A shocking case of road rage rocked Jaipur’s Murlipura on Saturday evening, August 16. Chandrashekhar (35), a labourer from Uttar Pradesh, was crushed to death by a Mahindra Scorpio after a car collision escalated into violence near Khatushyamji temple on Sikar Road.

Eyewitnesses said four to five youths from the Scorpio vandalised a Maruti Brezza with sticks, drawing a crowd. In the chaos, Chandrashekhar fell onto the road and was deliberately run over as the miscreants fled. He was declared dead at Kanwatia Hospital.

The incident, caught on CCTV, has gone viral, sparking public anger. Locals alleged the Scorpio bore a political party flag, though police said this is under investigation. A case of unintentional murder has been registered, and a manhunt for the accused is underway.

This comes just days after a retired army officer died in another Jaipur road incident, raising alarm over rising road rage cases.
