00:00The sale today, we had approximately 950 cattle here today. It was an outstanding yarding right
00:05through the yard and probably as heavy as yarding we've had for quite some time. As a credit to the
00:10vendors, all the cattle, there was a very good line of Angus cattle mainly, there was a few
00:14grays and herefords amongst them, some speckles. Generally I thought right across all categories
00:18today we'll probably be 20 to 30 cents, maybe even a little bit more at times in front of the last
00:23previous sales. It was a bit more spirited bidding and buyers from obviously Wendurabi feedlot was
00:29very strong, TFI was another processor, then Loxton, then also Elders Roseworthy buying for
00:36several clients there. We also could buy a few cattle for local people that have onsold light
00:41calves, they've grown out the 400 plus kilos of feedlot and look in the top up and they'll
00:45carry them through to sort of this time next year or sort of late spring this year. So
00:50very spirited day to day, but very good quality yarding. It was an excellent line of heifers
00:56almost ready to mate and they were chased after quite strongly. There also was a line
01:01of 20 cows and calves out the back, that sold to $3,100 I reckon it was. They're a very good
01:08guy, unfortunately they come from down deep creek picked by the fires, but the Shining
01:12lot is there, they still make very good money at $3,100.
