00:00We've yarded just on approximately I think 1900 Dishai 2000 cattle. The quality was pretty good
00:05right through the yarding. A large majority of spring drop weaner calves starting to come through
00:10which was good to see and they were well supported certainly big support out of the Gippsland for
00:14those cattle and some of those in the lighter weights 290 to 300 kilo steers making Dishai
00:20or either side of six dollars a kilo. Our feeder steers were well supported too plenty of competition
00:25on those right down the first lane and again quality very good there. I thought the heifer
00:29quality was there and probably sold above expectation. I think we've seen it possibly
00:33firm without going into the finers. I think it's certainly firm on last month and quality
00:38being probably the big driver of that. So all in all a pretty solid day and I think some forecast
00:44rain on the horizon in the near future has just sort of probably bounced back a bit of confidence
00:49here at Yale. So all in all a solid day.
