00:08The first system update of the year is beginning to roll out for Xbox One right now.
00:12It includes game hubs, a controller update, tile transparency, and some TV improvements.
00:18Let's take a look.
00:20First, a brand new controller update allows your controller to connect with your Xbox One in about 2 seconds.
00:26Much faster than before.
00:28The update also provides a number of fixes for issues that were submitted by fans and preview members.

00:39Next up, we have game hubs.
00:41Just like you have your own gamer profile, games now have their own profile.
00:46Here you can see which of your friends is playing that game.
00:50Popular broadcasts and clips from the community, people to watch, quick access to add-ons,
00:55and, my personal favorite, game-specific leaderboards to see how you stack up against your friends.
01:04You'll also have quick access to achievements, the store, and shortcuts for launching the game, such as play and broadcast,
01:11which will automatically launch the game, snap twitch, and begin broadcasting.
01:17Another really interesting part of this feature is that developers can manage their games hub.
01:22They can post news on the activity feed, highlight community clips, and more.
01:31You can view these posts in the games hub, or you can also choose to follow the game, which will
01:36also allow you to see their posts in your own activity feed.
01:40Another new feature this month is tile transparency.
01:43We received a lot of great feedback when we introduced custom backgrounds,
01:48but we heard loud and clear that you wanted to see more of the backgrounds you chose.
01:53Now, once you set a custom background, the tiles on home will become semi-transparent so your backgrounds are more
01:59visible.
02:01Finally, we have a host of new updates for TV for regions around the world.
02:05For instance, live TV trending has been added to France, Germany, Brazil, and Mexico.
