00:00I understand we're discussing a civil war? I must not have gotten my invitation.
00:06Welcome to Mojo Plays, and today we're taking a look at 10 questions we are dying to get answers for
00:13regarding Season 2 of Fallout.
00:17You claim to have information for Kaisar.
00:19Well, I understand that the Legion ain't fans with the linear progression of time.
00:24Or the soft sea for that matter.
00:26Before we begin, we publish new videos all week long.
00:29So be sure to subscribe to Mojo Plays, and ring the bell to be notified about our latest videos.
00:35What will happen to Norm and Claudia?
00:39Listen to me!
00:41Who even are you? Seriously?
00:48I'm the product of 200 years of genetic engineering.
00:51Norm clearly has some problems with identity, and confidence, and well, a lot of things.
00:57So we're not sure how he thought things would go his way, leading a whole other vault that is very
01:03clearly different from the one he came from.
01:05As we saw, it led to a romance, then to a mutiny, and soon after, a whole slaughter between vaulties
01:12and radroaches.
01:13So what now?
01:14He's got an injured vaultie, a very measly helping of supplies, we hope, and not much else.
01:21Will he and Claudia be the first to stumble upon the effects of the forced evolutionary virus?
01:25Or is it time to go intruding into some other vault, and masquerading as yet another leader?
01:38Are Barbara and Janie really alive?
01:46Let's just jump straight into this question.
01:49In the season finale, the ghoul finds that his wife and daughter are no longer in their cryopods.
01:55However, he spots a postcard for Colorado, with a note saying, quote,
02:00Colorado was a good idea, end quote.
02:04But now the question becomes, what is even in Colorado?
02:07See, after the bombs dropped, the state became divided between several different factions,
02:13the most notable one being the hangdogs.
02:16The problem is that Caesar's Legion invaded and slowly conquered all of Colorado,
02:20until they had pretty much total control in the year 2281.
02:25Given the show takes place in 2296, does the Legion still have that foothold there?
02:32What if Barbara and Janie were forced to join the Legion to survive?
02:35We're just gonna have to wait and see what happened to them until season three.
02:40First time in 200 long-ass years.
02:46I know my family's alive.
02:49How did Stephanie and Hank separate?
02:51I don't know what you said, but it worked.
02:54Can you believe it?
02:55We talked all night in that four in the morning this little romantic proposed.
03:00One of the most shocking revelations in the season finale was that Hank and Stephanie wound up getting married.
03:07This already has us pondering a few things in regards to their stories.
03:10How did they get separated before the Great War?
03:13Was Stephanie a government spy by the time she met Hank?
03:16How did she even get a role like that as a Canadian?
03:19And what are the odds that the two will cross paths again?
03:23It's tough to say for that last one, as Hank now sits in New Vegas with a completely wiped memory,
03:29and seemingly no desire or drive to venture out.
03:32If you can hear this, initiate phase two.
03:40Who is Clancy Brown playing?
03:43The President of the United States is in Las Vegas.
03:46How would you feel about giving it directly to him?
03:49You can give me a meeting with the President.
03:51Yes.
03:52This has been bugging us since the seventh episode of season two.
03:56At the end of that, we see Cooper hand over a diode-containing cold fusion over to the President of
04:02the United States,
04:03who is played by the legendary Clancy Brown.
04:07On top of that, season two's finale shows that the Enclave,
04:11which is essentially the United States government in the world of Fallout,
04:14is very much alive, thriving, and spying on everybody.
04:19That said, who in the hell is Clancy Brown's character?
04:24Is he the real John Henry Eden?
04:26Is he some other president we don't know about?
04:28There is just no way you get an actor like Clancy Brown all gussied up
04:33and put in a show just for him to be in one scene where he utters a single line.
04:38His character has to be a key player for season three.
04:41Mr. President, thank you for doing the right thing, son.
04:47What the hell is happening to Thaddeus?
04:53Oh, uh, yeah, yeah, I would.
04:58I just seem to be having sort of a medical episode here.
05:01So, a good chunk of season two was spent introducing the concept of the forced evolutionary virus.
05:08While we were fed some information here and there through Norm in his findings,
05:12Thaddeus is slowly being turned into a ghoul.
05:15Or, so we thought, until his arm just popped off.
05:19Judging from what the games have taught us about the virus,
05:22FEV is responsible for creating many creatures roaming the wasteland,
05:27such as super mutants and centaurs.
05:29Well, there's no way Thaddeus is becoming a super mutant,
05:33so something tells us he's going to become a six-legged monstrosity by the end of season three.
05:39What do we always say?
05:40Most kids are dead by the same age!
05:44Okay, back to work.
05:45What will become of Lucy and Maximus?
05:48Lucy?
05:56One of the oddest moments in season two was the last shot of Lucy and Maximus
06:01looking over New Vegas in Mr. House's office,
06:04House's computer screen flickering a bit behind them.
06:07So, an obvious sign that we're going to see all three next season,
06:10what we're confused about is what is left for Lucy and Maximus in New Vegas.
06:15It's not like they can make society better there.
06:18The NCR came marching in right after Maximus had taken out most of the deathclaws on his own,
06:23and the NCR is going to run things the way that they think should be run.
06:27So, what's the point in our couple staying in the desolate Sin City?
06:32There's going to be a war, and it's all my fault.
06:40Yeah, well...
06:43Welcome to the wasteland.
06:45Who is the hooded super mutant?
06:54In season two's sixth episode,
06:57the ghoul is saved by an unknown being that is soon revealed to be a super mutant,
07:02played by famed Fallout narrator Ron Perlman, by the way.
07:05But what the super mutant says to the ghoul is what has us flustered.
07:22We have a very sneaking suspicion that this character has to be Marcus.
07:27After all, Marcus has been a very important character throughout the games,
07:31and judging from what he says, this being probably took the ghoul to Jacobstown,
07:36the former tourist attraction turned sanctuary for super mutants.
07:41Jacobstown is the second attempt Marcus made at making a super mutant safe haven,
07:46and you would expect somebody like him to care a great deal about who knows and doesn't know about their
07:52location.
07:53The ghouls, mutants, we're kin, and we should unite against our common enemy.
08:00They drove us to the point of extinction, and forgot we ever existed.
08:05Where have the super mutants been all this time?
08:08They called us abominations, but they created our kind.
08:13Now, even though we can assume many of the super mutants in New Vegas have been hiding in Jacobstown,
08:18we still have to ask, where are they all?
08:22New Vegas isn't the only city that they're roaming around in.
08:25In the games, we've seen them in the capital, the commonwealth, and even California.
08:30Yes, we know the show takes place long after all of those games.
08:34Still, what's caused them to be so rare to see?
08:38There's no way they all got shoved into Jacobstown, right?
08:41Well, it is I got to do.
08:43I do it alone.
08:48And how's that working out for you?
08:52What war is coming?
08:54We didn't forget them.
08:56The people who settle this in motion.
09:05The Enclave.
09:07Another thing we learned from the super mutant who is totally not Marcus is that, in his words,
09:13there's a war coming.
09:15He then tries to convince the ghoul to join him because, according to this super mutant
09:19who absolutely is not Marcus, ghouls and super mutants have a common enemy in the Enclave.
09:25Does that mean the super mutants are about to invade the capital?
09:28Or is the Enclave planning to conquer a portion of New Vegas?
09:33What war is coming exactly?
09:35You know, there are way too many characters speaking in riddles in this damn show.
09:40Quintus the Destroyer is born.
09:52How does the show tie into Fallout 5?
09:56The Enclave is still out there.
09:59We're not done, Mr. Howard.
10:01We have business.
10:03For fans of the video games, this is probably the most important question that may not get
10:08answered until, you know, a decade from now.
10:11Prior to Season 2's debut, Bethesda Games studio director Todd Howard stated that the
10:16show was going to have a direct impact on Fallout 5.
10:20Well, Season 2 ends with a tease, showing the ghoul setting out for Colorado to find his wife
10:26and daughter.
10:27That, coupled with the talks of war coming from he who is definitely not Marcus, tell
10:32us one of two things.
10:34Either A, Fallout 5 will take place in Colorado, or B, the show will end in a location where
10:41Fallout 5 will pick up from.
10:43Considering The Elder Scrolls 6 is still M.I.A., the Fallout show could go another 10 seasons
10:49before we see where anything is correlating to Fallout 5.
10:53What a shame.
