00:30And so we're finally ready to ship support for screenshots.
00:34How does it work?
00:34If you remember, we added a Snap Center late last year,
00:38and you can double tap the Xbox button and see press X to record that.
00:43Now you're going to see that you can press Y to save a screenshot.
00:47Great.
00:48What's really neat about this is the way that it works is really kind of cool.
00:52As soon as you double tap the Xbox button, we take the screenshot.
00:57I see.
00:57And then when you see the cue in Snap Center, you just hit the Y button,
01:02and it will save off the screenshot that we took.
01:05I see.
01:06And what's cool about this is some games go into their menu.
01:10When you double tap the Xbox button,
01:12it guarantees that you're taking a screenshot of the scene that you wanted to take the screenshot of.
01:17And we'll also have voice support?
01:18That's right.
01:19So Richard, what can I do with the screenshots?
01:20So we're updating the Upload app, which, as you know, is where you browse your game DVR clips.
01:27It's now going to support the screenshots that you take as well.
01:31And so once you save a couple of screenshots, you'll see them in the Upload app.
01:35You'll be able to like, comment, and share from the Upload app to your activity feed.
01:40You'll be able to share to Twitter.
01:41You'll be able to send them in a message to show off to your friends the cool thing that you've
01:45been doing.
01:46And even cooler than, I think, all of that is you'll be able to set the screenshot as your background
01:51on Home.
01:52Very, very cool.
01:53But I wanted to, you just talked about something real quickly, and that's the update to the Upload app.
01:57And that's a massive, massive update.
01:59Yes, there's some really cool things coming in a new release of Upload Studio.
02:04Green screen.
02:05I can do green screen now.
02:07Richard, what else do we have in the March update?
02:10Well, so we're adding some features to help you make more friends on Xbox Live.
02:16So, if you remember, last year we added the ability to share your real name with specific people.
02:21You can share it with friends of friends.
02:23And in March, you'll now be able to set that you want to share your real name with everyone on
02:29Xbox Live
02:29to make it even easier for people you didn't know were playing on Xbox Live to find you.
02:37So, Richard, I see here suggested friends. Tell me about that.
02:40In an effort to get you more people to play with on Xbox Live,
02:44we're adding suggested friends in the form of people you might know
02:48based on people who are following you that you're not following back,
02:52people that you've played with recently, friends of friends, things like that.
02:56But we're also adding people to watch based on their popularity in the community,
03:01doing Twitch broadcasts, hit game DVR clip creators, things like that,
03:06to help you make more friends on Xbox Live.
03:08So, some sharp-eyed folks may recognize this is very similar to the feature in the Xbox app on Windows
03:1310.
03:14That's exactly right.
03:15So, it debuted on the Xbox app for Windows 10,
03:18and we're now bringing the feature to the console.
03:21We also have another feature for March that came straight from the community.
03:25You can now customize your tile transparency.
03:28This way, you can pick how transparent you want the system tiles to be on home
03:33when you set a custom background.
03:35Richard, great work by the team this month.
