00:00We had quite a large yarding today of around 1,050 cattle in the end.
00:05Yeah, a really good yarding of cattle.
00:07We had all weights and ranges categories in today.
00:12If I'll just run you through some categories there.
00:14The steers, the heavy feeder steers, sort of 380 to 400 kilos and above.
00:21They were sort of 440 to 460.
00:24The black steers, they're seeing a premium there at 460.
00:26If we drop down in the categories, a similar price was sort of 440 to 460 with some really
00:33good pens of those 300 kilo cattle and reaching a high of 515, I believe, on a nice run of
00:4016 black steers there.
00:43So yeah, all in all, a really good result on the steers.
00:46We were probably 30 to 40 cents cheaper than where we were at the previous market.
00:51Onto the heifers, we had some really nice breedable and feedable heifers in there early in the
00:58run.
00:58They were seeing a premium of around 460 a kilo.
01:02And if you drop down into the sort of 280 to 300 kilo range heifers, they were bringing
01:08around their 15, 20 of some of the heifers that were here.
01:11You know, you can turn out and join in May.
01:14So yeah, around that 460 and 480 on premium for those lighter heifers.
01:18And we had some really nice well-bred white calves in around that 200 kilos that were pushing
01:24upwards, $500, $500 a kilo there on those lighter heifers.
01:27So all in all, a really good result.
01:29But yeah, slightly back on where we were when we opened up the season.
01:34Where did the buyers come from?
01:35Yeah, so really good support from buyers, wide and far today.
01:39South-east, the Riverland, talked a few there, over to the EP.
01:44And yeah, really well supported by our regular buyers here today, which underpinned the wholesale.
