The incident began in the Nacharam police station area when P. Raju, a private company employee, was returning home in his MG Windsor car after work in Mallapur.
Near Mallapur X-Road, a Bolero (registration number TS09FF0094) allegedly rammed into Raju’s vehicle from behind and fled the scene without stopping.
Raju’s friends reportedly chased the Bolero and intercepted it near H.B. Colony under the jurisdiction of Kushaiguda Police Station.

When one of Raju’s friends, identified as Satish, stood in front of the Bolero to question the occupants, the accused allegedly rammed the vehicle into him. As the SUV moved forward, Satish was dragged for several meters while clinging to the bumper.
He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
