A shocking incident of alleged familial violence was reported in Maharashtra's Beed district, where a man was allegedly assaulted by his brother and an accomplice outside the Panchayat Samiti office.

According to police, Samadhan Khindkar had visited the Beed Panchayat Samiti office for personal work when he was allegedly confronted by his brother, Dada Khindkar, and another individual.

The accused reportedly objected to Samadhan's alleged interference in Gram Panchayat matters, leading to a heated confrontation.

The complainant alleged that the duo assaulted him with an iron pipe and fists and also issued death threats during the attack.

Based on Samadhan Khindkar's complaint, Shivajinagar Police registered a case late Wednesday night against Dada Khindkar and another accused.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are examining the circumstances surrounding the alleged assault.
