00:03The Xbox One update for November is rolling out for everyone.
00:07What can you expect? We have some great new features on tap.
00:11Let's take a look.
00:14First up we have custom backgrounds,
00:16which come in two flavors.
00:18You can take the art from any Xbox One achievement you've earned
00:21and set it as your background on home, like so.
00:26You can also take a JPEG or PNG image from a USB drive or DLNA server
00:33and set that as your background as well.
00:35Simply fire up the media player, select your picture,
00:41and you can set it as your background.
00:46Next up on the personalization train is your profile,
00:49which boasts some significant improvements.
00:51You can now set your location and bio for one.
00:56My favorite change though is the showcase.
00:59Here you can play several achievements and game clips
01:03that highlight your most memorable moments playing on Xbox One.
01:07It provides a great snapshot of the moments you're most proud of.
01:11Speaking of which, sharing great clips with the community
01:14has gotten easier as well.
01:16You can now choose to share a game DVR clip by way of Twitter.
01:20You simply need to attach your Twitter account under settings
01:23and the option will be available anytime you want to share a clip.
01:27For Smart Glass, we also have a few welcome improvements.
01:31First, Xbox Live Gold members can now browse the games with gold
01:35and deals with gold content right from Smart Glass.
01:39And, of course, if your console is set to instant on,
01:43anything you choose will begin to download to your home Xbox.
01:47Now, when browsing games in Smart Glass, you can also see which of your friends
01:52have already played that game.
01:54We've also added a new section specifically designated for apps,
01:59so you can more easily browse and download them.
02:02We've also made some changes on the game storefront as well.
02:06We've made the navigation options such as search and add-ons easier to find
02:11by placing them all on the left as soon as you open the store.
02:16We've also standardized the highlighted categories to make browsing more efficient as well.
02:21Your TV experience is also getting a few updates as well.
02:25Live TV trending allows fans in the US, Canada, and the UK to see what TV shows are most popular
02:32on Xbox by the minute.
02:33In the US, fans will see Twitter TV trending as well, including actual tweets for live TV shows in the
02:40mini-guide,
02:40complete with the show's hashtag.
02:44The mini-guide has also been updated to include a recents and favorites section for changing channels.
