00:00Good afternoon. For some of us it's the final day of the dry and warm weather as things are set
00:06to
00:06change through this week. Let's take a look at the satellite picture from this morning. So far you
00:11can see it's still pretty cloudy across the UK but actually this is quite high level cloud so
00:15we'll continue to see that milky sunshine through this afternoon. High pressure still dominating
00:20across a large part of England and Wales but up to the northwest weather fronts are approaching
00:26and that will bring the change to the colder and more unsettled weather throughout tomorrow.
00:32Now that wet weather is already pushing into parts of northern Scotland as well as northern Ireland,
00:36parts of the north Wales as well as northwestern England, also seeing a few spots of rain into this afternoon.
00:42Elsewhere it will remain dry through the rest of the day. The best of the sunshine across the far south
00:48and east here. Temperatures once again in the mid-teens, highs of 16 possible here but elsewhere
00:53closer to 9 or 10 particularly when we're closer to that rain as well as stronger winds. The winds will
01:00pick up around this area of rain through Monday night. Now it persists across parts of northern
01:05Ireland, elsewhere across Scotland as well we'll see spells of wet weather overnight tonight. Some drizzly
01:11rain pushing into parts of Wales, northwestern parts of England as well by tomorrow morning. Further south
01:17though a dry night to come. It is going to be a milder night than of late across much of
01:22the UK. We're not
01:23expecting a frost because we've got much milder air that's moved in due to all this cloud and rain. Now
01:29that cloud
01:29will clear the far north of Scotland by tomorrow morning and behind it, it turns even windier, colder and blustery
01:35with showers pushing in across more northern areas throughout tomorrow. But it's across this central slither where we need to
01:42take our
01:43attention to because we can see some quite persistent rain across parts of north Wales and across western areas of
01:49the
01:49Pennines as well. That's going to persist through much of Tuesday. Again further south of this band, it will remain
01:55largely dry today. Some spits and spots of rain possible but I think still another relatively dry day but it's
02:01going to be a
02:02breezier one and that rain will push further south overnight into Wednesday. So again a fairly mild day for the
02:10time of year
02:10across the far south to come tomorrow but for most of us temperatures will be much closer to average.
02:16And across the far north of Scotland in particular these blustery showers will continue. Some of these
02:20falling as snow and hail. So pretty unpleasant day to come for many northern areas on Tuesday. And that more
02:27unpleasant
02:28wetter unsettled theme does become more widespread Tuesday evening. See some very gusty winds around this band of rain
02:36through Tuesday evening as that pushes further south into England as well as Wales. So a spell of
02:42unsettled weather that could bring some disruption to come later on Tuesday. So please stay tuned to the
02:47forecast because then it does turn colder and there is a risk of a few snow flurries. So winter might
02:53not
02:53quite be over just yet. But stay tuned to the forecast by subscribing to our YouTube channel
02:58channel. And I'll see you again soon. Bye bye.
