00:31Before we get to the games, head of Xbox Phil Spencer took to the stage to kick things off.
00:37We have a vision that we believe puts the gamer at the center of everything we're doing.
00:43100% of our focus is on making sure that games that people can play on our platform are as
00:50great as they can be.
00:51And our long-term commitment is that we'll stay exactly focused on that.
00:54What games can you play on Microsoft platforms, making sure that's the best platform, best service, best content, best games
01:03that you can find.
01:07I'm here with Peter from The Coalition. Peter's going to talk to us about Gears of War Ultimate Edition on
01:11Windows 10.
01:12Peter, it looks gorgeous. Tell me about it.
01:14It is gorgeous. So if the Ultimate Edition on Xbox One came out last fall, this is, you could say,
01:19Ultimate Ultimate Edition.
01:20And now it's out on Windows 10.
01:21It's not just a direct port. You guys really did a lot of work to make it really look and
01:26play great on Windows 10.
01:27Yeah, we rebuilt all the assets, all the models, all the textures, all 4K, taking advantage of the X12 and
01:32all that good stuff.
01:33Lock it out!
01:37Next!
01:39You're going to show me how to play Minecraft with Oculus, which means I'm going into a Minecraft world, right?
01:54Chandelier, we have a bookcase, I've got a flower, and me!
02:00Ah! I'm in my world!
02:05Here it is, the man, Palmer Luckey, the inventor of Oculus Rift. Palmer, it's great to see you.
02:10It's great to be here.
02:11Now listen, we're talking about Minecraft on Oculus Rift. Tell us, tell us about that experience.
02:16So the real goal is to make you feel like you're inside of Minecraft using our virtual reality technology.
02:21And, you know, the Minecraft team has done an incredible job of making Minecraft into an incredible VR experience.
02:27You're really making it feel like you're inside of the game instead of just watching it happen on the other
02:30side of the screen.
02:31And they've made a lot of performance optimizations, UI optimizations. It's really an incredible experience.
02:36And what I love is, I mean, you guys are tremendously hot right now. Everyone's really excited about getting their
02:40hands on Oculus later this year.
02:42But Minecraft is one of the biggest, biggest games in the world now. Bringing those two together, that's just magical,
02:47isn't it?
02:47Well, it's magical because there's so many people out there who are interested in Minecraft that are more interested in
02:53VR now.
02:54Because, you know, they're dedicated to Minecraft. They spend tons of hours in it. There's a lot of people in
02:59the Minecraft community who are excited about VR because you're actually in the same space with somebody building these things.
03:04Thank you very much, Palmer.
03:12I'm here with Dan Greenewald from Turn 10. I'm really excited to talk about Forza Apex. Tell us about it.

03:35People that love cars and are really into games.
03:38Now, this will be available later this spring, downloadable on Windows 10.
03:41What are some things we can expect in the game? What type of driving game is it?
03:45Well, every single experience in the game is more than a race.
03:49So you get in, we've got a video that might be narrated by James May or Richard Hammond or Matt
03:54Farah,
03:55and they tell you a story about why these cars and tracks are paired so well.
03:59But also, as you play the game, there's a scoring system and an objective system
04:02that rewards you and challenges you to turn assists off or try driving in a cockpit with you
04:07or just get different experiences.
04:09All up, it's designed to have a lot of replay value and be really rewarding.
04:15I'm here with Ryan from Turn 10.
04:17Ryan, we're talking about Forza Motorsport 6.

05:17Let's go through those.

05:23So when you see it, it's really going to pop.
05:24It's going to really make it look great.
05:26Now, coming to Windows 10 and Xbox One at the same time, I hear it's going to allow crossplay.
05:32That is very true.
05:33Now, what does that mean?
05:33Basically, it means that we are all one Killer Instinct game.
05:36So if you're playing on Windows 10 PC or you're playing on Xbox One, you're going to hop into matchmaking
05:39and you're going to be able to play with your buddies, no matter which platform they're on.
05:42Another victory.
05:43Yes, but there is always another battle.
05:49All right, here we are inside this massive room filled with Quantum Break.
05:54Now, of course, it's coming to Xbox One, but we're also playing it on Windows 10.
05:57Now, if you digitally pre-order Quantum Break on Xbox One, you will get the Windows 10 version absolutely free.
06:04Now, this is amazing because it's going to share the game save.
06:06So you can play it on Xbox One, pick it up on Windows 10 and go right back and forth.
06:11It's incredible.
06:12And the game looks like a ton of fun.

07:13Wow.
07:13You and 15 of your friends all in the same party.
07:16Another big one, people twitch broadcast all the time.
07:19Now, their entire party will be heard on the broadcast.

07:36So we've added it to the guide.
07:37Very easy access to see how you're doing on the achievements.
07:39What's the next one you've got to go get?
07:41It kind of tracks them all along there, so it's going to make it even easier to unlock those achievements.
07:45Now, one of the big features that you were telling about earlier, I'm really excited about.
07:48Tell me about that.
07:49Well, people can now buy Xbox 360 back-to-back games right on Xbox One.
