen. I
00:23:00suppose as we live our lives, many of us think, or at least have thought at some time in our
00:23:08lives,
00:23:08about what we will leave behind. As a young person, perhaps, we might consider the mark that we will
00:23:18leave on the world. As athletes, we consider, will I make the winning goal the perfect tackle or the
00:23:26crucial kick? As medical professionals or as first responders, we think about the lives we might save
00:23:36and improve. As parents, of course, it is our children and our grandchildren and perhaps even great
00:23:45grandchildren. As employees or business owners, we think about the impact we make through our work, through
00:23:54our business, not only on customers, but also on each other as co-workers. Even in preparing for eventual death,
00:24:05we consider who gets what. Not merely from a financial perspective, that's important, of course, but
00:24:13more from a legacy perspective. What I will leave somebody as a memory of myself, that we might be
00:24:21remembered for our kindness. For people like me, clergy in our holy church, it is the lives we touch
00:24:30through our faith leadership and our example. Hopefully it's good. The souls that we bring to salvation
00:24:39in Christ Jesus through our ministry. On this night and the years leading up to it, Jesus too considered
00:24:50those things his legacy. He had no money or possessions to leave. He had no children in the biological sense
00:25:01as a heritage. Rather, what he had was the world and the universe. All of us were his and are
00:25:17his.
00:25:17It is those who came before us and even those who will come after us. Jesus provided us, of course,
00:25:28his
00:25:28teachings, the gospel message along the way that he traveled. And he brought those with him who would
00:25:36remember and who would record that gospel message for us. On this night of supreme love, he determined to
00:25:46give us gifts that would give us gifts that would never fail, that would never rust, that would never
00:25:53decay. He gave us first and foremost his body and his blood, the permanent gift of his presence so that
00:26:04we might take him into ourselves and be changed into the image of what we consume. He gave us this
00:26:13evening
00:26:14the holy priesthood so that through the ministerial action of the sacramental priest, we might continue
00:26:21to learn his teaching and celebrate his eternal moment. He left us freedom from sin's death, the washing of
00:26:34sacramental penance so that his sacrifice on the cross would never lose its meaning. As we together
00:26:46journey with him tonight through what he has left us, penance, the word of God, and the Eucharist,
00:26:56as we receive him in holy communion. And we then head out, out to the garden for his arrest, his
00:27:09beatings, his interrogation, and his imprisonment. Let us ever give thanks for what he left behind,
00:27:20what he left for us. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
00:27:25Amen.
00:27:44Let us now rise and together profess our faith. I believe in one God, the Father,
00:27:53the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. I believe in one Lord,
00:28:00Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, light from light,
00:28:08true God from true God, begotten, not made of one being with the Father. Through him all things are made
00:28:15for us and for our salvation. He came down from heaven by the power of the Holy Spirit. He was
00:28:22born
00:28:22of the Virgin Mary and became man. For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate. He suffered
00:28:32death and was buried. On the third day, he rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures. He ascended
00:28:38into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to grudge
00:28:44the
00:28:45living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and
00:28:51giver
00:28:52of life, who proceeds from the Father with the Father and the Son. He is worshiped and glorified.
00:28:58He has spoken through the prophets. I believe in one holy Catholic and apostolic church. I acknowledge
00:29:05one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. I look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the
00:29:12world to come. Amen. The Lord be with you. Let us pray. The Lord's right hand is raised. The Lord's
00:29:26right hand strikes with power. I shall not die, but live and declare the deeds of the Lord. May please
00:29:34be
00:29:34seated.
00:29:48Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Lamb of God, who want to serve.
00:29:59Lord, Lord, give us a little good of all creation. Forgive us. We have this bread to
00:30:02offer, which earth has given in human hands. I may come for us the bread of life.
00:30:09Amen.
00:30:13For the sins in which all men would languish
00:30:22By the mystery of this wine and water
00:30:27We come to share the day of Christ, who will help us
00:30:29To share in our humanity
00:30:38Bless you, Lord, in all creation
00:30:40We have this wine to offer through the vine and work of human hands
00:30:44To become our spiritual drink
00:30:46God bless you, Lord, in all life's brilliance
00:30:49Now in darkness lying
00:30:55Then the Lord is last worth seeing
00:31:00God bless you, Lord, in all creation
00:31:02We are humbled and contrayed hearts
00:31:05From the Holy Spirit
00:31:06And bless the servants which we have prepared
00:31:08For the glory of your holy name
00:31:10Father, Mother, for her son's lamenting
00:31:18Barely living, standing there and grieving
00:31:27As the veil of life is closing
00:31:34Earth with open rocks are breaking
00:31:39The love of sinners
00:31:45Right and now believing
00:31:51As the earth is showing them her breathing
00:31:59At the end is died in tears too
00:32:07Blood and water crushing flow through
00:32:13Let the blood of tears this day flow from us
00:32:23Jesus, Jesus, Jesus
00:32:28Lord, wash my inequity, cleanse me from all my sin
00:32:41Receive this offering, most holy trinity
00:32:43Which make in memory of the passion, resurrection, and ascension
00:32:46Of our Lord Jesus Christ
00:32:47And in honor of the blessed Virgin Mary
00:32:50And all the saints
00:32:50May they whose memory we honor on earth
00:32:53Intercede for us in heaven
00:32:55Pray, my brothers and sisters
00:32:57That our sacrifice may be acceptable to God
00:32:59The Almighty Father
00:33:06Amen
00:33:14Almighty and everlasting God
00:33:17May this offering which Jesus Christ established before his passion
00:33:22And commanded to be commemorated until the end of time
00:33:27Both strengthen us in spirit
00:33:29And enkindle love in our hearts
00:33:32We ask this to the same Jesus Christ
00:33:35Who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit
00:33:38One God forever and ever
00:33:44Amen
00:33:47The Lord be with you
00:33:50And also with you
00:33:54Lift up your hearts
00:33:59We lift them up to the Lord
00:34:05Let us give thanks to the Lord our God
00:34:09It is right to give him thanks and praise
00:34:17Father, all-powerful and ever-living God
00:34:20We do well always and everywhere to give you thanks
00:34:24Through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord
00:34:29Having offered his life as a ransom for the sins of the world
00:34:34He reconciled us to you by the sacrifice of the cross
00:34:41He renews this sacrifice on our altars
00:34:44Through his priest in an unbloody manner
00:34:48Giving us himself as food in the most blessed sacrament
00:34:54Therefore with the angels and archangels
00:34:58With all the saints in the entire church
00:35:01We lift our hymn of praise to your glory
00:35:05Repeating unceasingly
00:35:12Holy Lord God of hosts
00:35:19Heavens and the earth are full
00:35:23Of the majesty of thy glory
00:35:29Hosanna in the highest
00:35:35Blessed is he who comes
00:35:39In the name of the Lord
00:35:44Hosanna in the highest

00:37:42And let it become for us
00:37:44The body and blood of your Son
00:37:46Our Lord, Jesus Christ
00:37:48The day before he suffered and died
00:37:52Our Lord desired to make his love
00:37:54Known to his disciples
00:37:55And all who would follow him
00:37:57He therefore instituted
00:37:59These sacred mysteries
00:38:01By which he joined himself with them
00:38:03Spiritually and bodily
00:38:05In his whole being
00:38:06And abides with us forever
00:38:11At that moment
00:38:12So sacred for all of humanity
00:38:15Jesus took bread into his holy hands
00:38:18And looking up to heaven
00:38:19To you, his Almighty Father
00:38:22Giving thanks to you
00:38:23He blessed it
00:38:28Broke it
00:38:28And gave it to his disciples
00:38:30Saying
00:38:31Take this, all of you, and eat it
00:38:34For this is my body
00:38:36Which is given for you
00:38:55When supper had ended
00:38:56He took the cup
00:38:57In the same way
00:38:59He gave you thanks
00:39:00Blessed it
00:39:01And gave it to his disciples
00:39:03Saying
00:39:04Take this, all of you
00:39:06And drink from it
00:39:07For this is the cup
00:39:09Of my blood
00:39:10The blood of the new
00:39:11And everlasting covenant
00:39:13Which shall be shed for you
00:39:15And for many
00:39:16For the forgiveness of sins
00:39:17As often as you do this
00:39:19Do it in remembrance of me
00:39:38Father, in celebration
00:39:39Of the memory of Jesus Christ
00:39:41Your Son
00:39:41We, your people
00:39:42Recall his passion
00:39:43Resurrection from the dead

00:39:55Look favorably
00:39:57On these offerings
00:39:57And accept them
00:39:58As you once accepted
00:39:59The gifts of your servant Abel
00:40:01The sacrifice of our father
00:40:03In faith Abraham
00:40:04And the bread and wine
00:40:05Offered by your priest
00:40:07Melchizedek
00:40:08In humility
00:40:09We ask, Father
00:40:10That these offerings
00:40:11Be carried by your angel
00:40:12To your high altar
00:40:13In heaven
00:40:14So that we
00:40:15Who receive the sacred body
00:40:16And blood of your son
00:40:17From this altar
00:40:18May be filled
00:40:19With your grace
00:40:20And blessing

00:40:41Departed loved ones
00:40:42And benefactors
00:40:44May these and all
00:40:45Who rest in Christ
00:40:46Find happiness
00:40:47Light and peace
00:40:48And we who trust
00:40:50In your love
00:40:50Also ask to me
00:40:51Include in the fellowship
00:40:52Of your holy apostles
00:40:54Martyrs and saints
00:40:55Who offered their lives
00:40:57To you
00:40:57They were filled
00:40:58With your justice
00:40:59And mercy
00:41:00Because they lived
00:41:01In accord with
00:41:02The teachings of Jesus
00:41:03Gained eternal joy
00:41:04Count us among them
00:41:06Father
00:41:06Not because of
00:41:07What we truly deserve
00:41:08But because you are
00:41:10Willing to forgive us
00:41:11We ask this in the name
00:41:12Of your Son
00:41:13Jesus Christ
00:41:14By whom you give us
00:41:15All these gifts
00:41:16You fill them with
00:41:17Life and goodness
00:41:18You bless them
00:41:20And make them holy
00:41:27Through him
00:41:28With him
00:41:29And in him
00:41:30In the unity
00:41:31Of the Holy Spirit
00:41:32All honor and glory
00:41:33Are yours
00:41:34Almighty Father
00:41:35Forever and ever
00:41:43Let us now rise
00:41:44And pray to the Father
00:41:45In confidence
00:41:46In the words
00:41:47Our Savior gave us
00:41:49Our Father
00:41:50Who art in heaven
00:41:52Hallowed be thy name
00:41:53Thy kingdom come
00:41:55Thy will be done
00:41:56On earth as it is in heaven
00:41:58Give us this day
00:42:00Our daily bread
00:42:01And forgive us
00:42:02Our trespasses
00:42:03As we forgive those
00:42:05Who trespass against us
00:42:07And lead us not
00:42:08Into temptation
00:42:09But deliver us
00:42:11From evil
00:42:12Deliver us Lord
00:42:13From every evil
00:42:14And grant us peace
00:42:15In our day
00:42:16In your mercy
00:42:17Keep us free from sin
00:42:19And protect us
00:42:20From all anxiety
00:42:21As we wait
00:42:22In joyful hope
00:42:23For the coming
00:42:24Of our Savior
00:42:25Jesus Christ
00:42:26For the kingdom
00:42:28The power
00:42:29And glory
00:42:30Are yours
00:42:32Amen
00:42:33The cup of blessing
00:42:35Which we bless
00:42:36Is it not a participation
00:42:38In the blood of Christ
00:42:39The bread
00:42:41Which we break
00:42:46Is it not a participation
00:42:47In the body of Christ
00:42:50Because there is one bread
00:42:51We who are many
00:42:53Are one body
00:42:54For we all partake
00:42:55Of the one bread
00:42:56May the union of divinity
00:42:58And humanity
00:42:59In Jesus Christ
00:43:01Bring us sanctification
00:43:02And eternal life
00:43:04Amen
00:43:06Lord Jesus Christ
00:43:07You said to your apostles
00:43:08I leave you peace
00:43:09My peace I give you
00:43:11Do not look at our sins
00:43:12But on the faith
00:43:13Of your church
00:43:14And grant us the peace
00:43:15And unity of your kingdom
00:43:16Where you live
00:43:18Forever and ever
00:43:18Amen
00:43:19The peace of the Lord
00:43:21Be with you always
00:43:22And also with you
00:43:24Let's offer each other
00:43:25A sign of Christ
00:43:26Peace
00:43:38You take away
00:43:40The sins of the world
00:43:41Have mercy on us

00:44:02By the will of the Father
00:44:04And the work of the Holy Spirit

00:44:29The bread of heaven
00:44:30And call upon the name
00:44:32Of the Lord
00:44:33Lord
00:44:34I am not worthy
00:44:35To receive you
00:44:36But only say the word
00:44:38And I shall be healed
00:44:41In the body of our Lord
00:44:42Jesus Christ
00:44:43Bring me to everlasting life

00:53:32in my blood. Do this as often as you drink it in remembrance of me.
00:53:37The Lord be with you. Let us pray.
00:53:48Father, we have been refreshed with this food of life, instituted this night by Jesus Christ.
00:53:56May we be more faithful in our endeavors and more persevering in our labors, so that we may be fully
00:54:05united with you in eternity.

00:54:16forever and ever.
00:54:25Please kneel.
00:54:26God bless you.
01:02:13too costly in the eyes of the Lord
01:02:16is the death of his faithful.
01:02:25I will offer sacrifice of thanksgiving
01:02:28and call on the name of the Lord.
01:02:31In the courts of the house of the Lord,
01:02:38in your midst, O Jerusalem,
01:02:40Hallelujah.
01:02:42I will take in my hands the cup of salvation
01:02:45and call the Lord by name.
01:02:50Among those who hated peace, I sought peace,
01:02:54but when I spoke of it, they were for war.
01:02:57The Lord answered me when I called in my distress.
01:03:06What will the Lord inflict on you, O treacherous tongue,
01:03:10and what more besides?
01:03:12A warrior with sharpened arrows and fiery coals of brushwood.
01:03:16Alas, I was an alien in Meshach, and I lived near the tents of Kadar.
01:03:23Among those who hated peace, I sought peace,
01:03:32but when I spoke of it, they were for war.
01:03:38Deliver me, Lord, from the wicked.
01:03:41Preserve me from the violent.
01:03:43Deliver me, Lord, from the wicked.
01:03:46Preserve me from the violent.
01:03:47From those who sharpened their tongues like serpents,
01:03:57venom of asps upon their lips.
01:04:00Salah.
01:04:00The arrogant have set a trap for me.
01:04:10Villains have spread a nut,
01:04:12laid snares for me by the wayside.
01:04:15Salah.
01:04:16I say to the Lord, you are my God.
01:04:19Listen, O Lord, to the words of my prayer.
01:04:23My revered Lord, my strong helper,
01:04:26my helmet on the day of battle.
01:04:29Lord, do not grant from the sight of the wicked.
01:04:32Do not let their thoughts succeed.
01:04:35Salah.
01:04:36Around me they raise their proud heads.
01:04:39May the mischief they threaten overwhelm them.
01:04:43May God, in burning coals upon them,
01:04:46pass them into the grave and the more for rise.
01:04:50Slanders will not survive on earth.
01:04:53Evil will quickly entrap the violent.
01:04:55By the name of the Lord will secure justice for the needy
01:04:59and the rights of the poor.
01:05:01Then the just will give thanks to your name.
01:05:05Deliver me, Lord, from the wicked.
01:05:08Preserve me from the violent.
01:05:15While they were at supper,
01:05:17Jesus took bread,
01:05:18said the blessing,
01:05:20broke it,
01:05:20and gave it to his disciples.
01:05:23My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord.
01:05:26My spirit rejoices in God, my Savior,
01:05:29for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant.
01:05:33From this day,
01:05:34all generations will call me blessed.
01:05:37Your name has done great things for me,
01:05:39and the whole existence of me.
01:05:41He has mercy on those who fear him in every generation.
01:05:45He has shown the strength of his arm.
01:05:48He has scattered the throne under his teaching.
01:05:51He has cast down the mighty from their thrones,
01:05:54and has lifted up the lowly.
01:05:56He has filled the hungry with good things,
01:05:59and the rich he has sent for the way of the field.
01:06:02He has come to the help of his servant Israel,
01:06:05for he has remembered his promise of mercy.
01:06:15While they were at supper,
01:06:17Jesus took bread,
01:06:18said the blessing,
01:06:19broke it,
01:06:20and gave it to his disciples.
01:06:26Christ humbled himself,
01:06:28becoming obedient to death.
01:06:30Have mercy on me, God,
01:06:32in your goodness,
01:06:33in your abundant compassion,
01:06:35blot out my offense.
01:06:40For I know my offense,
01:06:42my sin is always before me.
01:06:45That you are just in your sentence,
01:06:53blameless when you condemn.
01:07:01Still, you insist on sincerity of heart,
01:07:04in my inmost being,
01:07:06teach me wisdom.
01:07:08Let me hear sounds of joy and gladness.
01:07:18Let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
01:07:20Turn away, O days of my sins,
01:07:23black out all my guilt.
01:07:25A clean heart create for me, God.
01:07:28Renew in me a steadfast spirit.
01:07:30Do not drive me from your presence,
01:07:33nor take me from your Holy Spirit.
01:07:36Restore my joy in your salvation.
01:07:39Sustain in me a willing spirit.
01:07:41I will teach the wicked your ways,
01:07:44that sinners may return to you.
01:07:46Rescue me from death, God,
01:07:48my saving God,
01:07:50that my tongue may praise your healing power.
01:07:53Lord, open my lips,
01:07:55my mouth will,
01:07:56but in your praise.
01:07:58You do not desire sacrifice,
01:08:00a burnt offering you would not accept.
01:08:03My sacrifice, John,
01:08:05is a broken spirit,
01:08:06of God,
01:08:07who has burned,
01:08:08broken,
01:08:09humbled at heart.
01:08:10Christ humbled himself,
01:08:12becoming obedient to death.
01:08:18Let us pray.
01:08:20Lord, we ask you to look upon the family
01:08:23of your faithful people,
01:08:24for whom our Lord Jesus Christ
01:08:27did not resist betrayal
01:08:29into the hands of evil men
01:08:31or the torments of the cross
01:08:34in order to show us the way to salvation.
01:08:37Grant us faith in your infinite mercy,
01:08:40a love for truth,
01:08:42and the hope of eternal happiness.
01:08:44We ask this through the same Jesus Christ,
01:08:47who lives and reigns with you in the Holy Spirit,
01:08:50one God forever and ever.
01:08:52Amen.
01:09:23They divide my garments among them,
01:09:26for my clothing they cast lots.
01:09:29My God, my God,
01:09:31why have you abandoned me?
01:09:32Why so far from my call for help,
01:09:35from my cries of anguish?
01:09:37I am a hope,
01:09:40that you united,
01:09:42for my death,
01:09:43that I have a holy used,
01:09:45yet you hurt from,
01:09:47that's a whole form,
01:09:49I can't believe in the glory,
01:09:50that you are a human,
01:09:53and you are a human,
01:09:55so we are really just not a human.
01:09:56If you are a human,
01:09:57You think right after me,
01:09:59and you think right after me,
01:10:00and you think right after me,
01:10:02and you know what I am,
01:10:02when I am not disappointed,
01:10:03But I am the Lord, firmly human, and honored by your mind,
01:10:09to strive by the people, all who are sitting in front of me.
01:10:13They curled religious and weird.
01:10:16They shake their heads at me.
01:10:18Even though I have the Lord, let him deliver me.
01:10:22He loves you because he loves you.
01:10:25Yet you do me for the living Lord.
01:10:28Please be safe in my mother's dress.
01:10:30My mind, who I was from, is the birth of you of our God.
01:10:35Do not stay far from me, for trouble is near, and there is no one to tell.
01:10:42And he holds throughout me.
01:10:44There is a cold, so I am not in the service of me.
01:10:47They open their mouths against me.
01:10:50My eyes have reddened to the line.
01:10:52Like the water, when night breaks its way, all my humbles grow soft.
01:10:57My heart has become like wax, that melts away within me, as dry as a cross is worth in my
01:11:05throat.
01:11:06My tongue sticks with my power, as you lay me into the depths of death.
01:11:11I know the rocks around me.
01:11:13I have to go with the blue roses in on me.
01:11:17So wasted are my hands with me, that I am a battle of my bones.
01:11:22They stare at me in the boat.
01:11:25They divide my darkness among them, for my clothing they cast upon us.
01:11:30But you, Lord, do not have the strength of my heart.
01:11:33So I pray, come, please, to help me.
01:11:36Deliver me from the sword.
01:11:39I have more than one light from the two of the world.
01:11:42I have more than one light from the two of the world.
01:11:47And I will put in your name for the assembly.
01:11:52In unity I will praise you.
01:11:54You will hear the Lord, give grace.
01:11:57All the sins of David.
01:11:59Give me time for children of us.
01:12:02All the sins of Israel.
01:12:04For God has not spread.
01:12:06Let's change the mystery.
01:12:07Can you get the...
01:12:10Lucifer.
01:12:28All the sins of Israel.
01:12:32and we shall return to the Lord.
01:12:34All the families of nations
01:12:36will be all over the place.
01:12:39For kingship belongs to the Lord,
01:12:42the ruler of the nation.
01:12:44All who sleep in the earth
01:12:46will bow to the Lord,
01:12:48all who are gone down
01:12:50and healed of the saints
01:12:51will be all over the place.
01:12:53And I will live for the Lord
01:12:55by the descendants will serve you.
01:12:57A generation has come,
01:12:59and I will be told to the Lord,
01:13:01and I will be told to the Lord,
01:13:02and I will speak to the Lord,
01:13:05and I will see you again,
01:13:07and I will see you again.
01:13:09I will see you again.
